Stacy was very rude. When she hooked it up the safety chains were dragging on the ground. She didn't explain things well. Then I returned it early and she tried to charge me twice for it. I had to make several calls before the charges on my credit card was cleaned up. Never again from this location.Dorinda D.

The uhaul had bad brakes, there was a lot of play in the steering wheel and then uhaul wanted to charge me $300 to do a one way load and drop off even though we put twice the milage and then charged me an additional 150 dollar on it then we payed for because we got stuck in a lightening storm and were 4 hours late getting it back. I will never use uhaul again. It was a terrible experience.Jean S.
"The person that does" the Uhaul returns doesn't work on the weekends. The clerk just took my information. Considering the nature of the business, you would think there would be weekend employees.Stephen B.

My issue isn't with Haymakers, it's with Uhaul. I reserved a truck, dolly and blankets online a week before my move, to be picked up in Moberly. I received a message the day before my move that I needed to get in contact with them, so I called, only to be informed that the truck had just been reserved by someone else and if i still wanted it i could drive to Macon to pick it up. 60 mile round trip for a uhaul I was using to move less than a mile or two. I was also informed that I would be charged the additional mileage, despite the fact that it was your error. I don't understand the point in make a reservation if it doesn't reserve a truck that you said was available in my town. Too late to work out other arrangements, I drove to Macon to pick up the truck. The staff at Haymakers were courteous, and professional as they apologized for my inconvenience and informed me that they also have no dolly's on site to provide me, because you haven't provided them to them yet. Overall, I'm very disappointed with this experience. I understand that I live in a smaller town, so there arent as many trucks available, but that is why I made the reservation a week in advance.Tracie P.

I rent at least 1 if not 2 uhauls a year from large trucks to small trailers. Always great trucks/trailers, not always great rental pick up locations. Haymakers just starting doing this and we're struggling with the software and checkout process. It took 45 minutes to complete the process. I had to wait for her to finish taking out the trash, take a break, and then help me. When I came to check it back in they tried to charge me another day even though I was a couple hours late on a 4 day rental. They were closed meaning no one was going to be picking it up that night. I was not happy to see that charge, but was happy uhaul figured out the final bill. I will go back there as it's my only option but there is a lot of improvement that needs to take place.Tyler N.
