I requested the 10' truck because it said it was big enough for a studio one bedroom apartment. Not even close to the right size! We had moved the bed two weeks prior- even with that we filled our pickup truck and the front seat of the rental truck to get everything moved. i was charged for fuel when i had returned the truck to the rental place with the exact amount i had when rented. i didn't take pictures at the beginning so that was my fault. i drive 25 miles and filled it with $15.00 worth of gas. they charged me $27.00 extra for missing fuel. bad businesscorinne C.

The left tire had a slow leak. Over night, the tire was flat by morning. I drove over 500 miles to my destination and had to fill the tire up at every stop. What an inconvenience as well as being stressfull.Susan M.

I would say that while efficient the young lady that works the desk could be more helpful. I wanted to purchase some packing items and I asked about pricing. She said the price is right there, well no, what I wanted was NOT listed on the sheet. The gentleman that was there upon return was quite friendly and I informed him of an issue with the van that was there before I left in the morning and that I had told the woman about before I drove off the property. The truck was relatively clean except the windshield was filthy. The return process was slow and they didn't answer the phone when I tried to reach them on two occasions. Their lot is small and jam-packed which makes it hard to get in and out.David S.

Everything was easy, owner of kings tires was very nice and helpful. I had to keep the van longer than stated at time of rental and they were very accommodating. Only complaint I have is, whoever cleans the vehicle when customer returns it needs to be more thorough. I found a box of food under the seat that was black w moldy food. Grossed me out! When we picked up the UHaul, we were not informed that we would be doing a self-drop-off when we were done with the vehicle. When we arrived to return the vehicle, the person at the facility said that whoever gave us the vehicle at Kings Tires should have explained the process to us and instructed us to create an account. We were charged a refueling fee because they said we brought truck back with 1/8 of a tank. It was between 3/8 and 1/4 when we picked it up. When I dropped the truck off I had refueled to just above 3/8 of a tank. I called and explained what we did for fueling and they credited me back for the fueling charge. The gentleman handling our pickup was efficient and professional. The truck's windshield and door windows were really dirty, it would have been a nice touch to clean them prior to pickup. The truck itself shimmied when the brakes were applied. It made for a pretty uncomfortable braking experience.Edward S.
The 1st van had little gas in it and the low tire air pressure alert was in. The gas should have been full or an explanation of why not on website. The tire pressure alert could have been anything from just air to a slow leak from a nail. Neither of which is acceptable and indicative of little to no maintenance. Second vehicle given to me had no windshield wiper fluid in it and a windshield filthy with bug kill. Again, indicative of poor vehicle maintenance and added time for the customer to deal with.Leigh P.

The drop off was outside an auto body shop. No U-Haul signs. Had to find an employee (of the body shop) to confirm that it was the right place. No good parking - just parked it half on the street and half in a driveway and handed keys off to the body shop employee - could have been anybody not even connected with U-Haul. The guy had clue so I felt it was okay, but it just seemed odd. There were no other U-Haul vehicles in front of the body shop. In fact, I first parked at the wrong business because they had a bunch of U-Haul trucks, but that was because they had rented them and were using them to haul stuff from their warehouse.John B.

When I went to pick up my reservation after they already switched it on me in the morning of what we reserved was not there I had to go with something else and it ended up being in an enclosed trailer which intern took us longer having to stop to make sure stuff was not moving around and needed an extra day and still got charged for it have not got my reservation guarantee back eitherAlice S.

Please look at your records you'll see that on Wednesday Feb 2nd-2022 your company sent me on a wild goose chase after they refused to let me use a car-dolly at the previously agreed upon location. I then had to drive 2 extra hours to arrive at the very distant Santa Rosa location. * Note: It wasn't their fault..it was your company and the dispatching systems fault. Great guyâ€"helped me with a smooth and easy drop off but I got charged an extra $15 saying the gas wasn't filled to where it needed to be. I have a photo of the gas tank showing exactly where it was when I picked it upâ€"practically on Empty and while I was putting gas I double checked the line on the meter. I have the $35 gas station transaction as proof that I pumped just minutes before dropping it off. I kept pumping the gas pump to be sure. Just sayingâ€¦Michelle G.

This store is about 1 mile from the main Uhaul location in Santa Rosa. I mistakenly went to the other location first. Both are on Santa Rosa Avenue. I didn't really pick up on the â€œKings Tireâ€ part of the order. I saw Santa Rosa Ave and clicked on that. Nothing was wrong and the place was fine. I did end up wasting time, but that's on me. If there is a way to better distinguish the two dealerships that'd be nice. The main uhaul place is set up a bit better for customers.JASON C.

All the uhaul equipment is just piled up outside unlocked. I called Sunday and no one picked up, even though the Google Maps hours said I was calling during business hours, the voice-mail was full. I went Monday at my scheduled pickup time and the office was empty, no one picked up the phone so I just took a trailer. What kind of operation is this.Wayne H.
