Not that I needed them, but I noticed that the pouch in the cargo area that is intended to contain moving blankets was empty. My understanding is the customer should request them if needed, but the empty pouch had me a little concerned that I may be subject to not returning the blankets, which I didn't have in the first place. Nota big deal, but it would be helpful to have a sign on the pouch saying something like: â€œmoving blankets available upon request,â€ or something to that effect. Overall my rental was fine though. The uhaul drove bad and was pretty dirty. The customer service was HORRIBLE. He almost had me in tears acting like I was a huge inconvenience to him. I understand I came in a bit late, but you have hours for a reason. I clearly apologized for coming late and I appreciated him helping out, but his demeanor was above and beyond rude. And the other man that was in there just stared at me the whole time. Once I came to bring the Uhaul back, he was okay. Still condescending but not as rude as before.Angela A.

While I preloaded the app and input driver license and payment for contactless pickup. The operator of the store took it upon himself to cancel all these contactless appointments and made them in person contact appointments. After waiting forty five minutes I was greated with a smoke smelling room, unmasked individual who was overly frustrated with so many people what vehicles at opening time. The comment aimed at the customers as â€œyou weekend warriors all want the vehicles early in the morningâ€. While I can emphasize with his volume of work it appears that this was created on his desire to control the flow thus causing customers to loose time on their rentals and overly frustrating the customers. The truck interior was less than clean and the passenger mirror was cracked. My thought is nothing is being maintained at this site.Kevin M.

I was instructed to call the phone number on my contact when I arrived. The man told me to pull farther up on the phone then hung up on me. I parked and went inside. The man at the desk said he was busy and would check the vehicle in later. I didn't want it checked later then get a email saying I done something wrong and owed more money. So I asked for him to do it while I was there. He grabs his coat and said let me drop what I'm doing to help you. That pissed me off so I started cussing he told me to stop cussing and I told him you don't tell me what to do. He said he was supposed to be off today the girl came in late he was overwhelmed. He did apologize to me and said he was sorry we got off on a bad start. Everything turned out okay.JOSEPH M.

Geoffrey went above and beyond to help us out. We were supposed to drop the truck off at the Greenwood Mall location, but they changed their hours without notifying me. There was a key drop box and a notice stating that there would be a $75 fee added if you drop off a truck without an employee there to check it out. I called all 3 phone numbers associated with the Mall location and nobody answered. My wife googled greenwood uhaul and we got Geoffrey who offered to bring the truck to his location and he would take care it. I would highly recommend driving a few extra miles to get professional assistance. Avoid the Greenwood Park Mall Uhaul, they are no help at all.Michael H.

The manager is very rude and condescending. It is the worst service I have ever had in an establishment. I will use Penske next time even though that U-Haul dealer is right by my house. I will go out of my way to never interact with that gentleman again. He made me uncomfortable.Kaija M.
The owner was extremely rude. He talked down to me the entire time I was working with him. I look much younger than I am which led him to lecturing me on all of the different ways I could potentially damage his truck. Going as far as showing me pictures that were taped to his office wall of college students who have ruined Uhauls. He handed me the keys and pointed out what truck was mine, but did not do a walk around to check for existing damage. When I told him that I had taken photos of some preexisting dents and scrapes, he just shrugged his shoulders and said â€œokay, take pictures,â€ giving me no confidence that he wouldn't try and pass off existing damage as something that I had caused. Also, he wasn't wearing a mask during any of our interactions, which, he has the right to do in his own business, but is nevertheless inconsiderate during a pandemic.Kimberly W.

How they talk to customers. Cleaning out the vehicles before another person gets them. Or just cleaning them often. The seats had dirt on them. There was so much dirt and leaves I took a picture before even getting in. I left and saw the low tire pressure light on. I wasn't thinking much of it, because it was cold the day before. There was leaves and dirt and small pebbles in the back. This was before I even used it. I had to clean it out before loading stuff in. I brought it back cleaning then I got it. Even the tire pressure gage was broken. But failed to let me know until after I returned it. I asked to take a picture for my records of the mileage and the guy had an attitude with me. Like I didn't trust them. I like having records incase I was accidentally overcharged. Will never get a u-haul from them. I might just rent from other places (lowes, menards, home depot) based on this experience.Christopher E.

Proprietor was very unprofessional in how he communicated. The mobile app kept crashing making it impossible to input beginning mileage prior to leaving the facility during pickup. It also crashed during no the return before explaining where the keys should go. I ended up locking the truck, and placing the keys under the visor. I did use the chat feature on the website, in an attempt at extending my rental time. I was assisted by Amanda, who helped me out tremendously. She was amazing, and very fast.Jeffrey R.
Not all lights working on the trailer. Latch was very rusted and hard to maneuverâ€¦ I am a strong man and had trouble. The operator of the U-Haul business was very rude when I dropped off the trailerâ€¦ I put it near the spot that it was; but he said you could've put it back where it was.
