At the time of picking of the truck, I specifically asked if the gas tank was full and was told yes. I am pretty sure they have gas pumps so I would assume it shouldn't be so difficult. When I got in the truck, I found it was only on 3/4 a tank. I took pictures and noted how much gas was in the truck and milage left. Prior to returning the truck, I filled the tank back to where it was at the time of pick up. When I dropped it off, I was charged because the truck was not full. I clearly had pictures reflecting the tank was not full when I picked it up. The lady was extremely nice but was not able to by-pass when she uploaded the photo of where the gas was reflecting. Island Oasis clearly reflected the truck was full and it was not, leaving me stuck to pay for gas that was never used.

The guy working this location let his family use my uhaul before I picked it up. He did not adjust the fuel reading on my paperwork. The uhaul was left dirty.

Signage is needed to know that you need to go into the convenience store to get your vehicle. Also, the check engine light was on when I started the vehicle.

my original reservation number was 18200423 - was set up for the $15.00 safemove insurance they changed it to the next level safemove of $30.00 and i returned the vehicle back at 4:30 PM next day less than 24 hrs (which can be proven by the picture he had me take of odometer and witness who picked me up when vehicle was returned) but they booked it as being returned at 8:30 pm which caused me to have to pay for an extra day at $29.95. i have rented vehicles from U-haul for many years and have never had such a bad experience. my original reservation was presented to them when i arrived to pick vehicleup.

It's close to home, and they have a nice, paved area where the trucks are parked. And they're a gas station, so if you need gas when you pick up, or you need gas when you return the truck, you're set!

It was awful trying to get a uhaul to begin with. And I reserved a 15 ft truck in which was not in stock or returned back. Uhaul shouldn't let me reserve a uhaul truck that isn't even back yet or it should be verified that it will be there. Because I did not feel safe driving a 26ft truck and I value my safety. Uhaul needs to change this because I won't be using uhaul again if I can help it.

This U-Haul location is ever bad because of I want there wanna get a U-Haul one way then the guys up there I handed to my ID and this guy booked me a U-Haul with other different name and I haven't a look my receipt then when I was dropping off, I had a hard time. Only issue with this location is that there are very few slots for returning trucks, and it's especially tight for larger trucks.

We returned the U-Haul at 7:17am and no one was there that could enter us in the system so there would not be a late charge. The lady that took the truck key wrote down all the information on the back of a used cash register receipt. She told me that the person that was supposed to operate the U-Haul system would not be in until after 1:00pm. So I could not get a receipt right then at 7:17 to show that I returned the truck in time.. There was a major bad language barrier. When I receive my receipt through my email it said that I returned my truck at 8:48am so so they charged me for an extra day. I sent my wife to the return location and she arrived while I was on the phone with the U-Haul worker, another major language barrier. She explained to him the something I had just told him. He hung up on me but my wife called me so I could hear the conversation. She explained to him and he said that it does not matter it said that I returned the truck after the return time, my wife put me on speaker phone and I told him again that I returned the truck at 7:17am , he told my wife that he would call the organization and correct the issue. I heard him say that he would call them and I heard him tell my wife not to come back in their store. I call the U-Haul rental place where we picked up the truck and I explained to someone named Austin and he said that there was nothing that they could do about it.. Austin did say that if they do not return my full deposit to call him and that he would try to call the return location and see if he could talk to them. I do have a video of the location and time that I returned the truck. I do not recommend anyone to return the truck to that location I would not even rent a truck from them. U-Haul needs to discontinue use them as a location it is horrible and there is a great language barrier.

The customer service wasn't great. They did not have the U-Haul I rented in stock at the correct pick up time. We had to wait for over an hour to get the correct U-Haul. I wasn't informed of them not having the U-Haul until we went to pick up. I rent a 17' U-Haul originally. I was called the day before pickup and they asked if a 15' foot U-Haul would be okay and I said yes. Then the day of pickup they didn't even have a 15' U-Haul. All they had in stock was a 26' U-Haul. That would not work for the location I was moving to. The lady that I called was not polite or helpful. In my location there were no other U-Haul places open and I was on a time crunch and I would have appreciated more help or suggestions other than what I received which was nothing. I like U-Haul and the services they provide but I was not happy with the service I received at this location and I will never use them again or recommend this location to anyone. Very unprofessional.

