I never saw a real person, I had to hook up, test and verify that the equipment was operating by myself. Although it all worked out, testing lights by yourself is difficult and time consuming at best. One tire I had to air up twice, once right after I picked up the equipment.Vance P.

I made the mistake of reserving the wrong truck online, when I got to the location and realized my mistake, a quick phone call and Christina (sorry if I misspelled) got me sorted out, ANDsaved me over $70!!!Tyler G.
1st..the location I picked the trailer up from was fine. This was not the problem at all. Now the problems were many...to many to probably fit into this space...YOUR WEB SITE IS CRAP !! I could not get through it very well at all.. I know I am not alone in this....as when I was at the original location...there were at least 6 count them ,6 people in front of me who also complained about your site....all were very disgusted and expressed it to the location employees who really have other g to do with your I. T. department...who really all need to be FIRED... The site is way to complicated .... way to long ...to many emails and text... resection don't mean a thing ???? This needs to be corrected !! You need to shorten the process. considerably.. My time is as valuable as yours and you are being paid for this....I however am not... Please make this way shorter and MUCH MUCH easier to navigate... !! Possibly you could let the store itself make the reservations and not so.e ,880 number who really seems to have no clue what the inventory is at the location they make the reservation at....??? Also the location whenever possible should be left up to the customer and not the phone operator who even though your computer may say a location is the closest ??? REALLY HAVE NO CLUE... When you go by zip codes you really have no idea what location is closest...as most maps goes from post office to post office and do show the actual location of the customer. In reality DOES NOT GIVE YOUR PEOPLE THE ACTUAL LOCATION OF THE CUSTOMER....SO HOW WOULD THEY KNOW WHAT STORE IS THE CLOSEST TO THE CUSTOMER ??? TOTALLY VERY BAD POLICY !! NOW FOR MY BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH YOUR YOUR PROCESS......IF YOU HAVE TO CHANGE A PICK UP LOCATION... PLEASE INFORM THE CUSTOMER BEFORE HE GETS TO THE LOCATION... AND NOT 5 MINUTES BEFORE PICK UP....YES THE CALLED ME AND LEFT A MESSAGE SHORTLYLY BEFORE I ARRIVED AT THE ORGINAL LOCATION ...YOY NEED TO PUT IN AS MUCH EFFORT TO ACTUALLY TALK TO THE CUSTOMER AS YOU EXPECT THE CUSTOMER TO DO WHEN THEY ARE TRYING TO RENT YOUR EQUIPMENT !! YOU DONT ACCEPT PHONE MESSAGES TO MAKE THE RESERVATION... IF YOU CHANGE ANYTHING ON THE ORGINAL ORDER... AS THE CUSTOMER DOES TO REACH SOMEONE WHEN RENTING YOUR EQUIPMENT.....VERY SHODY WAY TO DO BUSINESS AND CERTAINLY MAKES THE CUSTOMER FEEL NOT APPRECIATED...AT ALL...I THINK THE ATTITUDE AT UHAUL NEEDS TO BE EVALUATED...IT SEEMS THAT YOU THINK BECAUSE YOU ARE A LARGE AND KNOW CO.PANY THAT YOU CAN JUST TAKE YOUR CUSTOMERS FOR GRANTED ?? As of this time... I would never recommend your company to even an enemy... I had to drive so far to pick up and return the equipment....I FEEL LIKE YOU OWE ME MONEY.... NOT ONLY FOR THE HASSLE, THE GAS...ALSO MY TIME... YOUR TIME IS NOT THE ONLY PEOPLE'S TIME THAT IS VALUABLE !! THE CUSTOMERS TIME AND EFFIRT IS ALSO... SO IN REVIEW.. I FEEL AS YOUR TOTAL RENTAL PROCESS NEEDS TO BE REVIEWED AND CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE....AT THIS TIME I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND UHAUL... TO ANYONE.... EVEN MY WORST FRIEND....I HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL...and I am looking for changes in the future...so I will not have to use a different company... WE WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE A 10' VAN, BUT WERE TOLD WE WERE GOING TO BE IN A 10' BOX TRUCK INSTEAD, AND THE PICK UP WOULD BE AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION. I WAS TOLD THE NEW LOCATION WAS ONLY 2 MILES UP THE ROAD, BUT IN FACT IT WAS MUCH FARTHER THAN 2 MILES. WHEN WE ARRIVED TO PICK UP THE 10' TRUCK, WE ENDED UP IN A 12' TRUCK. THE TRUCK WAS DIRTY AND WAY TOO BIG FOR OUR NEEDS. HOWEVER, ON TOP OF THAT, AND PROBABLY THE WORST, THE AIR CONDITIONER DIDN'T WORK AND THERE WAS A HEAT INDEX OF 107 DEGREES IN TEXAS! I DO WANT TO POINT OUT THAT OUR POINT OF CONTACT PERSON WAS EXTREMELY NICE, BUT THAT DIDN'T MAKE UP FOR THE REST OF THE DEBACLE.Michael H.

I would liked to have Uhaul personnel on site for people like me that are not as smart as my smart phone. Overall everything was easy after I figured out why my phone kept saying memory was full and it took me 20 minutes to finish my return. This location had a better selection than the one walking distance from my house.richard D.

A mess from the start. Had erroneous information on my contract, gave me different equipment then requested, truck was filthy, had quarter of a tank of gas when contract stated it has half. Just a bad overall experience. Uhaul in general is now questionable.Jesus R.

The guy who helped me was good but the location lot was tiny and had a lot of u-haul equipment and other vehicles in it. Was raining when I can back and had to park in a mud hole. Got a car hauler One of the ratchet straps for the tire had been cut off and did not notice till I pulled it out of the ratchet. Had to make do with some straps I boughtBryan D.
It's hard for me to work the website to request a tow dolly it was an hour process and a pain in the ass probably won't go through uhaul until this is fixedBradley C.

We called to make sure someone was there. They said they were. We fit there and no one was there. We called again and they said to drop the trailer anywhere. This was 6'x12' tra striker and both of us together couldn't lift it. We had to call a third time to get someone there to help. It was not a good business and we won't use them again.Elizabeth B.
