I was I overcharged. They put 50 miles on my receipt when I only went 31. The speedometer doesn't work so where did you even get this number. Ac didn't work, check engine light was on and I didn't even receive credit for the extra gas I put back in after.Marcus H.
Check air pressure in tires. HAVE alternate connections with uhaul. (I could not get a truck when l arrived because the system was down and I was charged an extra day because I did could not get a truck until later. I then had to take the truck back to have air put in the tire.Janice H.

Truck was dirty, one of the headlights was out and when I returned the truck the supervisor was there and he was super rude and very disrespectful. We got into a altercation because he thought I was someone else that supposed to been dropped a truck off. I also seen that I was over charged as well.Asia J.

Very unprofessional, they gave me the wrong truck so after I left the regional manager called and asked me to come back to switch trucks and I was half way to my destination. I would never rent a truck from uhaul again it's a big inconvenience and it's overpriced.Kristina Y.

I rented a Uhaul and furniture pads. Upon pickup I was told the furniture pads weren't available, yet they still charged me for them. And three days later, a completely new charge was applied to my account saying I drove a ridiculously large amount of mileage that was completely false. There is some fraudulent activity happening here and I am still trying to get my money back! 0/10 recommend! Worst experience and while I have been trying to get in contact with customer service for the past 24 hours, I finally received an email back that disregarded everything I mentioned with no resolution in sight! Never again and I'll be sure to report this to the Better Business Bureau!Shanese S.

I am requesting a call back, the charges were doubled ans the vehicle wasn't inspected apparently. I fueled it pass the requirement and the insurance charges were doubled and the mileage as well. This is about where I picked up the truck it has nothing to do with u-haul which sucks. They double book the truck I had to wait. I tried calling u-haul and I was on hold forever and never got thru and now you guys owe me money and there has been no communication to me on how I will receive my money. Clean, not Happy l put gas n van they said it wasn't enough. Its ridiculous to charge 4 the gas and then add a service fee. I've never rented a uhaul item before and with this it will b my last time. So angry !!!!!!Shirley S.
The person who checked me out for the Uhaul disappeared when it was time for me to check the van in Someone else who was there didn't know how to work the computer so which led to me not receiving anything type of proof that I brought the vehicle in a hour in a half early and didn't get in touch with me with anything. The person that rented the van to me was very rude even after I explained to him that I was having difficulty with my move due to the landlord locking the fence plus I got charged a fuel fee even though being able to access a gas station is a nightmare because all the pumps were down at one gas station and the other, all the pumps were being used. There is slso a lot of construction in that area which holds up traffic. Overall, the customer service was awful. I will never use this place again for a rentalKimberley J.

The vehicle smelled, Heavily, of cigarette smoke. There was a $20 charge for returning it after hours but tis was Never explained to me. In fact, I required about but Never received a contract or receipt at the time of rental. I'll likely Never use this dishonest and poorly maintained location again. My frustration is not with this location but the company. I would never recommend Uhaul to anyone! I filed multiple complaints, got a claim number of 2235419 and guess what? A supervisor/manager never had the decency to call me back. I hate that I had to give this company my money. If the company hadn't put me in a last minute jam I would have gone elsewhere.VICTOR J.

I would say make sure everything is explain to a first time renter in writing or verbal. The customer needs to understand the terms which I didn't. I brought the truck back in time but did not know to close out with my phone. Plus I did not know if truck had insurance I called back to ask about thatOmri H.

My Personal recommendation to improve service for the next customer is to Terminate the Agent Licensing Agreement with the Joy Inc. location, sever all ties with this entity regardless of the revenue they may be generating. This location's appearance is shabby, dilapidated, and inconsistent with the image of reputable Agents the portray the appropriate polished and professional image of the Uhaul brand. The personnel stated to me that they don't check their voice messages, thereby, failing to not only return my call after leaving a voice message, but failing to render the basic courtesy and level of customer service the the public deserves. The Proprietor's Sister, Chalonda, is rude, unprofessional, and obnoxious. She REFUSED to do a thorough and complete walk around vehicle inspection as I am accustomed to receiving from Agents, and she became belligerent when I insisted and refused to adjust the vehicle inspection ticket in order to correct the gas to accurately reflect what was in the truck at the time when I picked up the vehicle. When I informed her that I would be calling the Regional Office and speaking with a Manager, she told me she didn't give a damn, to call, because nothing would happen anyway, and that I could leave the truck and get the Hell off their property. I have been been doing business with Uhaul for over 30+ years and I have never been disrespected and mistreated and handled like this. I called the Regional Office and spoke with Keairra and she informed me that she was aware of several complaints from customer on this particular lady as well as this location, and I was shocked that nothing had happened to reprimand them and teach them a lesson. Keairra stated that this lady at Joy was defiant and would not adhere to anything she instructed to do. I called again on Saturday and the Regional Customer Service Rep called the location and told them not to check in the vehicle nor charge our Credit Card and and 5 minutes later, they charged our Credit Card for 69.00 after lying and saying she did a walk around. Clearly this Agent and his staff feel entitled to say and do whatever they please. It is my recommendation that Uhaul should Cease and Desist from doing any and all business with this location as soon as possible as they are doing more damage to the Uhaul brand verses the revenue they are generating. I personally am going to do my part to insure none of the friends, family and sphere of influence rents from this location. I was happy to speak with Jim the Regional Manager who apologize for what I went through and made satisfactory concessions to amend the situation. I hope swift and appropriate actions are taken .
