Nobody available to help at the pickup location. Very confusing to use the mobile app. You need to provide more guidance as it is not very well explained.

Keila ATold them I need truck for 8 hours, was incredibly clear wit this, but only employee only put in 6 hours. Employee failed to inform me that I should keep truck out further than 8 hours to avoid paying more if i did in fact need it for more than 8 hours and need to extend it. Ended up paying more after I needed it for more than 8 hours. Second employee also failed to inform me that I should keep it out longer than what extended it to, which was 12am. Fortunately caught this on my own and extended it passed 12am. When I asked employee why she didn't recommend to me on her own to keep truck beyond 12am to avoid additional fees in case i did in fact need it passed 12am, employee got upset and said was gonna hang up and not help me if I continue to ask what I was asking. Employee new she was wrong, that's why she responded that way. Both employees were wrong for not informing me. They just wanted to make more money off me. I do not work there so I don't know about these things, the employee does, a good employee would have let me know to keep the truck out longer to avoid paying more. It's not cool to intentionally withhold information to make more money off me. The employee that helped me out at the haul place also did a bad job because I told him 8 hours. I was unbelievably specific with this, repeated it several times, and he still got it wrong. I give this place my lowest recommendation ever. An absolutely horrible experience.

CORAZON BEven though there wasn't much parking and it was kind of a One-Stop shop guy Joe was awesome. He helped me when I couldn't find a car rental so I ended up getting a truck and explained everything there's just a few things that he needed for me and I left with the truck. Hey let me gas up the car before I turn it in so that I didn't get charged the extra charges which were a lot. He was very helpful I would definitely recommend this place.
donna wThe location was very sketchy and no one was there when I was trying to return it. I called the number no one was answering. I stayed on there for 35 mins but nothing, I had to call and made sure they know I return the trunk on time.
PJ jI understand that some places are simple pick-up locations for U-Haul, but when they aren't focused on the U-Haul side of the business, you can tell that in the quality of the vehicle. Frankly it was in bad shape. The driver side window didn't roll up all the way as the door I think was slightly bent. The smell of oil was so strong I had to wear a mask in the vehicle. I also made two stops, and both times, fluid appeared to be leaking out. It was most likely water as there was no shine to it, but it still made driving the truck uneasy. I rent pretty regularly from the location on Grimmer in Fremont, CA, but changing my normal location for what I thought would be a bit more convenient this time was a huge mistake. The lot on Grimmer is excellent and I have never had a problem with any of their vehicles. And then on top of that, checking out was a nightmare since it had to be done through the app. The app kept erroring out and I had to take pictures multiple times. Like I said, I understand the need to have smaller non dedicated locations, but the process needs to be kept easy and the vehicles have to be maintained still.

Antonatte TWe were scheduled to pick up our rental at 10AM and the guy didn't show up until 10:30AM! There was another customer ahead of us and we didn't get out of the lot until after 11AM! I will NEVER use this place again and do not recommend them!

Where I had to spend like half an hour in my first location where they sent me to because I was one of the few opened on Christmas Day but then the keys weren't in the safe box where they supposed to be so I had to call them then they sent me to a different location which was around 7 miles from the first one .

KAMARAJ KI drove 21 Miles, for that i had to fill 5.3 Gallons of Gas which is ridiculous.Not sure whether this is vehicle maintenance issue or some thing else.
Venu GPick up was ok if you get good reception and drop off was not good because the place we drop off wasn’t open and I was on phone with dispatch for almost 20 minutes try to find a different location to drop off.

mark nthere was nowhere to park, so a man from a different auto shop told me to park in front of the door. then, as i'm out picking stuff up, i get a call from integral auto saying i'm blocking the door and i need to move. maybe some communication between the two would be helpful? also the furniture dolly i ordered did NOT come with my rental
maira mThe dollies I ordered were not available at the location where I got the truck. I had changed my pickup day, so that is understandable, but it would have been helpful to know I needed to make another stop to get my equipment and supplies.
Joan WLocation wasn't open at the time of reservation for counter pick-up. Waited an hour to get the vehicle. Later spoke to the manager/owner and was told that shop opens at 10AM, not 9AM as listed on U-Haul.
