MICHAEL LThe price changed without my knowledge after I booked. So it obstructed my budget.
EMMANUEL TThe attendant gave us the keys to the U-Haul rental but she didn't tell us to inspect it or that I would be getting a text message either. I just happened to look at my phone and I saw it. We were going to inspect it anyway as with any rental. We found the following: 1. Loose bumper, dirty inside the back, low tire pressure light was on with (19 lbs) 2. It also had an indicator light stating that it needed an oil change. We took the pictures back inside and showed her. We were most concerned about the low tire pressure and asked if we should put some air in it and she said no it was fine. She just kept saying it was fine and when we brought it back they would fix it. We had planned on using a different form of payment when we returned the rental but found out my credit card had already been charged, She tried to make it seem like that was our only option and there was nothing else she could do. But as I said we have been using U-Haul a long time. My daughter asked for the manager and he had to come in and he changed it no problem. I have been renting from U-Haul for over 35 years so this was not a good experience at all with the equipment or customer service.
tameka HThis is by far the best Uhaul rental I have had. The rental was clean the AC worked well and the rental process was smooth. I would definitely rent from this location again.
shenelle hSlow service because of computer issues. Truck was difficult to retrieve from lot. The lot was full of junk or parts cars. U-haul business seemed like an unimportant side hustle. All of that said, the ladies at the register were friendly. I don't blame them.

Yolanda WEvery location advertised $19.99, but they charged 39.99. I should be refunded my Insurance cost, as vehicle had many areas of damage and not clean inside.
Eric CI was charged an extra day and I didn't have it more than a day. Also there was no gas in the truck no key for the lock. I'm not happy with the service I received this time at all!!!
Shappelle II dropped the truck off on Sunday evening)approximately 6pm) and gave the key to the cashier. She said she would take care of it. On Tuesday, U-Haul Corp. called to ask where was the equipment. I called back and informed them when, where and the time I dropped the truck off. Friday, (8-18) around 10:00am, I called U-Haul again and asked was I checked out. They said, yes. I never received the final bill. I was informed that I had been over charged and would need a refund. I never saw the final bill nor do I know what the over charges were. And as of yet, no one has reached back out to me. Not so happy with the drop off.
Shene MNo sign that Uhal rep is inside the gas station. It took me an hour to get my truck picked up. The person have seen me struggling at the lock box but didn't say anything.
ROMAN SThere was human waste in the back of my truck at the top part of the truck. It was not seen until my movers started packing my stuff. They cleaned the waste. When I returned the truck I told the manager,she would not give me a credit or anything. I was told I should've brought the truck back to her and let her clean it. I told her I had movers who I was paying by the hour, that would've cost me more money and more time had i brought the truck back to her. I have pictures and a video. She refused to watch them. Which makes me believe this was not the first time this happened. I paid the movers to clean the waste.
Monica OThe wait was long. Service wasn't great. I got a call the truck wasn't returned even though I handed the keys directly to the attendant. The mobile checkin didn't work.

kezana mComplete scam. They canceled my original reservation at the store and tried to create a new one for more money. I caught them and made her fix it. I rented the van for 6 hours and only drove 22 miles, she charged me for 3 days. Reporting her to Uhaul and police.
travis pThis truck has a bad ignition, very difficult to remove the key. It will fail soon stranding someone. The transmission is also not great. It does not "click" into place when you go park to reverse. The first click is in neutral. You have to pay attention to ensure you are in reverse. Once I went to back up while on an incline. Thought I was in reverse but was in neutral. Rolled forward, glad I didn't hit someone or something in front of me
William RWhen I drove the vehicle one of the tires had really low tire pressure and the truck kept reminding me that it was time for an oil change. Also when I rented the vehicle I didn't want the insurance and even made sure it wasn't on my order but when the lady rang me up she added it anyways and refused to refund me the insurance cost. I would rate lower but the truck did help me get the job done.
Eric MThey did not have the size I needed. She fails to tell me the right location. We change the renter over to my daughter and we asked them to charge a different card. It took them over 15 days to correct problems. This problem left my account in anegative$500. It became extremely stressful explaining the problem to my bank and haul. The problems still transitional.
DOROTHY HMy truck battery was dead. Had to jump the truck on 3 separate occasions. Then, roadside didn't really do anything for me at all. Completely disappointed.
Jerome LThe truck we rented had a very large trailer attached. Which was not easily removed. The gate was difficult to operate, and the ramp was almost impossible to move in and out
Joseph PTruck was not loaded with any ordered equipment (blankets, dolly) and was initially told equipment was not available, although it was. Had to wait ~15 minutes (after checking in) for keys which were on-site and ready for pickup anyway.
Jordan RIt was really easy to pick up the van, and there is a fantastic restaurant at the same location for a quick eat.
ANDREW HThey need to keep to their appointments, and ensure they acknowledge equipment returns on time. I wasted too much time on the phone addressing issues of equipment return and over billing, which has never happened to me in all my rental s with uhaul.

