ethel gowdyThe owner directed me to park in a spot it apparently wasn’t the right spot he proceeded to yell at me and at me ignorant multiple times. I told him he was not going to talk to me like that he said I didn’t scare him and I told him I didn’t desire to scare he just wasn’t go to yell and call me ignorant. Used Uhaul for years for many moves this is by first the worst experience. I am sorry I didn’t park it the right location I thought he pointed to but no one should be allowed to yell and call anyone ignorant

ANDREW WASHINGTONThe store owner said “his wife does all the U-Haul stuff and she’s not here.” He had absolutely no idea what he was doing to get me my rental. He closed his off, drove him to get his wife, he then showed back up without here. My rental was for 8am.. by the time he got back I didn’t get my rental until after 9am. I was also never told if the gas is not EXACTLY back to where it was when you had it U-Haul will charge you the most UNREAL price ever for the gas. They are charging $112 to get the tank from 1/4 back to 1/2 a tank of gas. STAY AWAY AND DO NOT USE U-HAUL THEY WILL CON YOU!!!!

ANTHONY DICKERSONNo complaints about this location. They were excellent and very helpful with my overall experience. I was only disappointed that I reserved Thursday morning and was told I would have an available truck for Saturday morning at a different location. My location was switched Saturday morning and this added 14 miles to my trip and was a significant inconvenience for me. I want to reiterate Johnny’s garage was very helpful and did what they could to help with this last minute change.

Robert PritchettOn the way to North Caroline had a tire to blow out on the trailer had to wait over two hours for the service provider to replace the tire. I was only hauling a motorcycle. Then the lights on the trailer didn’t work only had a right side tail light, had to drive around 250 miles using the emergency flashing lights on . I checked the plug in from the truck to the trailer it was plugged into the truck good. The truck was a U Haul and it was a newer one.

Tiera ProvoThe vehicle was very dirty on the outside and inside. The smell in the vehicle was atrocious. The next customer should not have to deal with the aroma in that vehicle. Also they should not have to deal with a filthy vehicle. Please clean your vehicles before you rent them out. You can always give a discount to the customers that are subjected to that kind of treatment.

Blanche BorsTruck was never supposed to be rented for one way rental. Truck had 158,000 miles. We rented it for a 200 mile trip one way. Vehicle dies on us 12 times. Would go into shut down mode if driven over 50 mph. Steering was shot. Truck cargo area had trash and dirt. Trip was a nightmare.

LARRY MASTERSONOne way rental. U-Haul 800 reservations changed my pick up and drop off locations. Did not get advised of this until the morning of pickup and limited time! NOT GOOD! Had me dropping my trailer in Westville, FL 18 miles from my destination DeFuniak Springs when a U-Haul location is 1 1/2 miles away from my destination in Defuniak Springs. Johnny's garage person told me I could drop anywhere no problem and no drop off charge. Luckily I called 800 U-Haul to double check this and they told me it would have been extra charge to drop other than Westville! I had to make two calls to U-Haul, 2nd of which was to scheduling in Mobile, AL to get this changed so no extra charge to me to drop at my destination! ALSO, when Johnny's garage hooked my trailer up to my truck and I could tell the left rear tandem tire was very low air pressure, I checked with my air gauge and would not even read! Guy told me to pull up and he'd put air in it and I said no! This tire must have a nail in it, it is flat! Then I waited for them to change the tire! I never had a problem with you all before! BTW, I will be renting a 26 ft truck this coming Saturday a.m. in Montgomery at a different location thank goodness, or better not get changed like U-Haul did this time. I will be calling to be sure!
Stan HoffmanI needed to sweep out the cargo area. The cab had some trash from previous driver. Though, they had to find this truck quickly as a remedy for not having the 15' I originally ordered. The staff were professional, courteous, and processed my pick up fast.
