James S.Two things: 1. Trailer door was locked and it took a while to have it unlocked. 2. Trailer electrical wiring was inoperable and had to be switched with one from another trailer.
Ramiro G.This spot was very difficult to access, poorly maintained and not, repeat not easy to get into or out of. If I had known how poor this spot was, I would have abandoned the trailer and report it stolen.

Richard A.The drop off location was in a VERY seedy location! There were a lot of homeless people in the area and I did not feel safe! The location was more of a junk yard for abandoned cars than a U-HAUL location!

Sheila C.The cup holder was coming off of the truck which is probably not their fault. However, the checking in process took about an hour each time which made me late for moving out and leave late on my move date. Also when I called I was told that I would have help loading my car on the auto transport. When I got there I was told that wouldn't be the case but they did do it. However, it seemed like the biggest inconvenience. And when they were explaining everything to me the guy complained and made remarks that would make it seem that I wouldn't be able to make it due to lack of experience. He had a rude comment for everything. I had a friend with me and the experience wasn't great.

ISAAC M.Got charged 20 dollar service fee for dropping off early on a Sunday because they had no drop off area and 10 dollars because I left two small plastic bags inside. Very rough area and charges were ridiculous. Will chose somewhere else next time.

GRANT B.The guy helped back it up but the lot was incredibly tight and difficult to maneuver. And the guy wouldn't speak to me while backing up and just used hand motions that I couldn't decipher easily.

Katherine W.The problem is with U-haul more than the location. My return was scheduled during a time when the location is closed. I was instructed by the location to leave the trailer outside of the locked gate upon return and they would get it when they open Monday. That means leaving an unsecured trailer on the street overnight. Also, I tried to return the equipment online. I couldn't get location services to work on my phone, so couldn't complete the returns. There should be a way to bypass location services. I took pictures just in case but there's no place to upload them. Finally, I was charge $20 for after-hour services I did not receive. If anything, this was self serve.

Jason L.Was overcharged for 2 days was told by a rep over phone that I won't be charged extra as the location was closed Sunday July 4 and and Monday July 5th. The location was fenced and never was told to drop off at another location! It's ridiculous how long you have to wait to talk to someone over the phone! CLAUDIA S.When I had reserved the u-hall truck, I had ordered u-hall moving blankets. When I picked up the truck they were not present and I was not charged for them, but it is something that makes moving easier.
REEVES W.recognize the customer, not let them wait as i was done. nearly 30 minutes before asked what i wanted. store opened late sigh showed open at 8am. not opened till 810 am. given guide on how to hook up the trailer i was renting and had to do it myself. to fix wait on customer not let them wait on u, open on time and hook up equip to insure its done correctly

Mary R.I was charges for extra miles, then put to work because the person who parks the truck and equipment was not there to do it. I had to park the car tow and unhook it then park the truck in a parking space and was not offered help in doing so. I'm glad I had my fiance with me to spot me or I would've been liable for damages. Smh

Laurie H.Lot to drop off uhaul was very crowded with either used or broken down cars?? No idea where to park or once I was parked then told to move no idea how to pull into that spot. So my only issue is parking.

HOLLY GOETZ H.When i arrived to pickup our trailer it was parked out on the street stuck between two moving trucks. It was raining and we were told that if we still wanted it we had to figure it out because who ever parked one of the trucks took the keys. The crank on the trailer hitch was missing or doesn't exist so I had to by myself in the rain as a 115# female move this heavy trailer by myself on a busy street because it was not in the lot. Mind you I had a reservation and it was a “guaranteed†reservation. But fine I got it figured out on my own. The trailer also didn't have a ramp, which was on the reservation and when I've rented this type of trailer from you guys before it had. However when I went to drop off the trailer at the same location I proceed to unhook the trailer in the same spot I picked it up in. I get it completely unhooked and do online checkout. The girl from inside comes out screaming at me that I can't leave it there (the spot I picked it up from where no one would help me). I let her know this is where I got it from and it was already unhooked and heavy. She said too bad and I would be charged everyday it wasn't in there lot proper. She wanted me to back it into an overcrowded lot off a busy street into a diagonal spot and I let her know I am not the best at backing up trailers in a tight spot and asked if someone could help me she said no. She also never looked up from her phone the whole time. I literally had to pay 2 homeless men across the street to help me pick it up and drag it into the spot. I would love someone to contact me about getting a full refund for my trailer. I have spent thousands of dollars through uhaul in the past as I have moved across the he country many times. And I have always had helpful people and well working equipment and this time was the exact opposite of that. I am in the hospitality industry and Bebe leave awful reviews, but man this time was really warranted.

KAYREN M.Truck was filthy, location was extremely run down and filthy. I was charged for equipment I did not receive. The customer service was bad, and the owner had an attitude the whole time. When he gave me the keys, I was given the keys and told to go find the truck myself in a giant scrap yard. Horrible experience, will not be renting again

MARIANNE H.Part of the problem is all the bs I had to go through to rent a tow dolly. I've rented a lot of equipment before, without having to do all that. The 55 mph limit u-haul puts on towed equipment is dangerous, too. I had to contend with traffic 10, 15, and more mph than that. They were pissed at my slow speed.

Florence S.The location is quite difficult to access and the rental units (both trucks and trailers) were scattered between the vehicles they had for sale and those being worked on and some that looked like just junk. But the gentleman working there was VERY nice and helpful. He was GREAT - the lot was pretty junky, but we were able to get to the tow dolly and out the driveway with little effort.
Donna L.I had the worst experience ever using your company, on the 10/1 packing. I had no choice after the no show from the company you recommended but to go with the only help available, the two guys were nothing but slow and it ended up costing me almost an extra $350 for the packing and when I arrived at Denver on 10/3. I had booked thru you the next company who was confirmed between noon and 1 pm at 1:30 I attempted several phone calls and emails with no reply again. Fortunately I found a local company to do the unloading, and it only cost me an additional $135. So needless to say I will not use your services again and will warn anyone thinking about your company unless they want to be stressed out to the max and spend $700 for movers instead of the $225 I had booked for

monica M.I was repeatedly lied to. I made the reservation online for a drop off for Sunday August 9th for a total of 11 day rental. I then got a phone call from Uhaul customer service telling me that the trailer I reserved was not available at my reserved location and would it be OK to use an alternate location that he had chose. I asked him specifically that it would be ok as long as the hours of operation was the same. He said that it was, so I agreed to the change. Upon picking the trailer up at the new location, I was informed that they were not open for business on the the day I had scheduled to return it, that I would have to return it one day later for an additional day or rental. After many attempts to contact UHaul, it took over one hour to finally speak to someone. I explained the situation and was told no problem that they would not charge me for the extra day. Now, I reviewed my credit card and I was charged for the extra day after all. I can only assume that your customer service personnel just lied to my twice just so that they could get me off the phone. I am extremely upset. I hate being lied to.

Mark P.Location is not what I choose. Price was not what I was quoted. Some other charges were brought to me for no reason, months later. Uhaul has gone from a company I respected and wanted to use to a company I will only use as a last resort.
