I was sent to La Chiquita by your new Santa Maria central hub because they did not have the trailer I reserved three weeks earlier. That specific trailer was due to he checked in by a customer at 9:am on 29 Aug 19. Calls were made when the trailer was late. Turns out the customer had indeed turned the trailer in to a different u-haul facility 5 days earlier. I was sent to Nipomo causing me to travel in the opposite way I needed to travel and causing me to miss my helper so, I had to load the trailer unassisted. I had to leave an item worth $300 behind. I have used u-haul before but will be very reluctant to either use or refer again.

This place was an hours drive from my location and the trailer was in the middle of a dirt lot.

When I came to the date of actually getting the uhaul o received alot of attitude from the individuals I contacted. It came to the date and no one had a truck. I made a reservation ahead of time for the same reason. By the way I was treated I felt like I was being punished because I made a reservation. The people on the phone where I called yo ask question weren't any better. It's already stressful to move and no one needs the extra stress and attitude.

Grover Beach Tool Rental Uhaul location gave our reserved truck away in front of us. So we had to travel to Nipomo to get a truck. The whole thing took us 2 hours and additional gas (round trip x 2). Picking up a truck should have taken us 15 mins. The Nipomo location added SafeMove and wasn’t able to take that off. I am still due that money back and Uhaul hasn’t made this right. I have called Uhaul customer service 4 times now and my issues have NOT been resolved.

it was easy and the guy who helped us was nice it just seemed a little odd checking out the uhaul at a market

This is the second time I HAVE RENTED FROM THIS LOCATION. THE FIRST TIME THE CLERK Had to call the rental agent who was off sight. He arrived about 15 minutes later. For this rental, the agent arrived at 8:20 AM when the opening time posted for this location is 8:00AM. Again the whole process was too slow. Will not use this location in the future.

Location was closed and an hour late for picking up truck. Rented online for nine hours and they closed four hours early. None of my info was in system so had to do it all over after them opening late. Put me 2 hours behind schedule. WORST expierence I have ever had. Customer service could NOT help!! Just reschedule to another day. Cost me time and money!! Never use U-Haul again and will post expierence in social media.

Parking situation was confusing and very limited. The truck was fine - worked good. They made sure I had the right number of blankets - appreciate the attention to detail. All-in-all got in and out with what I needed and my questions answered in good time.
