bill gSelf-Return process sucks. Didn't work on app, spent 1.5 hours, called customer service only to wait another 1/2 hour for no solution (told roadside assistance needed to be called, which is untrue)had to return to rental location (1/2 hour from home) to wait another 1/2 hour for customer service to finally get it resolved and able to head back home. Process took almost 4 hours, all because your app doesnt work for returns (per the 2nd customer service rep who was able to get the retun done).

Curt CDraw back to the location is the lack of space for customers to wait for their turn inside the building and not a lot of places to park your personal vehicle out of the way while you are borrowing a uhaul vehicle. Otherwise they did a good job with handling the reservation for pick up and drop off since I know this business is new to being a uhaul location.

John RI was charged a cleaning fee that wasn't discussed before renting the trailer. The trailer wasn't clean when I picked it up, just annoyed it wasn't a covered topic during the rental agreement.
Mark HMy driver complained about excessive heat on his feet from the motor. There is a sign stating just that BUT it was VERY uncomfortable for him.

DENISEKAY GI put appropriate amount of gas upon return and still was charged for 2 gallons. Location representative was easy to communicate with but the national representative was very burdensome. Too much time on the phone because of information being entered incorrectly.

Patrick MAll the employees should know how to hook up lights on a trailer and how to troubleshoot. The lady who assisted us couldn’t get the brake lights to work. She was convinced our vehicle was the issue and wouldn’t entertain any other ideas. She sent us down the road to Autozone to figure it out. Nothing was wrong with our vehicle and when we got back another employee brought out a different cord which hooked everything up just fine. This lady wasted an hour of our time and gas when we had people waiting on us to bring the trailer to load up.

Tim SApparently this location likes to put the screws to the customer when they drop off the vehicle with more fuel than when picked up. I got billed for fuel even though it had more than when picked up. I don’t know if it’s this location sneaking in fuel charges or the pickup location doing it, but I was overcharged either way with the runaround from corporate. Shady, shady, shady business here.
Jaret SWaited 30 minutes to rent a truck. Replaced the gasoline amount at the point of renting the truck was over charged for gasoline. Will be making a habit of taken phones photographs of the gas gauge when renting vehicles.

ROBERT SI had to park on the side of the building do to there not being any room with other vehicles. I noticed broken bottles near where I parked, and the online instructions were helpful.

Timothy TI was charged 3 times for a single rental. Although I understand mistakes are made this is uncalled for. I rented in good faith and had to make numerous calls to uhaul to get it corrected. I had to wait and worry for almost a week until the nearly 4,000 dollars was returned to me. Not once did I receive any information from uhaul unless I initiated the contact. The best response I received was an “oh I’m sorry for your troubles, here is a coupon for your next rental “. In all honesty a company of your size should be better than this, with the problems I had you can keep your coupon. Forever is a long time but as of now I will never do business or recommend uhaul. I truly believe I should have gotten something for my troubles and worry even if it was just an apology.

Steven LI was threatened with arrest by the call center. Not happy. Brenda at the Steele st location was wonderful and extremely helpful. I’ve been using uhaul for 40 years and I’m fairly aggravated regarding how we were treated when I was attempting to get info and pay for our rental. I was unaware that we couldn’t remotely check in and pay for a trailer. We most likely won’t be using uhaul again.

BEATRICE GMake sure the people working for the state Uhaul communicate to local dealers about discounts that were given on the phone. I was charged $30 more than was i was originally told on the phone.
Macey AI am sorely disappointed with the reservation vs the pick up. Lansing location was very accommodating. While Ionia Floral did everything they could to undermine Lansing. Charging me right away vs at drop off point. Not giving me a chance to put more fuel in, rather charge me additional. I cannot say enough how I will never recommend Uhaul to anyone.

Jesse RGive me my money back! I initially rented the vehicle for a 24 hour period, and 15 miles. I ended up returning the vehicle 6.5 hours after renting it, and only used 2 miles. Yet, I was still charged for a 24 hour period, a $100 deposit (which I STILL have not received back 24 hours later!), and I was charged for 2 gallons of gas, even though it had the EXACT SAME FUEL LEVEL AS WHEN I GOT IT! The first vehicle they were going to send me out in, it had ABSOLUTELY no gas, and they tried to tell me it had 1/8 tank. Even with 1/8 tank, I would have gotten no where! Please check your vehicles before and after renting! The lady who rented to me was very sweet and polite. But, not very pleased with uhaul in general after this rental.
