The pick up time on the website says they are open at 7am, when really the location for U-Haul apparently doesn't open until 8am. I placed an order for a dolly and didn't receive one and I ended up getting charged for 2 days.

The whole experience was a giant headache. We had a 7 am reservation. The food store doesn’t open till 7 (really 10 minutes after 7). Then the manager told me he could not accommodate me till 8. I practically had to beg to get him to to find someone to help us. We were interested in some moving blankets.. none were available to us. When returned the truck they called it “late” and charged us an extra 20 dollars. It was not a good experience.

The young lady at the counter had to call someone else at another location who wasn’t answering their phone causing a 1/2 hour delay. The truck shifted poorly and had not been cleaned since the last use.

You charged me for gas I return truck with gas and just noticed it on my receipti. I told the girl that checked me in that it had a halph tank of gas and that is how i returned it. I should get a fefund for gas

The employee was not very helpful, very slow then rushed me through signing the paperwork. After I dropped off my truck I found out there was another Dollie on my contract that I didn’t order.

The entire week beforehand in regards to setting up the pick-up was extremely discorganized. The location was changed 3 times and each time I spoke to a representative they disregarded my requests and were rude on the phone. Up until the day of the pick-up, nothing went smoothly.

The staff came 1 hr late, when we came back to drop off, none of the staffs knew how to sign us off,had to wait for another 30 mins before they made a call to someone on the phone to instruct them on what to do

I rented a car from Ideal Food Basket - (25435), 856 Merrik Rd, Baldwin, NY 11510. I have informed U-Haul representative that I will pick up a Van from them and after 4-5 hours will return it in Bronx, NY. I was charged $75. Same day I returned it in Bronx, NY (230 W, 230th street, Bronx, NY, 10463). When I returned the Van, I was informed by the U-Haul officer that I should return the Van at the same place where I picked up the Van, i.e at the Ideal Food Basket - (25435), otherwise they will charge me additional fee (around $150). I complained as I clearly explained to the U-Haul representative where I will drop off the car, i.e. in Bronx, NY (230 W, 230th street, Bronx, NY, 10463). Moreover, I tried to call to the customer service three times, after waiting around ten minutes each time a made a call, I could not reach anybody from the customer service. In order to save time and additional fee for the gas and additional miles I have decided to drop of the Van in Bronx and they charge me $190. This means that I was charged for the mistake of the U-Haul representative, where I picked up the Van. I sent an email to the U-Haul, but they never replied. I would probably use another services in the future.

Awesome except the young lady stopped to talk to everyone she knew before she could get to our truck and we were the only actual U-Haul customers there. Made us late for packing up our kids so that sucked
