The location I received service at was extremely unorganized. My reservation was set for pickup at 10am. The associate helping me took 40 minutes to process the reservation, and he also insisted my credit card was “no good” when it was clear to be an issue with the card reader keypad. He charged me for 2 days of rental when I only reserved one day. He also repeatedly stopped to help other people before completing my rental. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

They did not walk me out to the truck to make sure mileage and gas were consistent on the paperwork. Nor did they explain anything to me (ie.,how to operate the vehicle, how to adjust the mirrors, what dashboard features there were and how to operate them, etc.). Not until I picked up my tow dolly at another location did we notice that they rented me a truck with no license plate. Very unprofessional. Not helpful. Will NEVER deal with them again!

The only thing that was not satisfying in our opinion was the gentleman who was renting out the U-Haul he had a very ugly attitude he made us feel like we were bothering him no smile on his face usually at service with a smile no thank you know nothing I would never go back to that place again

The men at the counter responsible for handling paperwork were inefficient and seriously slow. The truck was horrible to drive. I would never use this location ever and definitely never recommend it. I felt this was a horrible mistake and experience. I am extremely upset from the whole rental.

The attendant at the mobile gas station was very rude, he returned the keys to me three times until the tank was at the exact level as the paper noted. I asked him to just charge me the difference and he would not. He made me move the truck three times from the parking space back into the gas pump. The truck transmission was in very bad shape and slipped luckily we only had to make a one-way trip. The attendant at the mobile gas station did not want to know anything about the truck issues and charged me for extra mileage when I thought this rental was unlimited mileage . I have rented several trucks in the past and never had such a bad experience. I expect some kind of credit or some callback from the corporate office on this

service rep was having trouble looking up my reservation. Then had trouble entering my personal information. Then he mentioned there was an error. Had to re-do it all over again. After 38 minutes of him inputting information and processing it, he tells me my total $60 more than what I had been Quoted. Tried calling UHaul customer service to get credited some of those charges back. Have not heard from them.

I had the worst experience I waited over 2 hours to get my truck. The attendant did not know what he was doing. and I was disconnect 5 times when calling customer service. All around a bad experience.

Picking up the vehicle took very long. Even though I had pre-checked in online the employee had no knowledge of it and I had to verify my my info other drivers' license again. Added to this he had to stop my transaction and keep helping customers who came into the Mobile station so the transaction took much longer than expected. When I returned the car, the owner was very rude and when i asked him to look at the gas gauge he said " are you really going to make me go outside?" He them made me put in more gas than I think I used (i only drove 10 miles and he made me put in 3.5 gallons) its suspicious since this may be how he makes extra money at his gas station. He also said Uhaul would charge me $8 per gallon to fill it up which seems excessive. Overall I would not use or recommend this location again.

I made reservation online and provided my cc info, I assume that all i need is show my id and pick up my car, but instead the process it took , just like i start from the scratch.

I had pre-ordered and paid before going to the location to make the pick-up process of the U-Haul quicker. I had an email confirmation of my order but upon arrival the person behind the desk refused to comply and proceeded to cancel my order and made a new order on the spot with a higher price. I asked to speak with managers and to see if other people could help me, but the worker refused to help. I was on a time crunch and needed the U-Haul so I just complied. I ended up paying more than I originally had paid and wasted 45 minutes at this location. I will not be using this location for future use and recommend that no one use this place for their U-Haul needs!

Don't use Hannas Mobil as a pick-up location. The gas station attendant was all by himself and took an hour to process my rental, which should only have taken 10 minutes. He was constantly interupted by the station's customers which were his top priority. Also, another person came to the station to pick up a U-Haul vehicle. He arrived about 10 minutes after I did. Imagine what his total wait time was to get his vehicle.

My review does not relate to to this location, but to the over all email communication from Uhaul. First, I received the wrong email confirmation with an incorrect Uhaul pick up location. I waited almost and hour and called multiple phone numbers at the bottom of the email. All phone numbers were incorrect and representatives could not help me. It wasn't until I got the trafficking number that they were able to give me the correct address of my Uhaul pick up. I know that this is a very small mistake made on email automation, but it is also VERY important, especially because moving is already a stressful day. I was very disappointed in my pre pick up Uhaul experience.

they need to have their computers working properly and if you call and pay. they say we only need a valid driver license to pick up because I paid for someone else then they should honor that. not have the person that is picking up the u-haul leave another credit card with them if they had mine on file

This was the worst experience moving. I was suppose to pick my u haul up from the multiple erry location in whittier. Apparently the whole system was down. I had 20 people at my house ready to work with no truck. I had to go to the leffingwell location to have my stuff process and even then it was still another 45 minutes till I could get the paperwork signed. Then I had to go back to the Uhaul to pick it up it was ridiculous. Everyone was waiting for me because I had the Uhaul I will never again use Uhaul. I will be putting my review on Yelp as well. I also had it switched from another location to that location and I was told I was going to get a $5 gift card to pay for the extra mileage because it was further away and I still didn't get that gift card and I had to pay full price.

