I am asking for a refund. The truck which was rented developed a leak and we were forced to pay our workers for the time period that it took U-Haul to come out and fix the problem. It took about two hours for the completion of the U-Haul truck to be fixed and it started leaking again. It was a stressful day due to this event. I have never had this experience with U-Haul before. The intake person was very respectful, how ever the gentleman who came out to fix the property made it more complicated than it should have been.

The woman that was behind the desk was amazing and very helpful. But... When I was picking up the trailer the young guy not only was he racist saying 'their cracker asses need to go somewhere else to get a trailer' but he was trying to pick a fight with my brother in law. When we dropped off the trailer the older guy had major attitude. He was just standing there not giving me any direction so when I asked him where he wanted me to drop the trailer he seemed immediately pissed and started yelling at me. I have used uhaul for 20 years and if I ever use uhaul services again it will definitely not be at this location

This location rented me a vehicle that was not able to safely operate a vehicle transport that Ihad arranged to pick up from them after the truck had been loaded. Then, I was told that I had been charged for the transport when I had not been charged and so when I went to pick up the transport at another location they sent me to, I had to wait 2 hours to be told that I had not been charged and had to be charged at that location. Soon after I was issued the transport, we found that there was no wiring on the back of the truck to allow for the brake lights on the transport to function properly, making it impossible to drive the transport without risk of receiving a traffic violation. Communication needs to be improved between customers and reservation desk.

The movers I'm moving help are not reliable ( work you relax) they texted 45munutes before to say they were going to be 3hrs.late.Aldo afforablemovers called my phone at 5 in the morning I had called them first before I booked the work you relax and his prices were really lengthy which is fine because there are so many other choices in the site now he keeps calling and texting and harrrassing me I don't even know him I only talked to him one time .

After speaking with the Uhual Center in Birmingham Al to book a reservations, I asked to is the uhual truck for a total of three days. Despite, A total payment that was 237.00 Dollars, Uhual call and emailed me the next day stating I needed to return the uhual and it was for one day. I was only picking up the uhual and returning the uhual about 87 miles from montgomery( one way) the representative understood my wishes. Once I called to speak with someone concerning this issue, I was told I need to return the product and I will need to pay over 80 dollars extra for the days including the insurance I had on the vehicle. My experience was Horrid, I will never recommend this company to anyone, Amazing the guy located in lanett al look into this issue and noticed I was charged the correct pricing. How generous of him when I spoken with supervisors that were rude and demanded I return the uhual immediately considering it was paid for for three days. They were not polite and apparently lacked knowledge of your company policy and pricing. Also, When I first picked up the vehicle the gas stated 1/4 on the paper work, Well it was on E and I took photos of this truck that wasn’t correct on paperwork. I will never rent uhual again.

I was charged the price of an auto transporter ($286) for a tow dolly, instead of $142 as quoted online. Adhering to the rep's advice, I drove 2400 miles to my destination, turned in my truck and filed a complaint to mitigate this. Now I'm told that Tow Dollies are cost the same as Transporters and that it's impossible to be reimbursed. #Its2018 #AnythingIsPossible

The Uhaul was extremely damaged. It was dirty inside and out. I have phots. The dealers were not prepared for my arrival and it was a slow process.

Johnny's garage did not have the have the dolly that I had requested with my original order. I was instructed to go to and another Uhaul store to pick up the dolly. I was also refunded for the dolly. When I got into the store on the Eastern Blvd both of the associates were on their personal cell phones and the one that assisted me took a personal phone call not once but twice. He also continuously text on his phone. He was not knowledgeable about the equipment and did want to assist me into getting the dolly into my car. I also did not get the discount which I was supposed to get with the truck rental. By far the worst customer service I have had in a while.

