Mike McKinleyAfter the woman working at Jimmie Vickers hooked up the trailer, I rented we tested the turn signals. The right signal was not working on the trailer. The person told me "Its ok, you are only required to have brake lights. You don't need turn signals on the trailer". I told her that I wanted a different railer with working lights and she told me "The trailer lights work there is something wrong with your truck". I knew this wasn't true so i demanded different equipment. The Uhaul person got an attitude and said "fine, I will replace the wires". After she replaced the wire harness on the trailer the lights worked just fine. You may want to tell your Uhaul representatives to not give legal advice on weather its ok to drive without turn signals.

DAVID MURRAYOur rental had roaches. We are allergic besides the fact no one wants to bring those home. We had to buy raid and try to seal all of our belongings during our move, which was highly inconvenient and stressful worried we would have bugs end up in our things.

DAVID MURRAYI reserved 3 dozen blankets, 2 Dollie’s and one furniture dolly. All I got were 5 blankets and 1 furniture dolly. I got no warning that you didn’t have the equipment to rent. You shouldn’t allow someone to reserve stuff you don’t have. This is very misleading and could cause problems with moving. Other than this, everything was perfect. Thanks.
Todd BensonUhaul has been around for quite some time and we have used Uhaul in the past to assist with a few moves, nothing major. However, this was a major move for us and we though going with Uhaul was the best decision. We soon came to regret that because a) the truck we reserved was not ready at our location of choice, b) our reservation was sent off to some make-shift dingy-sketchy place where the owner slept inside the shop- place and he did not greet us at the door. Instead, the place was locked and secure -after checking we called him and he was there just not 'opened for business.' Nonetheless, c) we were given our truck but not the two utility dollies and furniture dollies we requested. d) We were not offered a refund for the equipment we originally rented but not given. e) upon return of the truck, the lady did not confirm everything was set, she just took the keys and walked away. We were left in the dark until we received a receipt on line. Lets just say we may very well never use UHAUL again for the duration of our lifetime. How absurd was the customer service. I do not understand why UHAUL declined. We are quite disappointed and dissatisfied.

I’ve lived here on Merritt Island for YEARS and didn’t think to go there for a trailer rental. It’s a great operation/ location and great service too! Could be more findable on line maybe

sAMUEL ANDRADEWhile we have no quibble with our experience with the Jimmie Vickers operation, we were very disappointed that we had to drive 16 miles to pick up the trailer having originally requested a trailer at a location in Satellite Beach, FL. We did not find out about this change of location until the day prior to our pickup.
PETER GRIFFITHSI tried to call if you were open on Saturday, and the OGM on the voicemail did not indicate that the saturday after Tgiving you were closed. The website and google search indicated you were open. I would only suggest you update something when closed for special non-holiday occaisions. I was not prepared to return the car on-line. All worked out ok, but just a suggestion.

Tracy AllenOn the road trying to secure a trailer to make a delivery. Asked for quote. When arriving at dealer, we were up charge. Dealer stated that they aren’t made aware of price changes. Current original price placard behind dealer reflected quote over phone. When rung up, still upcharged with price increase excuse being corporate doesn’t tell us, we find out when transactions are run through. Not how I would conduct my business!.

Mark DuguayLubricate ratchet straps on tow dolly on a periodic basis. Straps were very difficult to remove due to the rachets rusted, had to spray them with silicone to get them working.
