BEVERLY S.None of the staff members were wearing face masks or practicing social distancing, and they were not enforcing the current state mandates for their customers either. As a healthcare worker I was appalled by the lack of protection and consideration for paying customers during the pandemic. I did not receive the vehicle I requested online and was not given the $50 credit like the website claims if the vehicle you request is not provided. I will never rent from this location again and will advise all friends who are moving to do the same.

DAPENG W.Employees at this location were friendly and helpful. Do NOT use U-Haul if it can be avoided at all. I originally had a one-way reservation, which they cancelled at the last minute without apology. I then had to reserve a truck to be picked up and returned at the same location which increased my rate by $350. After all that, U-Haul changed my rental pickup location 3 times in 24 hours. Again, avoid this company at all costs.

nicholas B.It was an awful experience. We had to wait over an hour and we checked in online. They gave us the wrong truck at first and then the truck they gave us they told us they did not sanitize even though there was Covid warnings all over our county. It had no gas in it And we couldn't even find the gas cap. It was a ridiculous experience and we would never ever ever rent a U-Haul from that location again. I think they have too many businesses going on at once over there that they cannot handle.

Richard C.The business opens at 8:00 am and the employee walked in at 8 to open the location. I rented a van for 24 hrs. returning it a little after 5:00pm. The location closes at 5 pm and the same clerk who served me in the morning was closing the register. He told me to drop the keys into the after hours box. They processed the return at 9:00 am the next morning, charging me a full second day rental.

Michael D.This uhual place was wonderful. The check in mid check out process was wonderful. The actual uhual seemed to struggle a little to drive but that was probably because it was heavy and loaded to the brim. Overall all of the guys we interacted with were wonderful.

Michael M.Offer unlimited miles I didn't know any better and didn't get unlimited miles and I used the 19.95 truck for less than 3 hours and I got charged 119 dollars for 52 miles driven and less than 5 gallons of gas I feel like I was taking advantage of
marcus S.First i had my rsvp at 830am for a R/T at midway drive in san diego. They called me up the last minute that there have no r/t and sent me to broadway st in chula vista. Got there 9am and I was told there that the r/t trailer was not returned on time so have to wait. Finally r/t came at 945am and did the paperwork and finally hooked up. Then manager came out saying r/t is reported broken and cannot use. Took another 30 mins to find avbl trailer. They sent me to the bradley location and got a 6x12 close trlr which is way too big for what i need. BUt i had no choice and just bite the bullet. Finally left uhaul at around 1130am. I mean isnt this a very annoying, maddening and just plain inconvenience? Nobody at uhaul even said sorry for what happened. Its like just another normal day at work. I dont even expect anymore who would read this (or even bother to read this) to reach out and apologize. Uhaul at western av in LA said they will email my receipt and I received nothing.

FREDRICK D.While Happy Car Wash provided excellent service I was NOT happy with the online service to return the truck. I followed the directions but every time I tried to finish I kept getting a message saying it didn't recognize the location and then would error. I went through this twice before finally calling Uhaul customer service. I dropped the truck off at Happy Car Wash at about 4:45pm. I also dropped the keys in the box provided after I called customer service. The box indicated that I need to drop a copy of the contract in the box. I din't have a “copy†with me only my copy so I went home then came back with a copy to drop in the box. The person at Happy Car Wash at the time of pick up said if they were closed when I got back to just drop the key in the box. I didn't know I needed to also drop a copy of the contract in the slot. Ugh! Better communication on that and the fact the website didn't work would help immensely. Gracias

It was just into it's second day of use when I got annoying call from the renter claiming that they had over-scheduled the thing, and asked be to bring it back one hour before my two days were up. They owe me.