I was overcharged!!!!! I took out the $15 insurance and was charged for the $45 insurance!!! Over charged on the daily rental as well!!! I had it 2 days and was charged for 3!!! Ridiculous!!

There was a homeless person staying inside back of truck. We had to throw their things out. There was chips and stuff inside truck so obviously last person didn't clean it up. We picked it up with a quarter of a tank of gas. We left it with a half tank. Drop off location was good. Oasis needs to monitor trucks as it's an area with a lot of homeless people. It's not a good place.

first they told me they didnt' have my truck, then they did, then it was all muddy inside the cab and inside the cargo area. the building inside and out was occupied with homeless people, i didn't feel threatened but not 100% safe either. I will never use that location again

Upon arriving to the location the gentleman was rude. He did not have the dolly we had reserved. I had to call an 800 number to find someone to get it, due to him going oh well. "You take or not I don't care" Along with paying extra per mile to go get said dolly. Very rude man. Upon drop of the lady was completely kind and easy to work with. It was a mess and I should have used a different location. And I'll be sure to let everyone else know this as well. Very disappointed in uhaul for allowing one of their locations to lie about inventory and allow your employees to be so rude. Very upsetting. I would reconsidered using this location for your company since everyone I have spoke to says the same thing. Please do better in keeping up with your locations and train them better.

Did not have 2 of the 3 items I needed with my rental. Told me I would get refund if u-haul was returned early but because I returned a day early minus 2.5 hours, no refund. Customer service was no help. Neither was the customer service manager on duty. As a single mom trying to move in 2 inches of snow and freezing weather, this is pretty bad. I won't use u-haul again.

It was difficult to know what to do. I thought that I was returning the vehicle to a U-Haul location. Instead, it was a mini-market with very crowded parking. I would have preferred to know a little more about the return procedure as I chose to return it to an open, physical location, during regular business hours, rather than on-line turn in. Otherwise, the van served me well and I am pleased.

The salesperson at Island Oasis 2 was professional and she answered my questions. My reservation online went smoothly. Although the truck ran well it smelled of smoke. Side door was unlocked and back door was raised when I picked truck up. Many homeless in this area could possibly be using these rental trucks. It is very sad, yet I do question any possibility of drug use or any exposure for a customer. My personal experience was good overall.

I schedule the pickup at 2275 Spring Place Rd SE, Cleveland TN. 37323. Upon arrival they did not have the truck that I reserved so they sent me to Island Oasis 2 on Inman St. Upon arrival to Inman, there were homeless people living around the rental trucks that was behind the gas station where the uhauls were stored. No clue that we had to go around the building to the gas station. Manager didn't ask for my license nor any other ID. Gave me key I signed and off I went. It ran well until the trip home, I could only run 45-50 mph, kept cutting out and motor was not running well. stopped 3 times for gas and only had 150 miles to make it. Barley made it home. The truck was not running well. After turning off the truck at the drop off it would start again and just left it didn't back up into a spot. Please start having the facilities to do routine maintenance on the trucks. I would appreciate a discount on this rental please. I was on a timeline and could not call for help on the side of the road. It was raining and didn't want to transfer the load to another truck. I am 61 and barley got it loaded. Please consider a discount, if you want me to refer Uhaul to family and friends. Gracias

When I returned the rental no one could check it in. Therefore I was charged for an extra day. Also was told the fuel gauge did not match. I did not drive the estimated mileage but was charged for that as well. Thanks to Mr. Heath Raper all of this was corrected.

Used this during my last move and loved using it here. I left I phone 13 in the uhaul they called immediately and let me know I had left it which I very much appreciate it because moving with 3 babies is super hard and I had no idea where it went which helped our process when they called us. My friend is moving in 3 months and will also be using them!! Thank you so much!!
