I recommend not adding something o to the order that wasn't told to the customer. I had a order setup online to pickup a truck, I did not want the safemove insurance so I didn't select it. When I went to pickup the truck the person in the store couldn't figure out how to do anything. He had the boss come out and he just remake the truck order and didn't tell me he added on the insurance. My total was 130$ over what is was suppose to be. Probably won't use the service again, that is basically theftJacob P.

Pickup of our vehicle was an extremely frustrating experience. This is a convenience store that handles U-Haul on the side. We were picking up furniture in the Appleton area and bringing it back to Green Bay. So, we were told we could pick up a truck in the Appleton area and return it at the UHaul De Pere location. The gentleman at the Appleton area location insisted the system wouldn't let him do that. At one point he folded his arms and said "I cannot help you." We finally got him to get that process done, then, he couldn't locate a key. The whole process took over an hour. It was extremely frustrating.Jerome B.
The worker was of no help. His comments when I asked him what to do with the truck were "we are just a drop off site". So when I went out to park the truck in the gas station lot I noticed a key drop box. The employee didn't even know it was there. There was just no personal touch at either end.MARK R.
The truck was not maintained very well had snow on it when I got there,balled tires, two moving dollys when I requested not to have any, and duct tape across the windshield holding the windshield seal on. Also the truck was filthy on the inside of the cab and in the backJeremiah L.

Did not know what they were doing at all. Attended to customers in mini mart first. Took over an hour to get in the truck. These guys said they were forced into renting UHaul and they don't care about the rental customers that come in. They are low priority.MATTHEW A.

Run through a gas station. The lady at counter wasn't equipped to help. She had to call rep. We did not receive the dollys paid for so rep had to redo the order. We then had to drive thirty minutes to find a location with dollys and enter another order. Total time 1-1/2 hrsJENNIFER F.
They stoled money out my bank account 1st they charged me 46 dollars for a 10 ft truck then they charged me 88 dollars 3 days later they stated I drove 78 miles witch is a total lie I only drove 20 miles total and filled the gas tank bk up but I have notified my bank today about itMelissa G.
The gas was on E. I spent 83$ to fill the tank, which was more than what I paid to rent the Uhaul. Disappointed and I want to be reimbursed, since I dropped off the Uhaul with a full tank of gas.Shanna D.
The customer service phone number I had to call was terrible!! We were supposed to pick up the truck in Freedom, after waiting on hold for 20 minutes to speak to someone, we told the guy the situation, and he was going to transfer us to another department since we couldn't do self check in for our truck, and then we got hung up on. We called back waiting on hold again for a long time, told that person the situation, and then in the mean time I created a new reservation at your Kimberly location so I could make sure a truck was available. The guy cancelled our Freedom reservation while we were driving so when he connected me with other department, the girl was so rude when we told her the situation and asked for the amount of miles we had on our previous reservation, she told us no and we chose the Kimberly location, even though the site at Freedom didn't put the keys in the truck for us for self check in. I couldn't believe how anyone could be that rude given the situation you all screwed up and we couldn't use that location where we had originally planned and needed to get the truck since people were waiting on us. I had no problems with the locations, in fact the lady at the gas station at Kimberly was so nice and apologized for the mess and made sure we got the truck and everything was taken care of. She did that with a line of 6 people waiting to check out.....I wish you customer service phone line was that decent!Katie C.
The clerk had no idea how to handle the transaction. Since it was a mini-mart he waited on numerous customers while trying to learn how to check me out. Never charged payment - regional office had to contact me several days later to find out if I had the truck.James M.

Seriously?? A mini mart with 1 employee servicing many walk-in customers/interruptions while tending to my rental....took 30+ minutes to pick up the truck, with me doing the leg work of getting the keys from the dropbox, matching them to the trucks, and returning to complete transaction. C'mon.Keith K.
We arrived promptly at 8 to pick up our rental since we had a long day a head of us. The cashier had no clue how to do a rental. It took 45 minutes! Very frustrating.Charles H.

Probably the worst uhaul pickup experience I may have ever had. The gentleman behind the counter had NO idea what was going on. He had to call someone else to â€œhelpâ€ him (which was no help, I had a uhaul rep call me to walk me through the check in), and rather than helping a paying customer all the way to the end of their transaction, he insisted on stopping helping me every time someone else came into the store. What should have been a quick in and out ended up taking almost 45 minutes. Unimpressed.Courtney D.