I liked everyone. However, I found out after. that I was allowed 30 day free storage, didn't get. I found out, my truck was under someone else's name. My name was on the truck I was suppose to get. Don't know if I was compensated, or have a partial refund. But I give the people 100% work for Uhaul, & their customers. SOng on Youtube; Soldiers & Jesus, God Bless America Again, Save the Country, Deck of Cards by FLOM, Not for Sale Mike Combs HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

My original request was approved to pickup in Prattville AL. Then i got changed to pickup in Montgomery AL.

I am highly disappointed in the price I paid for using the equipment for the time I had it. No one told me I could rent the equipment at a cheaper price. I guess the more you can charge a customer the better for your business. If need a service of this kind in the near future I will not choose U Haul, simply because I wasn't offered an option of more reasonable rates. I called customer service in reference to the price, because I assumed I would receive monies back if I returned the equipment before it was due back. The customer service representative could only offer an apology, well that didn't help me I was out of money for a two day rental and I wasn't told I was renting the equipment for two days nor was I asked if I needed the rental for two days. The price I paid was way too much.

Owner was mean and unreasonable. We had already pre-paid and when we arrived at his location, (3 locations later), he would not release the equipment to us unless we paid him even after showing paid receipt. Took about an hour on the phone with U Haul to straighten this out.

The problem that I had was not in picking up the rental but it was the online booking process and customer service at the 800 number. I booked online a day prior to my pickup and I was allowed to choose the location that I wanted to pickup at. At no time in the booking process was I notified that the location I selected, was closed. I arrived the next morning ahead of time to pickup the rental only to discover that the UHAUL location was no longer there. I mmediately call the 800 number because I was pressed for time and needed to rental to make deliveries for Charity. The 800 number informed me that the location I selected was a suggestion and not set in stone. That was the most idiotic response that I have EVER HEARD. I work in IT, so I understand the importance of updating info on a website. Furthermore, why would the website provide a reservation confirmation if the location I selected was tentative. While trying to get assistance on the phone, I received a text from the location that was 10+ miles from my current UHAUL where I should now pickup my rental. On the way to pick up the rental, there were 4 other UHAL locations that I stopped by and could have easily been routed to but was not. Still on the phone, I was transferred to another support person and I have to re-give her all the information that I had provided to the first person. She was very unaccommodating and I asked for a manager to be compensated for my inconvenience ans I was told that there was not one. If I don't hear back from someone, I WILL NOT BE USING UHAUL again and I will inform all my fiends, associates, and business colleagues to so the same!!!!

You told me to go to the Eastern Boulevard location 15 minutes away from this location for pick up. No one ever mentioned Johnny's Garage till I got to the Eastern Boulevard location. On top of that I was unaware that I had a set time to pick up truck or could possibly lose it, I had a very important meeting that morning and was running late for an apparent 10 AM pick up that I never set to begin with.

The manager that was on duty was very rude and disrespectful toward me because of the price uhaul gave me online and I purchase the truck. He was telling me I couldn't have the truck for the price that was given and he made me wait till his manager or when I called uhaul to leave me get the truck. I will not recommended anyone to this location at all and he need to be handle for the way he treats his customers. He even told me that the truck ready after uhaul contact him and told me o leave his business. I don't appreciate the services that was given and I will not rent from uhaul again if I have to deal with someone like him again.

I had ordered a hand dolly & 2 sets of furniture covers;Johnnys closes at 12p on Saturdays, I got there at 11:10, they were busy-i didn't know until I got 110 miles away they weren't there-yur email stated I ordered them. I don't THINK i was charged for them. The people were much friendlier than the drop-off location. the trailer was hooked up well. The personnel were much nicer than Carbondale's. to U-Haul (not any location's fault)- your website still says unlimited miles with a one-way rental, although i had enough miles,it was disconcerting to be told x-number miles & 40-cents/mile thereafter.

Although the location was not inconvenient, it was not the location I selected when I made my reservation on-line. I only learned that the location of my trailer had changed when I telephoned the location of my original reservation the day before my pick-up date and was told of the new location. I was not notified of the location change by U-Haul.
