No one was there even during working hours and the location wasn't working, again, and couldn't use the digital check in.

BRADLEY B.Your app is absolutely terrible. To book online in an effort to expedite only to take 26 mins uploading endless items while your app crashes. Then to be asked for 2 contacts to answer their phone at 9am before I could get the vehicle. Absolutely terrible, it's 2023, someone fire the IT guy, streamline ..Penske only till Unhaul gets there.
Timothy R.The drivers side floorboard had dried mud on it. The attendant said he hadn't had time to clean it up and not to worry about it. When I returned the truck at my destination, I was charged a $25 cleaning fee for the mud. Also, the “low tire†indicator stayed on the entire trip. The attend t at the pick up location said the tire pressure sensors didn't work and not to worry about it.
MARK C.Please make sure that all turn signal lights on your vehicles are working. The van that I rented, the passenger rear turn signal did not work.

Tom K.Drove the truck 8.6 miles and was charged an additional $41.56. The odometer didn't match what the app said when it was picked up. I had to change it during the pickup process. Lot is on the main street, but lightning was poor. I will not use this location again.

jerome G.I have called the Uhaul Grayson Inc location everyday since I returned my rental and left a message (6 days in a row so far) with no returned calls. They billed me for a fuel charge that I should have not been billed for. Since they will not call me back, I feel like this was billed on purpose and that's the way they do business, screwing the customer after the fact.
Mark W.Didn't get the dolly I paid for. Online pickup and return is janky. Took forever, kept crashing and eventually cost me another day of charges because I completed the steps after my official drop-off time. Mostly upset about the dolly charges. Called the store, they transfered me to customer service when I waited on hold for 30+ minutes to no avail. Never spoke to anyone. I would like help please! Overall 5/10. I won't be back unless I'm in an EXTREME emergency.

Alan H.At least on this rental the overall experience was less than satisfactory. The van had a terrible smell in the cargo area and a strange stain visible in the pre-rental pictures . The cab had trash behind the driver's seat. The left front tire had a low pressure warning when I picked it up and had to put air in it.

muneer A.Have the equipment requested available. I wanted a furniture dolly and a hand truck which were not available at pick up time. I also wanted at least 12 moving blankets and iI only got 6. this was after i made the reservation 2 weeks in advance. the truck had 3/4 tank of gas, which is no big deal until you try to fill to 3/4 upon return. you always go over, may that's the reason why it's not full the only had 5900 miles on it, but it drove like it had 259000 miles on. It shook, rattled and hissed and got really poor fuel milage.

Mike M.My key was not in the lock box it was supposed to be in. When I notified the attendant. He then helped a family check in who arrived after me and I waited an additional 15 minutes. Also, all the equipment in the back of the truck was not locked with a plastic lock and I did not use any of it. I was going to tell the attendant when I dropped it off at 4 so that I wouldn't be charged, but they had already left for the day.
Nicholas K.The check out process was easy and the staff were great. The equipment was fine. However, the after hours check in process was very difficult. We tried checking the equipment in on multiple phones and the link/site failed in the middle of the checkout process many of times. After we finally got it to work, I never received a receipt via email as promised.
Hannah E.I would not recommend this location to a friend and will absolutely not be back. The man helping us in the trailer was spitting tobacco into an old Mountain Dew bottle, and was coughing so hard that he started gagging and had to go outside to throw up. He said the "tobacco dip was too strong" and it made him sick. However, the uhaul was very cleaned and well-maintained, and the price was okay. It did take about 30 minutes to get checked in, which really threw a wrench in our plans. I truly hope the man helping us was okay, but I will not return to this location in the future.

joshua B.The process to check in and return on mobile was slow and not user friendly, even though I am fairly technology proficient. I got a new ID the day before (because it's the law to when you move) and haven't received my new one in the mail. Luckily, KY gives a printout and your old one back so I could scan it still but there was no way to get around that part if I only had the printout. Then once I got to the agent for approval she had me rescan my license then the printout once I told her the situation. When I returned the truck, it wanted me to share my location to ensure I was at the correct place but the web page would not let me hit the share my location button. I had to reload like 6 times before it finally worked. Just overall annoying and made me regret not going to an in store location.
KATHRYN F.The truck had roaches in it and of course I didn't notice until the furniture I was moving was already in there and I wasn't going to risk bringing roaches into my new house so I had to throw out the furniture… will never use this again…

ed B.Uhaul messed up two reservations on two consecutive days where they "reserved" trucks that either didn't exist or were not for one way trips as had been previously assured. Instead I'm told there are no trucks available and have to travel to this location for a truck that is too large, in a lot that is too small, with a self serve system that is impractical. One top of that the truck I got its driver side mirror cracked. While many of my issues are not directly related to this location, I would say to avoid this spot if you can as it is a small parking lot with tons of hazards that make it extra difficult to get a large truck out of there. There are several dented and bent light posts there that would tell you the same.
Sean W.i was there Saturday, July 30. Lady at service booth was very helpful! Really nice and knowledgeable. The UHAUL App SUCKS however. If it didn't require stupid location services to be on to work - this staff person's job would be much easier and the pick up experience would be less frustrating for customers. I tried for 20 minutes to get the app sign in to work and kept getting the location service block. If you push customers to use this app - it shouldn't be so problematic to use.

John C.1st truck was missing a gas cap. She could not explain why. Second truck was barely above the "E" gas wise. and the boards around could not support the dolly properly. Blankets were in the truck in which I did not ask for. She said sometimes things are added on the computer automatically and they have to be fixed afterword. That is really not an acceptable answer.

James N.Oh I never was able to get the app to work to return the truck at this location. I would get to where I took the pictures and then could never continue. Not sure what the problem was. Does that seem to be an issue with the U-Haul app to return things though. This isn't the first time I've had problems.
