Vehicle was dirty (looked like a carbonated beverage exploded over the passenger seat area). Large circular crack in the windshield on the passenger side. Vehicle only had 1/2 tank of gas when picked up. Attempted to contact drop off location several times & nobody answered so I called UHAUL directly. I was being transferred to scheduling and just like the drop off location, nobody answered. Extremely poor customer svc that felt directed towards a disabled veteran.

Adk MNobody was there when I picked up at my designated time then I had to call and change my pickup to on my phone and then the app glitched and wouldn’t scan my license. Nothing to do with the location but U-Haul in general is a rip off and I will not be renting again. I would’ve saved money just using my truck and making trips. They charged me an extra $50 for going 1 mile outside my mileage then charged me $30 for it not being directly on 3/8ths gas and charged me $50 for them having to put gas in it. When I picked up I had to put gas in it to make it to my destination and it was $50 to fill it. So they charged me $80 for half an 8th of gas. First and worst experience ever.
Mariah BNot all the lights worked on the trailer, wiring was hanging low on the trailer. Trailer was covered in road dirt/salt so a full inspection could not be completed.
Jonathan SArea wasn’t plowed well. Had to drive between 2 storage units and the truck was getting stuck in iced slush that hadn’t been cleared. The parking was not easy and ended up having to leave uhaul parked off the side near another truck.

Melissa MI really didn't want a box truck. I had only wanted the pick up or the van. But I also understand that it is not always something they can control. Over all I am happy with the service
Christopher AIt was not a simple return. There was limited to no space for a 26' truck. I had to call the main office and get some approval and assistance where to leave the vehicle.

Shawn KThe 800 national customer service called and said my truck reserved was UNAVAILABLE. I called MY uhaul location in lake placid and he took care of everything and DID have my truck! Thank goodness for the local uhaul dealer! You should CLOSE DOWN the national customer service line, they don't know what they are doing and in turn UPSET uhaul customers!

Aidan Klots of issues with after hours drop-off, from finding "return truck" on uhaul.com website to other issues. thankfully after talking to several people by phone, i was ultimately connected to someone who kept my return experience from being more than 20 minutes. all were friently but the last person was really helpful

Frank PSet up a verification system that doesn’t require calling or use of additional information for frequent users. Like members club so frequent users can be pre-verified.
Irwin MThe employee was great locally BUT uhaul should not assume everyone knows how to use phones and computers. There r still many of us that need a human to help them. Thank God for the employee that we found locally ourselves who assisted us with no help from your 800 number employee.

Bryan BTheir was dirt on the floor on Driver and Passenger side and in the back of the U-Haul. We took time to make it cleaner for the next person to take the truck by sweeping out the dirt from inside of the cab and inside the box. Hoping next time we rent it will be the same way.

tom hOffice location is not the same as the lot location. Upon arriving at the lot, there is a sign with directions to the office which is 5-10 minutes away at 50 Parkside Drive, in Lake Placid. Why not update the web site to show the location of BOTH the office and the lot? Should be simple to do. Bill in the office is just fantastic!
SALVATORE AThe location listed on the contract was not the real office location. When I dropped off I got charged for extra days even though I returned it early because there is no one there to actually confirm drop off until 2 days later. This location was borderline fraud.

Lester PPlease make the $20 fee for not verifying equipment drop off more UP FRONT and EXPLICIT rather than hidden at the bottom of a text message. We were inconvenienced to have to drive back to the drop off site and verify drop off location when we reread your text confirming the order that night.
Richard HHave online inventories match actual location inventory; I had to drive two hours each way to go to a location for a vehicle pick-up, and when I returned and went by a the local U-haul location (Burlington, VT), discovered they had 11-14 of the needed model sitting available and awaiting use, in their parking lot,