Leslie CI would not recommend this location for just anyone. The are is kinda rough and un inviting. When pulling in to drop off the truck two men made sexual advances by grabbing their genitals and making kissy faces at my wife. Then after turning in the truck a man approached me and asked for spare change. Also two men were fighting and arguing right in front of the main entrance. So be ready to deal with stuff like that if you drop off here.
Daniel RStaff friendly but needs additional training and vehicle was old and should be removed from service. After hours return, no problem but vehicle was returned at appropriate gas level but I was charged a bogus two gallon fee.

Lillian AWe got there. It was a mix up they couldn't find the truck. When they did locate it a trailer was behind it the lady at the desk couldn't move it. So we had to physically push a trailer out of the way to get our truck. I tried calling the manager who hasn't returned my numerous times to contact him. Now no one answers the phone I feel like they see my number on caller ID and do not answer. So I called from another number they answered with no problem but still no manager

Juan MTruck was very dirty inside. Food and dirt was everywhere. We did not do a walk around before taking the truck so I took pictures before I drove off. The lady who helped me was very nice.

RAYMOND MMaybe, it is conveniently at a gas station so it's easy to fill the tank if you're returning a truck.
Rebecca PI never chose the $25.00 coverage fee. I was overcharged for the service. I need to be refunded for that. Plus the customer service agent was rude.
MOSES AThe U-Haul representative was 1 1/2 hours late to our pick-up time so we were last getting started on our trip. Also, no one was there to hook the trailer up to our car as they have always done in the past with U-Haul. On top of the representative being late, there was no cable to make it a safe u-haul trailer connected to the vehicle's brake system. They then sent us to another U-Haul location that had told them not to send us there because they didn't have a cable. Then we were called to go back to the original location because they purchased one. They had purchased a cable that was too short for any U-Haul trailer use and then the representative had to go back to the store and get a longer one. The entire experience took 3 hours when it should've taken 20 minutes at most. I would like a representative to call about a credit.

essi dI did not receive a receipt when I returned the vehicle on 12/15/21. I was told I would receive my receipt by email, but have not received one yet. This is an important part of the return process and should be executed at the time of return so that there is no confusion. I had to call customer service to get a verbal confirmation that the vehicle was returned.
Jennifer CConvenient because it was open for a late night/last minute pickup. Unfortunately the back lift door wasn't locked when I picked it up. The moving blanket bag was being used for a trash can. Not the best experience frankly but I am grateful I could get a truck in the late evening on short notice.
William PThere was no wire cable to connect the trailer lights. Rental place had no supplies, and did not help. I had to drive to another location and buy a cable. They did nothing to check the equipment. Its is disgraceful that Uhaul lets that gas station represent you.

Shawn M1. About the mobile phone checkin process….Allow the customer to verify all the personal information you need the night before. Of if you can't do that then emphasize the requirement for a passport or additional phone contacts in open text. You asked in the sign up how I wanted to be contacted and I said text. So I never saw the small print info in the email about additional documentation until I arrived to pick up my van. I have never had to provide additional contacts or a passport for any other rental in 50 years and ended up having to drive back home to get my passport and wake up my son to answer the phone. This took 1.5 hours. It's a ridiculous requirement when you have my credit card and drivers license. Plus I could give you anyone's name who had a phone number. It's silly. If I am an untrustworthy person it's likely that my contacts would be as well. 2. This remote pickup location was unsatisfactory.The mobile coverage was poor so it took longer to upload my documents. I had to leave the store to get sufficient coverage to get the browser to refresh and show my confirmation to receive the keys. Then I had to wait 10 minutes for the lady who hands out the keys to drive to the store. And this store where I had to wait for her to arrive was dirty and unkempt inside and outside. I would never use this location again. It would have been a lot easier to just go to a UHaul counter location. 3. Also, it is NOT a Kmart as listed in the pickup location. I drove past the location because of this. It is a Mobil gas station and should be updated with the correct info. 4. Overall, this was a horrible experience and a waste of my time. I was treated like someone with a very poor credit rating who might steal your van and it's not clear why. If it's because not purchasing your insurance raises red flags for you then it should be clearly stated that not purchasing insurance will require extra verification steps. And again that verification should be done the day prior so that it doesn't impact the rental time. This was frustrating on every level.

Chiquina tHad to wait 25 minutes for someone to come in to take care of the rental transaction. Truck was not clean in cabin or truck bed. Trash and liter in truck bed, cup holders had syrupy stuff with bits of trash and cigarette butts in the ash tray. Trucked served its purpose for me but disappointed with the service.

IAN SGood experience overall. When I had to refill the gas the needle did not move. Finally it started to move but because it was slow I realized that i nearly filled it up when it should have been only halfway. Because of this the representative of the gas station called me and told me he was only charging me for one day instead of two. If i ever need a truck again I will go back there.
MAX SThe amount you charge in the beginning of the rental agreement should be the same you charge after the return of the vehicle. You guys keep going into my account to take money... ripoff. The vehicle was not clean as well.
