Service was great. Had trouble with the app for a self checkout so the clerk was very helpful. Location was a bit sketchy. Again, I was surprised by the upcharge for mileage.

The U-Haul app is terrible. It kept freezing and crashing. It delayed my pickup and drop/off by about an hour. Awful experience. You really should do better.

I was scheduled to pick up a van at a different location and was not notified of a change of location. At the other location, the equipment I ordered was not available and that equipment (dolly and blankets) was critical for what I needed to do (to not have to carry a heavy piece of equipment for a long distance and transport a large furniture piece without scratching it). So I was not able to pick up the van until about 45 minutes after I was set to and what I ordered was not available causing me to put strain on my body, damaged the furniture I was picking up due to scratches from not having blankets, and be late in picking up the furniture that I required the van for transport.

I arrived to a rude employee who walked away when I asked questions. There was a check engine light on which he didnt care about when i told him and he told me to drive it anyways. The U-Haul was absolutely filthy in the cab there was mud everywhere sticky stuff on the wheel and cupholders and trash on the floor. The floor in the back was covered in dirt and garbage and there were dents on the vehicle that the pictures did not show, so I made disputes. When I went to return the vehicle the person behind the counter got mad at me and said that I should not have made disputes because he doesn't know what to do. He said I can't return the vehicle because there are disputes. I also want to point out I rented a vehicle for a full 24 hours and brought it back within five or six hours and when I returned it there were two men waiting for a 10-ft truck that they had rented. There was no other 10-ft truck on the property. If I didn't come back to return it early they would not have had a truck. Also, because The dispute issue occurred he wasn't able to finalize the return before i left and he gave the keys to the other people who were waiting and they took the U-Haul. Which was still rented in my account. I would say the best way to improve this experience for the next customer would be to tell them to go to a different U-Haul.

Everything was great except for a strong odor inside the truck that never went away. I thought it smelled like gas, my son said it was the rubber mat...IDK Service was quick and friendly. The location was very convenient. I would go there again.

The person at the counter is rude and he is always in his phone watching video or on video phone call. This is my third time renting in this location and Inwill never use that location again.

The drop off location was a little confusing. There were not great signs about where to bring the truck and the staff was somewhat rude and did not want to answer many questions. I left feeling worried that we had not properly returned the truck.

I reserved a 15’ truck along with a hand truck and 2 dozen furniture pads. When I arrived to pick up the equipment the guy said they didn’t have a hand truck and only “a few” furniture pads. I made my reservation weeks in advance. I’m not sure if I was still charged for the equipment I wasn’t provided.

I waited over 30 minutes as the owner was late. The truck was given to me with 10 miles to empty and the dolly I reserved was not at the location so I was sent to another location. I paid for this service and had to spend over an hour of my time fixing other peoples mistakes. Poor service and unacceptable and nothing was done to fix the issue. If I reserve equipment with the truck rental it should have been there I shouldn’t have to go on a wild chase for the rest of the supplies needed as a made a reservation to avoid things like this and then was told there was no additional equipment on my reservation, when im reading my reservation and can see what I ordered. I don’t understand where the disconnect is. This was a horrific experience.

I reserved to pick up my truck at 8am. I choose the online option for pick up. The store didn’t open until 8:30am therefore I could not get the keys to the truck until then because they did not have a lock box outside. I was disappointed that they would allow me to make a 8am reservation if I couldn’t access the truck until 8:30am

The vehicle needs maintenance, the location of the furtniture pads was not in the vehicle and the store attended had us take them to the truck and when we returned the truck we had to bring the furniture pads back inside the store.

The man at the desk didn’t seem to have any idea how to go about the process of giving us the key to the truck. We also ordered additional items and they did not provide them to us.

I paid for a dolly and it was not in the truck . When I asked the counter person she said that they only had one and seem uninterested in helping me. I went back with my boyfriend and he asked them to take it off the bill, after he told us to go look for the dolly in other trucks. He said he had to call to take it off the bill, and when we pressed him is when he did it on the computer. Will not be using this location ever again, and will not be recommending it!

