I was quoted $16 for insurance when I reserved the trailer online, but when I went to pick it up, I was informed that it was $24, so I declined to purchase it. Apparently the online advanced reservation and pick-up systems aren't in syncROBERT W.
While where we finally dropped off the trailer was excellent, we had to go to three locations to be able to complete the return. The original location was closed. We called the number provided and were told to just leave the trailer, which did not seem like a good idea. The next location said they were â€œfullâ€ and would not take the trailer which was not helpful. The final location was great, but it took a lot of driving around to find the good service.KENNETH K.

The U-Haul website to return your rental needs a lot of work! I returned the truck the same afternoon I picked it up. I tried to follow the instructions and failed to ever get past the initial step dealing with â€œverifying your return locationâ€. I used the â€œHelpâ€ link on how to setup/configure my iPhone to allow â€˜location verification', but â€˜failed' to ever get it working. After an hour of my wife an air both trying on 2 different phones, we face up. The upside is I checked back in at the site this morning just to make sure we wouldn't be charged the extra $20 fee, and they were very understanding and nice about the â€˜online checkin app'. That app needs helo.JOHN B.