Constantly keep me waiting while he filled up propane. At pickup and turning the truck in. At one point I had to step outside do he could lock the store so he could attend to another customer.

Three days ago, I reserved a 10' truck for today & received email confirmation. I did the express online check-in this morning before I left to pick up the truck. When i got to the Uhaul location/Mobil gas station I was told that I had reserved a 15' truck. I was told that they only had a 15' truck that I can have for the price of a 10' truck but the fuel consumption would be greater. I pointed out the Uhaul $50 rental guarantee that if the equipment that I reserved was not available at the reserved pick-up time, Uhaul would give the customer $50. The station attendant told me that I should call Uhaul and take it up with them. I did. The Uhaul representative told me that they couldn't honor the $50 guarantee but that they can give me a $5 VIP credit when I returned the truck later in the day to compensate for the difference in fuel consumption between the 15' and 10' trucks. Just so I can go on with moving as planned, I went ahead with the rental. When I returned the truck, the attendant said that there was no $5 credited on my account as the Uhaul representative had told me in the morning. I was again told to call Uhaul. I called Uhaul and was told that the $5 credit would not show in my account until the next day. In the meantime I was told to pay the full amount and wait for the credit to be posted the following day. I told the representative that I was told differently when I called in the morning. The reply was that there was nothing that can be done today. As there was already so much hassle going on, I mentioned that in reality, if Uhaul posts a guarantee as they do on their website then they should back it up. I really should have been entitled to $50 instead of the $5 credit. I was told that the area manager was going to be in the following day and I could call and take it up with him. While this was happening, the owner of the Uhaul location/Mobil gas station was yelling at me to move away from the covered cases of jerky in the store. I would have understood his dramatics if I had been talking over an uncovered display of food but this was a case of jerky with a closed hinged lid. For someone to be as rude as he was to a customer, I think it may be a reflection of how the rest of Uhaul as a company treats its customers. Moving is stressful enough but his was a very bad experience all the way around - from Uhaul and from the Mobil gas station pick-up location.

Not organized, had to go back for a furniture dolly that I was told was in the back. Fault on me for not checking. Took 30 minutes while they figured out how to do the paperwork. The $121 initial fee found and secured online turned into $165 not even including the gas that you supply yourself. Not efficient. U-Haul is a large company that seems to dominate the moving business however this self-moving market is ripe for more efficient competition.

The oil change light was on the entire time making us nervous the attendant has a terrible attitude ! I would never go there again ???????? he also tried to find things wrong with the truck and cost us extra money for a bogus one gallon of gas what a jerk worst experience in all my years of renting a haul trucks.

Although the equipment was not clean on the outside, it didn't really matter. It was okay on the inside. The only small issue was, I told the attendant I had my own insurance and didn't need to pay for it. When I returned the vehicle, there was a different attendant and I was charged and told I had to pay $14.99 for insurance that I did not need. That was frustrating. Other than that, it was a great experience!

I had ordered a 14' truck at Molinas Automotive in uptown Whittier 5 days in advance, to be absolutely sure we would get a truck for our move. We were moving from a place in uptown to a new place in uptown so we chose this place based on obvious reasoning that we wouldn't have to travel very far and use up miles. When we got there they said that the truck had moved to a different location. They sent us to location way out of our way, at Hanna's Mobil in South Whittier. They were cool but we were already pissed so it was hard to tell. We ended up traveling further than we planned for the day and it put a wrench in the day. I probably won't use Uhaul again for any moves we make in the future. I felt like we were getting the run around.

Went to pick up truck on Friday at 4:00pm got it and sign forms. As I was leaving I asked about return policy with truck was told I had 24 hours. Left location and finished by 730pm .parked truck on my driveway to drop of in morning . Specially since was told I had 24 hours . I went to work and received a called . Very rude and screaming man owner of u haul location . Screamed at me . Stating I was late and I didn't read contract . I had to return it at 10:pm . When I was told by phone they would close at 5:00pm . I could return truck next day and three witnesses my brothers and father heard Him say we had 24hours. I was very upset with this . We are honorary people who respect rules and to be treated with such rudeness and disrespect was not called for. I will never return to this location. But I will continue to use u haul .thank you

The new addition of the attached cover blankets and dolly that you can have as an option to use in your move, actually takes up space from what I rented the truck! further more i had already reserved two other dollies, and the one that was attached inside of the truck was already open. We ended up getting charged for that one too!!
