Have vehicles gased up before pick up. Confusion on pick up day delayed the move by 40 minutes. Requested express pick up at 8. App told us we had to wait for staff to arrive at 9. Did get help from customer service for the sing in and lock box code. They told us we could leave the truck in destination town. The owner showed up and insisted we return it to the pick up location.

The truck was reserved almost a week in advance at another location that was more convenient for pick up & drop off (and had the vehicle we needed). The reservation was made for 12pm Fri - 12pm Sat for a 10' truck with a dolly & ramp. Instead we get moved to another location that was not convenient for us and had to adjust for an 11am Fri - 11am Sat reservation because of the new location's hours (even though this was difficult with our busy schedules). I also wasn't given the dolly, blankets, bungee cords, or ramp that were requested/standard, and had the location seller calling us Saturday morning to return the truck early because he double booked for the day. Plus when we went back to return the truck noone was even at the location even though we arrived just after noon. This reservation was a mess on all sides. Uhaul can do better.

Why would i get in the message that i would be charged a 20$ "convenience" fee if i return the truck with a clerk? First of all, when i booked it wasn't mentioned, and when i got the contract, it didn't mention it. It has some scam vibes. Please do better and stop with the greed and the erasure of human interaction. This is gross.

Hire some staff in head office that might have a clue on what and how to treat a customer that spends about $2500 a month at u haul. That will never happen again. Ryder will now get my business and everyone I know will no longer use u haul.

Your customer service is horrific. I was contacted 10 min before my reservation time to be told the truck was not available, and I had to drive 30 min (vs. 3min) to get the truck. I was told they would text me the location. I was not texted, and had to wait 30 min to speak to someone at the central office to find out the address I was supposed to go to. I areived there, and there was no truck. I called 3 times to the central office and the office I was supposed to rent from originally, each time to be disconnected after waiting 20+ minutes to speak to someone. The truck arrived an hour later. During this entire time I had movers booked through the UHaul site waiting at my house. In total I lost 2 hrs of their time, and had to do mos tof the moving ourselves, resulting in a back injury. I ahve requested a credit for the additional miles I was charged, for the additional gas, and for the lost time from the movers, and no one has addressed these requests at all, via email or on the phone with your "customer service" team. A $50 credit doesn't come close to covering the extra costs I incurred. Finally, I have not yet heard anyone take any responsibility for this or apologize. You should have more buffer time between customers to accomodate unexpected thinga that cause a customer to return their truck late, and should have penalties for late returns as it impacts the next person renting the truck. I have been told I will be contacted by phone numerous times, and no one has called to address these concerns. I have told EVERY PERSON WHO WILL LISTEN what a terrible experience this has been, and never to use Uhual. Your customer service is horrific.

Associate at Toy avenue was great. He took the time to explain all the details required for the rental. Additionally all the safety associated with the trailer. Answered my questions and concerns. I did not have one issue with my 3 day rental of the 6 X 12 trailer. cheers Rob

We waited 1.5 hours in the pick up location as the app did not work. Had to call the Uhaul main line fir help even though the location was supposed to open no at 9am but no one was there. The deal said we would get the truck for $170 but was charged over $200 in b addition to the $100+ for the km.

I was forced to used the 24/7 option because the office was closed when I went to pick up the truck. It took me 2 hours to figure out how to use the option and another hour to get the app to do what it is supposed to do to return the truck. I eventually found the key drop in the door and just deposited the key there without taking the photos required by the app. The app is not user friendly. Also I paid for furniture pads which were not in the truck and there was no way to get them. The app sucks big time!!! Get it right!!!

We had difficulty picking up the truck with the online pickup. It took us 1 hour to pick up the truck and it was so stressful. Uhaul even charged us an extra $18 which i do not understand what that is for. But we just had to pay it to be able to pick up the truck.
