We got cancelled at the last second from Frisco Self Storage. Then they sent us 9 miles away to pick up a truck that was filthy, and made awful sounds when driving. The most uncomfortable ride ever. They also made us pay for the extra mileage (18 miles) because the place that we were sent to, was out of the way. U-haul has turned into a very amateur, awful company.Craig D.

The person that â€œassistedâ€ me when I arrived to pick up the trailer immediately got on a phone call and ignored me for nearly 20 minutes while he carried on his phone call and pretended to be doing computer work as I stood there and waited. Then he went to hook up my trailer and wasn't successful in connecting the chains to my truck, so he was just going to wrap them around the nose of the hitch and leave them. I told him that wasn't safe and connected them myself as he walked away. I then also connected the wiring and hoped it worked since no one was there to confirm the signals and brake lights worked. During my trip, one of the tires went flat, and I was thankful roadside assistance took care of that. But I would NEVER recommend Hans Valero to rent a U-Hual from.Megan T.

This U-Haul location is part of a gas station. So, when you come to pick-up or return a U-haul vehicle, you're having to compete with folks coming to buy gas. This competing of services forces the one clerk behind the counter to have to make you, the customer, bring to them photos of your mileage, your gas level, as well as lug in the dolly that you rented. These folks do nothing to make your experience a painless one. They are making the experience less painless for themselves.Rodney T.

This is a gas station convenient store with one person working both the uhaul and convenient store register. Anytime someone would come up with items he would leave the uhaul area and go check them out. After helping about 20 people off and on through the process I finally got my uhaul rental after 45 minutes.Michael M.
The pick up location was great. The problem was the drop of location on N Lake Drive in Texarkana, TX. The Internet listed them as being open until 7:00 but when I got there at 6:40, they were closed. I called customer service and they said it was closed until Monday and they could not find another location for drop off. I am a 63 year old female and had no idea how to unhook the trailer myself to check it in online. I drove 3 hours back to Dallas so I could return the equipment the next day.Beverly T.

Let me know where the damn drop box at for the truck keys at gas station where gas pumps were not up but did not pump gas. Thank God i didnt get molested or kidnapped. Theres no freaking cameras! It took the uhaul employee 20 minitea to get me the key, O almost got pulled over bc of the horrible alignment too, the lady cop let me make it, can yall plz do the same for me??? The window was left open at rain. The truck and steering wheel were very dirty. If I go to a large uhaul center to make the reservation, I don't want to be redirected to a mediocre location, where the guy helping with the tow could barely speak English. The truck was porpoising for much of the road, so I could not go higher than 50mph for large streches of the way.Thierry L.

As I was filling up the uhaul and I was told this truck takes about 10-11 mpg, so I filled up 3 gals (went 30-miles). Before I was able to recheck the gauge, the attendant came out and inspected the truck, opened the door and checked the instrument reading. I asked if everything was okay and is the fuel good. He said yes and told me a receipt will be emailed to me. When I received the receipt, I was charged $30 for â€œ Fuel Fill-up service feeâ€ + $16.20 for â€œFuel Salesâ€ + I already paid $9.89 to fill up the pump. I came back in and the attendant told me the gauge is not exactly at the 1/4 tank. This was when I got infuriated. He said â€œyesâ€ to my earlier question, if the truck and fuel was good. This is a scam tactic to squeeze more money and creating a one time customer, because I will never use uhaul or do business at this location again. Very disappointed. Uhaul and this Valero location will receive additional negative feedbacks from me from multiple sites.Tai D.

Not related to this location--Your website failed to secure a truck for me even though it gave me feedback it was confirmed. It said step 1 of 3 and would not continue after I submitted payment information. VERY frustrating. When I went to Lewisville location next morning to pick up, they told me they had no truck and I had no reservation. He sent me to a location 5 miles away with a new confirmation. As I walked in the door, I got a call letting me know it was over-booked and I was out of luck AGAIN.
