Michael LongEverything was pretty straightforward except the gas fill. On the gas gauge I needed to fill to 7/8 and filled it as such before returning. Yet the reading the next day did not reflect that and I was charged for gas. It also seems as though the charges were higher than expected.

Elmer MasimoreNothing about the locations. U-Haul’s portals and website are TERRIBLE. I couldn’t find where to check in on the account dashboard so the first location had to do it on their account. They didn’t open until 9:30am so I was lucky picking it up at 7am. Then when I dropped off the truck the website couldn’t pick up my location. I had to leave the truck unlocked with the keys in the glove box. Do better, U-Haul!
Greg St. ClairTry to provide earlier indication of the location for the pickup if the site changes. I found out the morning of the rental that I needed to go somewhere else for the truck and tow dolly.

I was supposed to pick up in Winsor Mill but when I arrived they didn't have any 10' trucks and I was not contacted to change my pickup location beforehand despite putting down a deposit for the truck two weeks in advance. I got my deposit back, however I drove significantly out of my way and had to adjust my entire moving schedule for the day.

dan bresslerThe staff at the Hampstead location was friendly and efficient. We had to change our truck return date at pickup, but they were able to accommodate us with no issues. Overall a very good experience. The only negative issue we had was that on the truck we rented, the “mom’s attic” area had a bad leak during a rain storm and some of our boxes were soggy and falling apart when we unloaded the truck. I reported this to the agent when we returned the truck.

JOHN KELLYThe pick up location representative, Doug, was amazing! I highly recommend him and Hampstead Auto parts for pick up. Our issue was with the truck itself. Due to rain during our trip, some of our belongings got wet! Not just the items at the back by the door, but those in the overcab portion, known as Grandmas Attic.
