Pretty sure I was overcharged

The tie rods or something in the frontend was bad and you had to steer about a half a turn of the steering wheel to get it to turn. You had to really work to keep it going straight. I complained (within 15 minutes of driving off with it) and was told it was the uhaul I rented, and they couldn't do anything. I could return it but would not receive a refund. I was moving I did not want to just return it, but it would have been nice to have a truck that worked correctly.

Truck was a little dirty inside but not a big deal. Truck ran great! We returned the truck with more gas then when we picked it up, would be nice to have a small refund for that. The man at the pick up spot was super nice and helpful as well. Thank you.

The price in reservation wasn't what I had to pay, maybe you should make sure price is correct to begin with cause 133 was not what I paid it was 293.

Excellent experience. Office personnel was polite, and professional, and his knowledge of the business was extraordinary. The business was clean and orderly, and we certainly, will rent from this location again, and recommend this location for U-Haul over any other local ones. Outstanding, is the best word to sum everything up.

The inside cab smelled of smoke and it appeared to have ashes in the cupholders. The floor was also not clean in the cab. The rest of the equipment was fine.

Dropped off my U-Haul the night before it was due as an overnight drop off and took the fee and then the guy proceeded to LIE to U-Haul that it wasn't even there and charge my card for an extra day and say it was an hour late even tho he also gave me a fee for overnight service. BTW Went to the place and confronted the guy and he told us that he saw the truck when he came in that morning and everything and admitted to it being there and still lied to U-Haul. Place sucks, Guy sucks and will lie. NEVER EVER EVER GO HERE. They will steal from you.

The location is at a gas station, yet the employees of the gas station didn’t know what was going on. They almost didn’t let me drop my uhaul off early and tried to say I needed to wait and bring it back closer to my drop off time.

The truck performed well, although the truck was actually not very clean, and the pictures on the app appear to be dated and did not match the current condition of the vehicle, as there were some scratches and some minor exterior damage that did not show in the pics. Overall, truck did great and the checkout process was very efficient.

There was no windshield washer fluid in the reservoir. These types of things should be part of the routine checking of each vehicle prior to it being rented out.

This location is very convenient for dropping off a 26 foot U-Haul truck. The staff were very friendly and helpful during the process of turning the vehicle in.

The cupholders were sticky and dirty but the worst thing was that the air conditioning didn't work for most of the 5 hour drive and when it did, it was only working on low fan so not great in the high temps of Tennessee.

You don’t have the right vehicles Available, I only needed a reg size van and ended up with a large 15 ft’er which cost more and cost a lot more on gas as well. Not everybody is moving a house full of furniture, there are student’s that don’t have a lot to move but it’s important that they keep what they do have

We returned it when the store was closed so we put the key above the visor instead of asking us about it they charged me 250$ then we got it dirty didnt even have the dolly in the truck that I paid for. We returned it clean but yet they charged us a 100$ for a cleaning fee .. so I refuse to pay for something I know they didn't do. 595$ for 3 days. I would go somewhere else!

This location does not have a dropbox. I spent about 20 minutes in the cold at night looking for it and had to wait for over 51 minutes for a call back about the situation. Then I es told to bring the key to the location in the morning which is 30 minutes in the opposite direction of where I was the next morning. I got there to be told they don't accept the 26' trucks and that I needed to take it down the road to the main hub. I didn't have anyone who could bring me back. I called Uhaul to be told they never reported they couldn't accept the trucks. I was then instructed to go BACK and put the keys under the driver's seat. Uhaul still hasn't offered an compensation or an apology for the inconvenience.

24/7 truck share didn’t work. No drop box to pick up key. Had to wait on store to open and then the owner was rude. The whole thing was a cluster. The owner checked me in but entered the wrong drop off location.

I chose this location because of how I was mistreated at the 1805 E Stone Drive - Kingsport location. The gentleman at this location(1505 W Stone Drive-Kingsport) was very professional, courteous and patient (I asked a lot of questions). Thank you sir!

I was charged 1 full extra day upon return because I was 10 minutes late and after the clerk checked the odometer, fuel and gave me my receipt, I was 30 minutes late. I was told there wasn't anything he could do to change the charge for an extra day. This wasn't a good experience with Uhaul. I'll think twice before using it again.

The truck had bottles. I had reserved a 15 ft truck 2 weeks prior and when we got there they claimed they didn’t have one to use. So they said we have 20 ft truck but was forced to pay extra even though I had reserved a 15 ft truck way in advance. And they were rude the whole time trying to even rent the other truck. Worst experience ever!

The check engine light was on and the windshield wipers needed to be replaced. The metal of the windshield wiper on the driver’s side was scraping on the glass. I told the lady behind the counter, but she dismissed what I said. She also has a nice selection of drug paraphernalia for sale. It’s one thing to be frequented by addicts, but it’s another to knowingly profit from their addiction. I won’t be back to this location.

Worst customer service model of ANY business EVER!! Though I called and talked to a person, they didn't hold the reservation. The 10 ft truck I ordered wasn't there and I was forced into a 15 ft at the higher price. It smelled like cigarette smoke! The tank was 3/4 full. Per the directions, I brought the truck back with more gas than I got it with. They still charged for gas!!! I drove the truck 2 miles over the limit of 117, and was charged and extra fee for that too!!! Every time the excuse was "there's nothing we can do" or "its the system". Thus was a terrible experience!!
