Christopher AshworthMost of everything thing was good except for the fact that the fuel level was below 1/4. It was at 3/16s. We filled up just about 3/16 as the contract states. The contract was confusing that it says a minimum of 1/4 but it wasn’t filled to 1/4 when we picked the truck up.

EVANS ALLISONI did have an issue with the first vehicle that was rented to me. The battery was dead, but another vehicle was available and I was offered it and used it and returned it with no issues. Overall the staff was very pleasant to work with. They were courteous, kind, and understanding and I highly recommend them and thank them for being there when I needed a vehicle in a pinch.

LARRY ALLEN GOBBLEThe truck was parked too close to the truck next to it. It made it wat to difficult to pull out. The truck was filthy, there was dert and hay all over the back. We had to sweep it out. The radio monitor didn't work, so I didn't know what channel I was on. The passenger side mirror was stuck so I couldn't see out that side as I drove! The truck ran ruff.
Cindy CarabajalHad a reservation at 7:30am,Lemon Grove location did not have the truck we reserved so they sent us out to a dealer in El Cajon. Didn't get the truck until 9am, The truck was dirty and only had 1/4 tank of gas. Took it home and filled it, on our way to our next location, the truck broke down. Waited on the side of the road from 1pm-4pm for a technician to come and look at it and say it's not drivable. Waited another 2hrs before we left the keys in the truck because we had to get home to our kids. The truck was towed around 8pm. Than we were charged almost $500 for a truck we didn't get to utilize. It was a terrible experience.

Richard MooreThe truck was dirty and the right front tire was super low. The light was on so I put air in it. No gas, so I put gas in it and it spit it back out?? I put as much as possible but wasted a lot on ground. (not sure if it was the pump or something with the truck) I called later after I dropped it off because I thought I left a box in it. They hung up on me twice so I drove over there. They could not help me because they said the truck was rented out already. I've rented several u-hauls before. They did let me keep my car there.

Ray MillerThe location was in a bad part of town. The store was primarily liquor sales. Only one person working. Not friendly or welcoming and kept making me wait while he sold liquor instead of finishing my transaction.

Charles RomanThis is a UHAUL ran out of a dirty liquor store. The owner was disorganized and went from scanning liquor to helping me with the uhaul truck- they had same employees running both- seemed shady. uhaul trucks were dirty and in terrible shape.

KEVIN KELLYI have never been so upset about service in my life. My reservation was messed with and changed 4 times. Prices and vehicles changed. I was already devasted with things in my life and to be treated with such disrespect. The truck wa filthy. I couldn't see out of the windshield. I found dried up left overs of burritos under the front seat. They charged my card with the full estimated charge before leaving the lot then changed the rate 3 times, depending who you talked to. I will never rent from Uhaul again. Piss poor service. Lousy trucks, lousy customer service. You should be ashamed of yourself to even ask for a review.

Daniel HaseltonEquipment had check engine light on and the exhaust was loud and carbon monoxide fumes were coming into the drivers cabin.m which gave us a headache and made us nauseous. The noise was so loud that we could not hear ourselves talking. The loading cab area smelled like Marijuana.

Mary TillettFix the breaks . trailer breaks stayed on. The milage price at 1.19 a mile is way out of line. By the ti.e we were done just to dump trash it cost us around $500.00. No it isnt worth it to rent from you guys again For any reason.
Lara GibsonI scheduled to pick up the truck at Happy Car Wash in El Cajon. When I got there, the truck had been "missing" for over 3 days and a missing vehicle report filed. I was able to pick up a truck 2 miles down the road. I would have been nice to know this information before hand however I received another truck within 5 minutes. Very easy pick up and drop off.

The “only” pickup location was 15 miles away from my home, so I paid for almost 40 miles when I was moving less than 5 miles away from my old place. Wtf is a safemove that costs an additional $14? There was never any mention of this until I returned the truck. I filled the truck with gas to where it was when I picked it up and still got charged more money for gas. Moving is a stressful situation under normal circumstances and this time was made worse by this BS from UHaul.

Michael MarkeeDear U-Haul Please make the vehicle available at the location I made the reservation for OR tell me in advance - not when I'm in line to get the Truck!!! Very disappointed in U-haul. Although the location I was detoured to was very good it was not the most convenient location for me and ultimately making my mileage more than I had planned on. Also, U-haul didn't inform me of the location change until I was in-line to pick up the truck, then having to go several miles down the road and exposed to more people during the pandemic - very disappointed as It was not a last minute reservation, made it several days in advance., . . Will consider different alternative next time.
