Loading a piano, so I didn't need a larger truck. Would have been nice to know that the smaller trucks do not come with a ramp! Nothing worked on this truck. The Bluetooth didn't work. The steering was so vague that it was dangerous. No cruise control. 700 miles with my foot modulating the vague throttle, my hands at 10 and 2 trying to keep the vehicle straight. It constantly drifted to the right. That was fun for 700 miles.Joel B.

I was thoroughly enjoying the experience. It was relatively fast and easy. However, they did switch my truck from a 20 to a 15 at the last minute because of availability. That wasn't a big deal. The phone rep said something about free miles but that didn't happenâ€¦ but I was still able to move everything with ease. Even with the change in vehicle I was having a good experience and it was quick and easy to pick the truck up. Now here is where my main concern is. I turned the truck on and it had 5/8 a tank of gas instead of 3/4. I immediately went back inside and mentioned this to the agent and he assured me I did the right thing by letting them know. But, when I came back, I had put 20$ in the tank and I have a receipt to confirm this. The guage read a little bit over 5/8 of a tank. I thought everything was good. But on my bill, it shows I had to pay 10$ for a gas fee! I know it seems small but it irritated me that I went through this in person and still they charged me. This small thing turned a relatively great experience into average and im left wondering if I would use UHaul again.Joseph K.

I had pre-registered for a truck, for the uncovered truck bed, and after going through the entire registration process I was told that the truck I reserved was not in and the only thing they had to offer was a van. I accepted the van because I had a small window of time to load and move the items. I rented the van for 4 hours and returned it after 1 1/2 hours, the gas level in the van was 3/4 of a tank when I rented it, and I filled it to Full on the gas gauge. There was no offer of a discount or refund for the extra gas, early return, and being inconvenience with having to use an alternative vehicle, which was harder to load as opposed to the open bed truck I had reserved.Timothy W.

When I picked up the truck, I had only 23 miles to empty. This was very inconvenient and meant I had to guess how much gas to add for what I would use, compared to having a full/partially full tank, and simply replacing what I used. Having adequate fuel for the vehicle would be a great improvement.Travis M.

The online process to return a trailer after house is terrible and does not work properly. I had issues with it both times I rented a uhaul this month. Very inconvenient to have to call to return a trailer when it should be a very simple process. Please fix the online return process.TRENT WILLIAM D.
All 3 of the gentleman working were very friendly and helpful. We experienced an issue while filing out the paperwork and the employee gave us several options to resolve the issue. Make sure that when a 1st time customer at that location is directed to the truck assigned, that it's the Right truck. I later learned that the staff meant for me to get another truck and not the truck that was pointed out/assigned. Other than that, Customer Service was Great!!!!STEPHANIE DETRIC P.

Well I was charged twice for my rental and this is the second time this has happened so I am not too happyBrandin C.
First off the manager talked crazy to us, got loud with us, I extended my rental for another day and was told I had to have it back 45 min earlier then when my rental was due back, he demanded I have it back. They rented my trailer to someone else during the time I had my rental and told me I had to have it back 45 min earlier. I then dropped it off and I was pist, very pist, so I went in the store and let them know I dropped off the trailer and called the owner pumpkin, he then came out and made threats to me, told me we could handle it, told me he did tours in the military, and threatened to fight me if I wanted to. I am not at all happy with this and to me there is a level of professionalism to keep being a business owner.Brooks C.
I made my reservation online, and switched to the online option for picking up my truck. When I arrived at 0930 to get the truck, I began the next steps to acquire the keys. I took photos of my drivers license (again, as I had done the night before) then discovered I needed a passport or another contact to complete the contract. Ok, fine. I tried to complete the processâ€¦no luckâ€¦an agent will need to finish the contract. It's 9:40. I get in a chat window with Hazel the agent. She asks me to take another photo of my drivers license with all four corners visible. Ok. I take another photo. She's completing the contract. I see the smaller rental and ask if I can be switched to that one (better for my needs) and she makes the change. My payment screen isn't working. I try three good credit cards. Payment screen isn't working. It's 9:50. Hazel disappears as I'm pleading for help. New agent is in the chat. I must take another photo of my drivers license with all four corners visible. You have got to be kidding me. Furious, I call the toll free number. I get Brandon, who is very nice. I explain the situation. He goes into the system, checks everything over. I need to go inside to get the keys at the desk, and finish the contract. It's now after 10 am. And I need to get in a line. The counter folks were wonderful, don't get me wrong, and so was Brandon, but if your company is going to offer a â€œconvenientâ€ means of acquiring a rental, it should actually be convenient. This process was frustrating and slow and left me incredibly dissatisfied. There was garbage left in the truck from the previous customer, and the overhead door was extremely stiff to operate. I can cope with a dirty truck, but the hassle of getting the dirty truck was unacceptable. I love uhaul and will continue to utilize your services, but this was annoying. Uhual was clean, just not organized. To no fault of the staff there were no regular dollys which was apart of my reservation so I elected to try an appliance dolly so maybe having more of those in stock . Definitely not as useful for the move. Several covers that were in the vehicle, I requested to defer cover after no longer needing them , but the vehicle had then piled up throughout the truck.DARIUS A.
