I would recommend the location just NOT UHaul. Uhaul stressed me out so bad and they couldn't get their stuff together. Reservations were changed without my approval and they gave me the run around. Uhaul is the worst company to deal with!!Amanda G.

I rented a 10 ft. truck online and when I got there was told only a 15ft was available for 1 way. The operator at Jimmie Vickers couldn't find the drop off location I booked online on her computer so it gave me a location far away which I called to change. The operator at Jimmie Vickers said she left the drop off open. So I was able to drop it off at a closet location.Michael P.

The young Lady that helped me was friendly and so very pleasant!! She offered to park the trailer by backing up in a very close situation.. Wish I could remember her name. The day before drop off I got a text saying that I had to go to another location because they had too much equipment at theirs. I did not pay attention to it and stuck to my original contract because this place was 5 minutes away whereas where they wanted me to go was 40 minutes away and it wasn't going to happen! Although when I did drop it off, there wasn't even a mention of going to the other place so go figure.Michael C.

Have the equipment and truck reserved available at the location. Also ensured the vehicle has no maintenance issues prior to the customer picking it up. Hold up your end of the bargain and own up to the company's mistake. When an issue presents it's, that isn't the time to dispute with the customer about why you "feel" or "think" things happened. The roadside assistant Lexi was super helpful and understanding, however, this mishap caused me to spend hundreds of dollars that I do not have.Cecy T.
Business was closed that day with a sign on the door. Called the number of the business and left message I was returning the trailer. No callback was received. Called Uhaul and was given another number to call. Left message. No callback was received. I wanted someone to check the trailer strap that would not stay latched. This was one of the best U-Haul experiences we have ever had, and we've had a lot. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The truck was in terrific shape, and, immediately, turned into a safe ark when the big rains hit. Everything inside stayed dry during two days of heavy rains while moving and while waiting for us to unpack. While I don't want to have to move again, our first call will be to Jimmy Vickers when the time comes. Gracias.Dennis B.

Business told me to park in the bank parking lot next door that it would be safe and has cameras. After returning my rental and getting back to my car, it had been vandalized. Someone gouged the entire passenger side of my vehicle from the front to backashley C.

There was a computer issue with my contract. The drop off location was missing and when asked the sent me a drop off location. It was, however incorrect so I had to call again to get it fixed. When I looked at it it was 40 miles further than I expected so I had to call again as I was worried I would go over my mileage. After 30 min I was told I had 100 extra miles so I would t have to worry.Kristen B.

I did all of this online and at one point it told me to go to another location and I called said location about it and asked about keeping it for a few days. Then on the website it told me to take it to the original pickup location to return the truck and they couldn't get ahold of my number because of my phone blocking spam calls and such. I was told by another person at a different uhaul location that it would just charge me for the extra days. But it's returned and everything but there was no text or email.Patrick K.

The trailer I rented was an accident waiting to happen. There were 3 brand new tires on the trailer and one BALD tire with NO tread that was like a booby trap. We had a blowout on the highway after just 25 minutes on the road. That trailer should have never been rented to ANYONE with a tire in that condition on it. What made it worse was that I rented a U Haul trailer from the same location last year and it also had a tire issue that resulted in a flat tire !!! VERY disappointing and thank goodness no one was hurt having a blowout on a busy highway (I-95).John R.

The advertised store hours were till 11:59pm. I got there around 5pm and no one from Uhaul was there but a man from the wrecker service that shares same building called the Uhaul rep. He relayed the msg to me that all I had to do was drop off the trailer and he unhooked it from my SUV. A week later I found out Uhaul had charged me an additional 6 days! I've called numerous times but haven't gotten to speak to anyone.Mark W.
I pick up the truck at the location they provide. And go straight from own house to new house. Did provide address when renting. And then drop off at the location most close to the new house. They said i'm over 23 mile. And charge extra $9. I'm not upset about money. Just up set about u haul deceitful.Tuong V.

I have had the worst experience. I picked up a U-Haul at 6pm 6/8/22 and the vehicle had an alignment issue, it pulled significantly to the right and due to this the passenger side tire was bald on the inside. This would be high risk for tire blow out. I needed to pick up my items regardless from storage so after an hour of phone calls with U-Haul I agreed to exchange the vehicle the next morning and move all of my items over to the vehicle at the Merrit island location. I did this 6/9 and immediate realized the AC did not work. I informed that manager and was told that's just how these U-Haul trucks are and that her supervisor told her that. I was told there were no upgrades or changes they could do at their location as all the vehicles they had are only for local use. My option was to contact A THIRD pickup location, return this vehicle, and exchange for another. Which would mean moving my full load and third time and setting me even further behind on my move. At this point, I was already 1 1/2 days behind. I called customer service at 10:43am, was transferred to regional, regional transferred me to Miami without saying anything, miami transferred me to another location and that employee hung up when I stated I had been transferred 3 times. I am beyond frustrated that this is the experience I am having and that the vehicles were not properly inspected. I am driving 2000 miles across the country in a vehicle that's ac does not work. This is negligence on U-Hauls behalf for not properly inspecting vehicles. Your company allowed me to transfer my entire moving load to a new vehicle that also was not inspected. It is over 90 degrees outside and I am driving across the country in a cab that can reach over 120 degrees. My father who is traveling with me has a heat rash on both arms that I have take pictures of. I have been on hold with roadside assistance and the team stated they would call me back right away after finding a location for me to bring it in to. I received a call back 45 min later. Stated they had someone in my area and would arrive very soon. Received text driver was dispatched, waited 10 min, called and they stated U-Haul did not call them yet to authorize them to arrive. Called U-Haul back waited on hold, call took 30 to resolve. Waited 30 for service work once repaired it worked for 45 minutes and then started blowing hot air. Waited another 90 minutes for 2nd repair person, who's â€œfixâ€ also only lasted 30 minutes. I was already a day and a half behind on my trip due to the issues from U-Haul and could no longer wait for a repair person knowing the AC again would not be properly fixed. Due to this I could only drive for an hour at a time before needing to take a break to cool off and continue the drive again. Please have manager contact me to provide reimbursement for the negligence on u-hauls behalf and additional time constraint this cost me.APRIL M.
