I did NOT drop my trailer off at Kingston Car Wash and have never been there. I dropped it off at the contract drop location at 985 Mass Ave in Boston. Very curiously Kingston recorded my trailer number at the exact same drop off time, charged me $293 (in addition to my rental contract) for “wrong drop off” location and sent me the receipt as if I had dropped it off there. I talked to Brittney at Uhaul customer service and got a promise this would be looked into and did not receive a call back at the promised time. Sounds like fraud to collect phony fees to me.

I reserved a van at a location close to me. The reservation was confirmed. Yet on the day of the move, I was notified that I had to go to another town and get a 15' truck. Overall, your on line system seems overly complicated ad totally unreliable.

The trailer had no running lights or taillights, therefore I could not use it for night driving. The person at the site said that the reflectors would be good enough. When I said it was not legal to use a vehicle at night in Massachusetts, his excuse was that it was registered in another state. That is no excuse. He did not have another 5' trailer and offered no substitute. I should be refunded all or part of the fee. I have used Uhall on other occasions with complete satisfaction...but not this time.

The guy didn't know anything about safety inspections, truck or trailer service history, there was no turn signals or brake lights on the trailer which was not told to me until I was packed up ready to leave the state.

The entire rental system and pickup experience was horrible!! Nothing matched what I ordered: The pickup site was more than 30 miles away from the original order site (took over an hour to get there), the truck size got changed on me, the blankets and appliance dolly didn't exist at the pickup site and had to go to the original site but they didn't have a dolly available but tried to get me to buy one instead. Nothing about the ordering and pickup of the truck or the rental in general went well. Then they charged me for extra miles even though I had to go 30+ miles out of my way to get the truck. Really awful experience. The return of the truck was the only part that went well.

The back had to be swept before we could load it. Nails, screws, dirty Qtips. And it only had 1/4 tank of gas. For a one way truck I had to guess at what I needed to fill it for the trek and ended up leaving it 1/2 full. With the cost of gas that totally sucked!

The truck had issues starting when turned off for long periods of time. No lights were left on to cause this issue. Had to leave the truck running on my last day I was worried it would start for me to finish my move and get it to the Uhaul location on time.

These guys at the car wash run an excellent unhaul operation Just completed my 3rd rental in a few weeks pick up and drop off. They are ready and very efficient Website and staff are on the ball the moving help that is listed are beyond expectations. I had a great experience Could not ask for more

I rented a van for 1 day, they wrote it up for 2 and said it would be adjusted if I only needed the one day. I brought it bCk the next morning, they said they would email the receipt. They charged me for 2 days. I called, they said your rite it will be adjusted. Today is Friday, not adjusted. Please fix this

I was never informed that there would be a fuel service charge. I ask the customer service rep and he told me that i would only be charged for the extra miles. I am disputing this charge with my credit card company.

The facility was closed on a Saturday which I would think would be the busiest day of the week for moving. This created problems as they forgot to include moving pads in the truck as ordered and no way to rectify . Then took two phone calls and two text messages to have the charges removed. Also they had plenty of trucks yet was told by uhaul I could only get a van. Could have used a larger truck but again no way to rectify the situation.

It took me an hour to get the truck. There was another customer who was frustrated too. Nobody was on site - and this was a busy Saturday! I had to call customer service twice and was put on a long hold both times. The first customer service person sent me a useless link and hung up. The furniture dolly was not in the truck and I got changed for it. UHaul has still not answered my request for a refund on the dolly. When I dropped off the truck, there was a customer there who said that wasn't the truck he ordered. what a mess! UHaul, you need to figure out a better way to rent these trucks. Why do I have to supply two people's contact info to vouch for me? I had to wait until you called them before I could rent the truck. You can do better!

I was given the wrong key and had to feign for myself in the pouring rain. I also was charged a 20 fee for not checking in when finished. I tried for 20 minutes but the program was glitching and would not advance.
