Storage unit was super nice at one time. Now, there is much repair needed-crushed or collapsed unit doors, deep holes at concrete edge that would swallow a car tire! Needs a big clean up and repair day. Otherwise, it's a nice place to rent from. Staff are awesome!DENNIS S. | Overall Experience
The truck had a major leak in the cargo area. We rented the truck to transport items to an event. It rained overnight while our items were on the truck and many items were very wet. Thankfully, most of my paper products were in plastic boxes.Lisa W.

The ladies that work there are very nice!!!!!, but the truck I rented was extremely dirty. The front end vibrated very much when driving, the drivers door rattled like it was not closed all the way but it was, the windshield was so dirty I had to stop and clean it before I could drive it. I know it is good business to keep trucks as long as possible but its time to retire this one. One last thing, I picked the truck up and the fuel gauge was on 1/4 tank, I drove it 79 miles, I put 5.5 gallons of fuel in it, back up to 1/4 tank or as close as I could estimate, right before I dropped it off and I was charged a 30.00 fuel charge and another 15.00 on top of that. On a positive note, I am very pleased I can usually get a truck almost always when needed from this location and the Pepperchase Drive location in Southaven. Gracias.Corey M.

Tell the prescription medication pill poppers to do their job and check the vehicles when people return them. Tell the fat bitch at the front desk not to come to work looking like she is under the influence wearing clothes she wore to bed or around the house! Never again will I rent from this MF place. Charged me for gas that was never in the truck, she didn't check the back of the truck, nor do they disinfect between rentals!!! Disgusting crackheads running this place!qwana P.

We arrived and were waiting at 8am when the store was supposed to have opened, but it was not opened until 5-10 minutes late. However, the attendant at the front desk was efficient and polite and got us taken care of quickly. The truck I had reserved was not available when I arrived for maintenance reasons, so they gave me a larger truck in compensation for the inconvenience. It was a very acceptable solution to the problem. All in all it was a good experience and worth the money.MARK B.

Pickup: the right front tire was low and no way to fill it. I returned the van with a full tank (I have receipts, photos, and witnesses to prove it). The UHaul outlet claims that the tank was 3/4 full and charged me with 17 gallons (note the tank holds 31 gallons, so 1/4 empty means less than 8 gallons. I drove 64 miles, so this means 3.757 miles per gallon for a GMC van. When I went to the office and showed the lady my receipts and photos, she showed me her photo of the gas gauge and claimed she was right. I will contest this charge with Discover and post this info on Yelp.Clayton J.
When I got to my Location to start packing I found somebody else's disgusting washer with all of their moldy clothes sitting inside of it. I had to push it off to the side of the road because it was taking up too much space in the truck not to mention the latch on the back of the truck got jammed multiple times and delayed my move by three hours overall this was a horrible experience.Jose L.

Scheduled a 15 footer for my move a month in advance to ensure that I would have the correct vehicle and closest pickup location. Was contacted roughly 14 hours before I was due to pick up the vehicle and told that their was only a 20 footer available and the new pickup location was an hour from my house (original location was 15 minutes away). This was a terrible experience and I will not recommend U-haul to any of my friends and I will not use your company ever again.Davis J.

The unit I rented was dropped off at Top Gun U-Haul site in Savannah, TN at 10:30 am this morning. My experience with U-Haul was TERRIBLE. Here are some facts: -I reserved the truck 4 days in advance and stipulated that I wanted to pick it up at Pleasant Hill Storage in Olive Branch, MS because the items I needed to move were there. Within hours of the time the truck was to be picked up your representative called and directed me to Hamilton Storage in Southaven MS to pick the truck up since it was not available at the site I reserved -I spent 20 minutes picking the truck up trying to maneuver your web site for mobile pick up and your site was terribly slow and would not let me upload photos of the filthy condition the truck was in. After the website delay and taking to your representative on your chat system I was Informed to go inside and pick up the key! Had I known There was anyone inside I would have not attempted the mobile check in and saved a lot of time. -the truck was filthy outside including The windshield and it there was dirt on the floorboard and the console had food and drink stains. -when I finally got the key the agent then had to get a two wheeler out of the truck and pack up 15 blankets that were in the back before I could leave. -this morning as I attempted to use mobile return a dozen times your website was not working. I used a second mobile device to ensure it was your website that was faulty and it was. -with no website connectivity I tried Six times on one phone and two on another phone to reach your 800 number only to find it not working, no answer and a fast busy signal This was a POOR experience and I will likely never use U-Haul again.ken A.

Employee was nice, but office was not open at scheduled start time and the equipment rented wit the truck was not there. I needed a furniture dolly and moving blankets, and it put me in a real bind. Made due but had damage to furniture.NEIL S.

The truck needed an alignment BAD! My experience at this location was fine and so was dropping the truck off but the first location I went to where my original reservation was set was Pepperchase in Southaven. I set my reservation over the phone with a representative IN Memphis from the Regional office, Judy, and I asked and made sure I would have the truck for 24 HOURS. When i got to the end of my checkout, I confirmed that I would bring it back "At the same time tomorrow " and the lady said "No, it has to be back at 4pm." I told her to cancel the order then because I made my reservation for 24 hours and that's how long I needed the truck for and the ladies that were there told me how corporate over schedules them all the time, none of which was my problem. They canceled the order and I went and called Judy back and spoke to her and she was able to return my reservation to 24 hours and move the person after me so I go back In The store and let them know what Judy did and then, all of a sudden they can figure out how to get me a truck for the time I made my reservation and to no fault of mine, was inconvenienced by my reservation being altered. I just think this location needs training in customer service and going the extra mile! I never yelled and even though I was upset at the situation, I never took it out on the ladies that were helping me. But they acted as though I was the problem for asking them to help me and then figuring it out on my own.Megan T.

I called one location in Southaven to order a truck near my starting point. Later, when I received my email confirmation, I was told I had to go 30 miles north to Memphis to get it. I had it changed to different location in Southaven, only to discover they didn't carry the moving blankets I ordered and tried to rent me a dolly that I didn't need. So I had to go to the first place I called to get the 24 blankets. Slow start but everything worked out OK and the 20 foot truck performed well and was great on gas. I would recommend U-Haul for your future needs.Peter M.

I reserved with uhaul two weeks in advance but was advised two days before that there was no truck available at reserve location. What is the point in reserving? Agreed with agent to pick up at another location. Left with the truck and noticed tire was shredded. Drove back and had to wait to have tire replaced. Tail pipe had been damaged and was burning through skirt behind tire. Was told they knew about it and to drive it. Terrible experience!!Steven J.
