Man behind counter was late opening store so I missed some of my time, he seemed harried, and whenever I asked questions he answered with 2-3 words or said he didn't know and wasn't a UHaul store. I had never rented a UHaul before so I was quite nervous and not sure what to expect. No one from Customer Service called me until after my rental time had started.ROBERT M.
Uhaul receipt retrieval is awful! Printed receipt shows zeros not the actual charge and to get it online is even more of headache. I doubt that I will use uhaul services again.Spencer B.

I ordered two hand trucks and dolly to be included with my truck rental and they were not in the truck. Also, no one was available on site to help, on a Friday morning? In addition, no one would answer my calls about the matter. Now I have to play phone tag with U-haul to get my money back for services not provided while I'm dealing with a move. Tried to return using uhaul.com and was unable to do it. Call customer service for more information because iceberg auto customs did not open until 11 am. When the employee arrived I ask him if he could help me since I have tried to return on line. His attitude towards me and the persons that were with me was completely unacceptable. Like he felt we were bothering him by asking the right way to return on line. Answers were rude and with an undertone. This is a customer who is trying to do the right thing when returning the uhaul trailer. Customer service was deplorable and will not rent or recommend this facility and location.Stella R.

This is about your truck only. I'm 6'3â€ tall and your dashboard covers the speedometer. Between 20 mph and 80 mph I could not see the speed I was driving without sucking my head to check and thereby taking my eyes off the road. It was incredibly dangerous especially when I would end up in high traffic situations. I was not able to adjust the seat in any manner that could have helped.ANDREW S.

Is there an app? It was hard for me to figure out. Was not super user friendly to check in and I could not check out. The guy helped me. I reserved a Dolly, which was not there when I picked up (despite being confirmed). Parking wasn't clearly defined, sans some faded white lines out front. I received a call during my rental from the location asking me to move my car, that I wasn't in a parking space. Mind you, I would have to tear things down and pack up to drive back to the rental location to move my car, then back to finish the move. All this, at $0.99 per mile....no, thank you. I'm already having to do more work and made the move 3x harder than it had to be because I had to life/carry every box instead of using the hand cart that i had requested/reserved. In the end, where he felt that I should have parked was on one of the entrance/exit curb cuts for the street entry (there are two) - NOBODY in their right mind would think that the entrance from the street is a more logical and correct parking space than those with faded white lines. When returning, he took the keys and said he'd check it in later. I had to actually ask that he do so now and give me a receipt. POOR POOR operation - I live very close and would never use this location again.Michael C.

My confirmation was not on time, door the business was locked, had to call the guy to come to the office then he argued with me about having a reservation, then his computers were down, after completing the order he forgot to give me the dolly, so we had to make a return trip back to the office to get the dolly. Absolutely HORRIBLE service! He complained from the second I arrived until I was hooked up and left. When he was moving trailers around to get to mine he even had attitude in his actions. Awful - arrived at pock- up 1 hr late- because I couldnt get out of work. They rented the truck we had reserved. Young girl at the counter was rude never had iContact was basically oh well you were late too bad. I explained that I should've known at booking that if I didn't make it right on the dot of the time that I would possibly lose that rental. I would've definitely called in To alert that I was still renting it I just wasn't able to leave work. I tried to rent anything else she said nothing was available I had to beg her to please call another place I really needed the truck to move. So she told us to go to this other place I would make a reservation for us and when we got there the guy had no knowledge of it and he had one truck and it wasn't ready. This is the worst U-Haul experience I've ever had.Denise B.

The customer service was definitely something to be desired at this location. I received the text message the day before to call and confirm so i did that. The employee said that our truck wouldn't be ready at our scheduled pickup time because he doesn't even open his shop till that time and would still need to clean it out. Now, this may not be his fault, the website should take into account of the business hours and prep time but how he handled it just rubbed me the wrong way. Would not recommend picking up from that location to anyone.Scott B.

I reserved a mobile pickup about 30 minutes prior to my reservation time. I received an email saying my reservation was received and I'd get more information after a specialist reviewed my request, but I never got an update. I showed up at 5:30 and attempted to selected â€œpick up my truckâ€ from the online dashboard but there was no option to do so. All it said was â€œupcoming reservationâ€. A worker at this location was able to help me with a counter checkout instead of using this fully mobile experience. I'm not sure if it was because my reservation was on such a short notice, but I imagine this could be an issue for others if there is nobody physically present during mobile pickup. FYI!JONATHAN C.

I had problems with the online check in. When I was trying to pick up the vehicle online it could not determine my location. I tried calling the help line but after 10 minutes of being on hold I gave up and called another U-Haul location (9390 9th N & Gandy, St. Petersburg, FL 33702). I was ready to just give up and go there for a truck but the guy informed me that I should try using the app instead of the browser to check in. That eventually worked but it still took a while. Overall it took over a half hour to check in online. It's a rather idiotic process, why can't someone at least start the check in process early? I should be able to send the pictures of my license and stuff and do external checks before the rental time.Kevin D.

The tire literally shredded while driving on interstate 75. Lucky no one was hurt. Could have been a very dangerous situation. We sat on the side of the interstate for an hour and a half while waiting for someone to change the tire.Joseph J.
