I recently rented a one-way rental. As the trip started, we experienced a medical emergency and had to return. I returned the truck late (due to the circumstances) to another location. Explained the situation to a great manager, Pam. She went above and beyond to assist us. I cannot say enough about her customer service, running into roadblocks and still continuing to help us. I recommend her and her store to everyone! U-Haul definitely has a winner with this woman!! I'm sure we will need another rental in the future....this experience has sold us on UHaul. Thanks Pam!

Picked up my truck early morning. Walked into the building and it smelled like last call at a bar. Guy was rude when asked a question, and seemed inebriated. Truck had a flat tire, back had not been swept out from prior user.

Truck was clean and functional. Business portion was not impressive. Moving Accessories ordered & paid for were not ready or available when we picked up the truck, had to request refund thru uhaul and move without them, no notice or warning was given that the items wouldn't be ready for us. Called and texted location several times in the week prior to try to confirm order but no answer and no response. Drove over to the location in person to make sure the reservation was received and everything was ready to go. Was assured we were all set...no mention of moving blankets etc not being available. It all worked out, we made the best of the situation...but could have been less stressful if accessories were actually available or i had warning to make other arrangements.

The man was not wearing a mask, he smoked in there, had pets. The place just seemed filthy. The man that worked that wasn't really friendly. I would rather go to another location.

Your regional manager or someone called me to tell me that my truck that I rented weeks prior was not available at the first location, BUT they had one at this location. I went there and they did not have the truck size I needed and I had to make multiple trips to make this work. They also did not have any blankets or dolly even though who I talked to on the phone assured me they would. Not happy, and probably should have rented from elsewhere.

I've rented and drove a handful of UHaul and moving trucks. This truck was by far in the worst condition. The vehicle was beat up and torn up. Inside the cab wasn't wiped down, and you can tell that someone had previously smoked in there due to the ashes. When I did the mobile return, I put that the vehicle was not clean for the next person, and it wanted to charge me for the cleaning. I changed it to being clean enough, as to avoid a charge that I don't deserve. By far the worst experience with UHaul. On the plus side, being able to obtain and return the truck via my phone was great! It was great to not have to rush to get to a dealer before they close. I would definitely use UHaul again, just not at that location.

It wasn't so much about this location as it was the inconvenience of the uHaul location where I booked the pickup not having the key and sending me back to Greenwood to get an available truck. I had to leave my vehicle there and inconvenience someone else to take me back there to get my car. Then, the movers were there but I was late. Terrible experience!!!

First rental location didnt have the cargo van like it was supposed to. I was re routed to another location that had the cargo van. Were still waiting on our $50 refund for not having the guarenteed vehicle.

The gentleman at the desk seemed very peeved that people were coming in to pick up the rentals. He never walked the truck for damage, he never showed us where the truck was, and he just handed us keys and said "its around back". Poor service overall. The truck was fine.

The guy with a beard is most likely very good with the equipment, but customer service skills need improvement. Very short, acting like the customer is a bother. This is the second time I have used this location and same outcome each time.

Signage was in back of van & a furniture dolly was left in it, but that we did not need/order, taking up room. It was also not the cleanest at time of pick up.

The truck had the catalytic converter cut off, which I did not know at the time. There was no one at the office that I could talk to about it and I had a tight schedule I needed to keep. The people that I talked to on the telephone were not helpful. I was told that the truck still needed to be returned. I had to drive for 2 hours with ear protection on just to stay sane. I was not happy with the experience and I will not be using Uhaul again.

It was quick and easy to check in and get truck. Guy was friendly. I was originally told they didn't have a 20ft truck or an appliance dolly, but on the day I was to pick up equipment I was informed I would be able to get both. Truck was clean and in good shape. Price was reasonable fo everything

Had to call Fredericksburg, Virginia due to not able to get a hold of Greenwood..... Greenwood phone number ring several times then goes into a recording......SORRY THIS PERSON DOES NOT HAVE A VOICEBOX SET UP, GOODBYE! When my Family and I returned a day ahead of schedule.....the guy was in a hurry to leave....was not Friendly.....acted like we were a inconvenience to him. I wanted Fredericksburg to give me another place to drop off the trailer....they were not able to recommend another place. I do NOT recommend the Greenwood location.

My reservation was for a different location. I showed up to pick up my truck and it was not available. I has to drive to a different location for pick up. BOTH locations were dirty, smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and housed SEVERAL birds being advertised for sale. I umdertand that these locations are most likely franchises however uhaul should dictate some basic standards to ensure your customers feel comfortable when renting your trucks. I WILL NOT rent here again. It's easier and less expensive to go to a place such as Home Depot where you know it will be clean, welcoming, and you don't have to deal with the franchise owners side businesses.

They moved my pick up and did not allow me into the store to pick it up. Even though it was in both of our names. I was very dissatisfied with the service Uhaul gave me and will more than likely find another trucking service to use next time

The 2 owners made me wait while they loaded a piece of equipment onto a trailer and strap it down before they checked me out ( I was the only customer on site). The equipment they focused on wasn't for someone with a reservation, or on site (I reserved my moving truck 6 days in advance). They took 25 minutes. My checkout (debit card processed, given keys, reviewed terms and policy)...2 minutes. Those country bumpkins don't know their asses from a hole in the ground.

Impressed that they had social distancing procedure in place and had my stand far enough away and had a station for me to sign documents from that wasn't the counter right in front of the gentleman that helped me. Also appreciate that U-Haul has their online check-in and pay process that also reduced any unnecessary contact. Good all around!

This is a UHual comment overall. I used to be able to pay by the hour. I used a truck for 3 hours and totaled $130 and fueled up. That's ridiculous.

The application for after hours return did not function properly to allow me to complete the vehicle return so that I had to return in the morning. That was the only negative experience.

The vehicle was excellent ...brand new. I realize this location has only been open a week ... but: 1. I had to wait while the guy working the place did something outside. It looked like he was trying to get a combination lock open and really made no effort to recognize me. 2. No one looked in the truck. There were three appliance dollys, two furniture dollys and a stack of moving pads in the back end (none of which I am going to pay for), These things all took up space that I desperately needed and had to work around all of this junk. Your staff should inspect the back end of their trucks every time after use. 3. I returned the truck after dark. This location needs more light. It is a very small facility not close to much business.

Start to finish from reserving to check in was excellent customer service and eveything on rates was so clear and no mystery. John is the best as is his colleague who checked me out upon return.