We are frustrated with our experience today. We got a text less than an hour before our pickup time letting us know that the pickup location had been changed to a different location. The original location would have allowed us to use the self-service mobile app to check in and pickup our vehicle. Instead, we were sent to a busy gas station farther away from our original location which added mileage to our trip, where we had to go inside and wait in line to be helped. The person working was on the phone and it was unclear whether or not they were speaking to us or the person on the phone. When we got the van, we immediately noticed it smelled like marijuana inside. The tire pressure light was on as well as an alert for an oil change being needed. Because of this, we couldn’t bypass to the odometer to view the original mileage on the vehicle at pickup and have no way of knowing if the mileage we were charged for is accurate. We had to then drive the van somewhere to add air to the tire, adding more mileage we shouldn’t be charged for in addition to us having to pay to add air to the tire. It is also unsafe to have us driving a vehicle that needs an oil change, especially as there is no cutoff on how many miles you are allowed to drive the van. After driving it off the lot, we noticed several large cracks in the windshield and lots of trash behind both of the seats. This vehicle should have been checked more thoroughly before we were allowed to pick it up. We also drove by the original pickup location on our way to the second pickup location which not only proved that it was a farther destination, but we were able to see that there were plenty of vehicles of all sizes available so there was no valid reason for our pickup location to have been changed in the first place.

BEWARE: Owner is very rude and unprofessional! No one should yell at their customers. I parked my car in the front not thinking it would be a problem while I used the Uhaul. He called me screaming telling me I should Not have parked my car there because I’m not a customer. I guess he doesn’t consider Uhaul customers his customers. I quickly apologized and told him I didn’t know he then said I need to have someone move my car ASAP or he was going to have it towed because it’s private property and I can’t leave my car there. I had only been gone with the Uhaul 20 mins. In fear of my car being towed I rushed back “adding mileage” to my trip just to park my car on the street and off of “his property.” As a business owner the correct way to avoid this would have been to tell someone before hand. There are no signs outside that say “Uhaul Customers don’t park here”. There is a sign that says “Customer Parking Only” I will NEVER rent from this Uhaul location ever again! I will tell my friends, coworkers, family & social media the same. I wish had recorded the incident when I went to move my care he immediately started a verbal dispute and told me I could cancel my Uhaul. How could I cancel something that I already charged for and had began using. My father got out the Uhaul and all of sudden he calmed down. I’m not sure if it was because I was a female and in his culture women don’t have rights but I would not have talked to an animal let alone a human being in the manner he did all because of misunderstanding with parking. You would have thought I stole something from his store. I normally deal with the location on Academy Ave where they are pleasant and respectful I will go back to them if I I ever need a Uhaul.

Canceled my reservation twice then when I finally got my uhaul I had to evict a homeless man living in the back of the truck and had to throw cardboard down on the dried up vomit.

Overall the experience was good. However, the passenger side mirror needs to be tightened or replaced as it is not secured in a way to avoid it shifting while driving. This is a major safety issue when driving on the highway as the mirror does not stay in place and you cannot see.

Stop charging these extreme rates for mileage. I was charged more than double the quote for going slightly over mileage! Insane to pay that much for a Uhaul for 5 hours! I will never rent with Uhaul again. The location was extremely slow, he kept taking other customers that walked in basically making me wait until the store was empty. As a convenience store there are constantly people walking in, just a waste of time and moneu!!

The man who is at the store and processes the Uhaul is very friendly, kind, and helpful. This is our second time using a Uhaul from this location and we will continue to do so if needed from KH Mart because of him. In terms of the actual van that we received, it was well maintained but the customers before us left all sorts of trash in it, including used face masks and stuff. Please clean up after yourself! It's disrespectful and no one else should have to clean up after you.
