One way rental. U-Haul 800 reservations changed my pick up and drop off locations. Did not get advised of this until the morning of pickup and limited time! NOT GOOD! Had me dropping my trailer in Westville, FL 18 miles from my destination DeFuniak Springs when a U-Haul location is 1 1/2 miles away from my destination in Defuniak Springs. Johnny's garage person told me I could drop anywhere no problem and no drop off charge. Luckily I called 800 U-Haul to double check this and they told me it would have been extra charge to drop other than Westville! I had to make two calls to U-Haul, 2nd of which was to scheduling in Mobile, AL to get this changed so no extra charge to me to drop at my destination! ALSO, when Johnny's garage hooked my trailer up to my truck and I could tell the left rear tandem tire was very low air pressure, I checked with my air gauge and would not even read! Guy told me to pull up and he'd put air in it and I said no! This tire must have a nail in it, it is flat! Then I waited for them to change the tire! I never had a problem with you all before! BTW, I will be renting a 26 ft truck this coming Saturday a.m. in Montgomery at a different location thank goodness, or better not get changed like U-Haul did this time. I will be calling to be sure!Stan H.
I needed to sweep out the cargo area. The cab had some trash from previous driver. Though, they had to find this truck quickly as a remedy for not having the 15' I originally ordered. The staff were professional, courteous, and processed my pick up fast.Stuart N.

They canceled my reservation because I did not arrive at the time for pickup without even trying to call me. We were travelling from NC to Alabama and got stuck twice in traffic for over an hour total.John R W.
We made reservations for Prattville & had to go pickup our truck in montgomery. Before picking up the truck, this is what happened the beginning of the day. I received notification that I would have to pickup 33 miles in Electic , which is uncalled for. When I called the lady on the phone she was very nice and did find a truck in montgomery. For good customer service thus should have happened. 1) an associate should have gone and picked up the truck, brought it to Prattville not the customer 2) we picked up, in montgomery had to drive back to Prattville 12 miles to load, which over charged my mileage. When I turned in the truck. I should not have been charged $5.47, because I had to go 12 miles to pickup. I should get a refund. 3). They did not have my equipment available, I had to use a lighter weight utility dolly, there was not an appliance dolly available or the furniture dolly squares. We have rented before from uhaul but have never and I mean never have had this bad of an experience.John H.

This was the 3rd location provided to us by Uhaul. The owner was wonderful, but the location was not convenient to us - not Johnny's fault. Pickup process itself was quick and easy. VERY DISSATISFIED with the The reservation process and consistency. Spent over an hour on the phone - twice - to be told nothing of value (though the scheduler tried). I made my reservation on 5/13 and reconfirmed it a week later and 2 days prior, yet â€œday ofâ€ everything was a mess 2525Eastern Blvd Montgomery did not provide what was promised.Renee M.

I am asking for a refund. The truck which was rented developed a leak and we were forced to pay our workers for the time period that it took U-Haul to come out and fix the problem. It took about two hours for the completion of the U-Haul truck to be fixed and it started leaking again. It was a stressful day due to this event. I have never had this experience with U-Haul before. The intake person was very respectful, how ever the gentleman who came out to fix the property made it more complicated than it should have been.TERRENCE B.

The woman that was behind the desk was amazing and very helpful. But... When I was picking up the trailer the young guy not only was he racist saying 'their cracker asses need to go somewhere else to get a trailer' but he was trying to pick a fight with my brother in law. When we dropped off the trailer the older guy had major attitude. He was just standing there not giving me any direction so when I asked him where he wanted me to drop the trailer he seemed immediately pissed and started yelling at me. I have used uhaul for 20 years and if I ever use uhaul services again it will definitely not be at this locationmichelle W.

This location rented me a vehicle that was not able to safely operate a vehicle transport that Ihad arranged to pick up from them after the truck had been loaded. Then, I was told that I had been charged for the transport when I had not been charged and so when I went to pick up the transport at another location they sent me to, I had to wait 2 hours to be told that I had not been charged and had to be charged at that location. Soon after I was issued the transport, we found that there was no wiring on the back of the truck to allow for the brake lights on the transport to function properly, making it impossible to drive the transport without risk of receiving a traffic violation. Communication needs to be improved between customers and reservation desk.HAROLD F.

After speaking with the Uhual Center in Birmingham Al to book a reservations, I asked to is the uhual truck for a total of three days. Despite, A total payment that was 237.00 Dollars, Uhual call and emailed me the next day stating I needed to return the uhual and it was for one day. I was only picking up the uhual and returning the uhual about 87 miles from montgomery( one way) the representative understood my wishes. Once I called to speak with someone concerning this issue, I was told I need to return the product and I will need to pay over 80 dollars extra for the days including the insurance I had on the vehicle. My experience was Horrid, I will never recommend this company to anyone, Amazing the guy located in lanett al look into this issue and noticed I was charged the correct pricing. How generous of him when I spoken with supervisors that were rude and demanded I return the uhual immediately considering it was paid for for three days. They were not polite and apparently lacked knowledge of your company policy and pricing. Also, When I first picked up the vehicle the gas stated 1/4 on the paper work, Well it was on E and I took photos of this truck that wasn't correct on paperwork. I was charged the price of an auto transporter ($286) for a tow dolly, instead of $142 as quoted online. Adhering to the rep's advice, I drove 2400 miles to my destination, turned in my truck and filed a complaint to mitigate this. Now I'm told that Tow Dollies are cost the same as Transporters and that it's impossible to be reimbursed. #Its2018 #AnythingIsPossibleLAWRENCE M.
