I took pictures of the dirty unsanitized truck and the gas was not on half a tank and I placed the needle exactly where it was when I picked it up. On top of that I took pictures and the truck drove very badly as if it needs work. I’ve been waiting on U-Haul to call me back about my complaint with this. I also need to know when my free month of storage is to take place in ever received it. I’m very upset and rate the services I’ve received horrible. The checkout procedure was not well communicated to me. I was not told to do anything other than park the truck in a specific place and put the key in the dropbox, which I did. There was no one on-site to assist with anything else.

Sending a picture of self, license both sides, and having a phone call to verify me as a driver was over the top and made the check in experience way longer than expected. We had to call to have our reservation updated so it would come on the app too. It was not user friendly. Ask for all the personal information BEFORE picking up the U Haul.

I overpaid on refilling also. Why can’t you give vehicles out, full of gas? I believe this is a way for Uhaul to make more profit by people overfilling the tank!!!

The online check-in process didn't work well the morning I had schedule to rent my truck. Jonathan, was very helpful, but the process still took 1 1/2 hours. I would have been better off just waiting for the store to open. Would never do online check-in again, waste of a morning where time was precious.

I rented 2 dozen blankets. They didn’t have full amount. They Only had a dozen and The blankets were soak with water so, we bought our own moving blankets.

Over all U-Hall was good, staff was very friendly every time I needed a truck. The last visit however was very stressful. With no staff present at the building when they were suppose to be open for business. It was a staffing error and miscommunication, those things happen. They did call and apologized and I got the van I needed to finish moving. So with all that being said, I would use them again.

Dishonest store! Prior Lake to New Prague MN less than 40 miles. Tendant charged 277 miles overstated gas also. This place is a scam the tendant is not to be trusted. You can get rid of the real cool brother scamming the public. The bill for this small adventure 380.00 when it should have been less than 80.00. You have a scammer no doubt!

This was actually our second time renting from this location, Andre is awesome. We were using a truck for storage in our driveway to have some work done on our house, which took longer than quoted. He was able to work with us to extend the rental as long as we needed it. Lifesaver! Also a way better deal than the other temporary storage options we looked at.

I reserved a rental for 10 am in Shakopee and requested it for 5 hours. I received a call saying there would not be a truck at that location after all, and if I was flexible, I could pick up the same size truck in Prior Lake but at 12:30 instead. I agreed, thinking I would still have the 5 hours I requested. Nobody told me I would now only get it for 2 hours. (Truck being returned was late so that also cut into the 5 hours I requested. ) Who can move in 2 hours??? That is BS, especially since I was never told I would have to return it at 3:15. When I rent a truck, it is for the time needed, and I did not get that. The people at Ironclad were great through all the mishaps that day, but I am upset that I my request was not honored. Had I known I would only get it for 2 hours, I would have cancelled.

Communication was good. A little tricky doing the 24/7 pick up but once got to the right app things moved right along. Returning using mobile worked great.

Truck was not parked well, too close to other trucks, making inspection on pickup much harder. Also had a bad lock on the truck which required significant force to unlock. This issue made me think I received a wrong passcode and almost gave up on picking up the truck. It also had less than 1/4 for gas which was frustrating. The truck also had very poor gas mileage, requiring me to spend even more money on gas.

Our rental was 2 hours delayed because someone didn’t “click a button” on our reservation to set it to mobile pick up and the site was closed (Sunday). It was very frustrating because I called U-Haul to get support and wait 20 minutes for a call back. Twice the person I talked to transferred me and the line disconnected in the process. So I spent 1.5 hours just trying to communicate and problem solve. Luckily we weren’t on a time crunch as it was a local move of stuff and not a full move out. And I didn’t have extra people waiting to help me - just my own family. If it had worked from the start, I’d say the whole process was slick with a mobile lock up and drop off.

I originally reserved my truck at a different location only to be told when I got there that they overbooked the truck. I had to go 20 minutes out of my way to pick up the truck send pay for the extra milage that I was not expecting to use.

The process was a mess. The app and getting approved was ridiculous. The lock didn’t work well snd could not get it off. The truck was not out front at 930 and I ended up getting the house an hour late because of it. Then my bill went from around $50 up to $140 because of excess mileage and gas usuals. I put on 12 miles. Terrible experience.

Pick up was horrible. I booked online pick up for 8am. The online confirmation indicated to go to Ironclad Storage at 8am as I had requested however the location did not even open until 9. Online booking does not work, stick to the locations actual business hours.

I'm writing this to express my frustration with my last ubaul experience. I booked a '15' foot truck to be picked up in Shakopee on June 26th as I was moving from Jordan nn to shakopee mn. I got a call 2 days before I was supposed to pick up the truck and was told you overbooked me and that truck was no longer available and that I would need to make other arrangements. Well, none of those options I was offered could work for me as I took off work and arranged help for the move. After much stress and inconvenience, I was offered a '10' truck in prior lake mn on the 26th. So not only did I have to downgrade size but it added more miles on my end to get it. Never once was an apology issued  or any offer of taking money off the extra miles. The lady who took my credit card at the place was not very friendly and not helpful. Moving is stressful enough without all the extra inconveniences that occurred.  I have used uhaul before and not had any problems like I encountered with this one. I was truly disappointed.

I rented a truck for a very short local move. I made one round trip for less than 20 miles. I estimated 15 miles when signing up for the truck. When checking in I wanted the guy at the return site to come and check the mileage. He said he was too busy and that he would check later and email me a statement when I received the statement he had indicated that I drove 108 miles. And charged me over $80. Completely false!! Not happy and will let other know about this for sure!

I did not have a good experience. When I arrived I was going to be charged over $200 more than I was originally told. It took over three hours to get this corrected and it ended up making us behind a whole day. We had to take more time off work and work with the other movers to have them come back a different day. It was a mess. There was only one U-haul employee that I spoke to that was kind and respectful. I will never use U-haul again.
