Nothing against the guy helping me when I got there. He was very helpful. However, U-Haul lost my reservation(twice). Once for the original trailer and once for a storage unit. I am very upset with u haul. I will not use u haul again or recommend the rental. I never received a call or message as to where I was supposed to pick up my rental. On the morning of my rental, I showed up to my preferred location and guess what, NO TRUCK! The employees was not helpful to located where my truck was. He gave me a telephone no. to call. I called the no. and after a 25-minute wait I had to hang up. My wife was able to make contact with another rental location who was able to look up my reservation but was told that my pickup was 35 MILES away from my preferred location. This place was a tire shack! When I arrived to pick up my rental the only person available was a guy in the middle of changing tires on a vehicle. When I ask about picking up my rental, he asks me to wait 10 minutes so he could finish with the tires on the vehicle. I watch him as he finally checked in the truck which had just been returned by another customer. While the truck was clean of dirt and debris there was no cleaning of the interior for the covid virus! No spraying or wiping down of the interior. I just pray that the person who rented the truck before me was not infected with the covid virus!! Not only did the addition drive time cost me time it cost me an extra 34 miles on the rental, which caused me to have to pay addition mileage fees plus the cost of fuel for that distance. I made this reservation over 3 weeks ago There is no reason that the truck I needed was not available at my preferred location. I would have made other arrangements if I had known that I was going to drive 35 miles out of my way to pick up the rental. (I'm sure that's why you didn't tell me where my truck pickup would be!) To top it off no one contacted me to confirm the location of the rental. If I had known the correct location it could have save me a lot of time. Your service is terrible!Mark R.
Owner was extremely rude and felt it was necessary to speak to me as if I was a child. I explained to him I attempted to drop the vehicle the night prior, but his gate was locked to the property. I also explained that when I looked at the hours on U-haul website it showed he would not open until 9am that next day. This would put me past my due time of 8am. He stated he was there by 8am and I stated there was no way for me to know he was going to be there at 8am when his hours were listed as opening at 9am. He also stated he attempted to call me prior to my arrival but I did not receive a call. He then stated that it was past 9am of my arrival. The time in which I arrived was approximately 915am, which was past 8am anyways even if it were to be right at 9. I stated to him that it was due at 8am anyways and didnt have a choice to be late, because I only had his listed hours to go off of. There was a delay due to traffic. The manner in which he spoke to me was very unprofessional and he felt as if it was necessary to lecture and argue with me instead of understanding I only had his listed hours to operate off of. I did not want to continue the argument so I retrieved the vehicle key from the cab, gave it to him, told him to have a good day and walked away in which he proceeded to yell at me that he was going to mark it as late regardless and I stated to him that I would deal with Uhaul instead of him.Miguel S.
Very primitive Uhaul location. Was under the impression I could pick up truck without going to counter by pre-registering. Impossible at this location. Only employee was leaving location when I arrived. Another minute and I could not have picked up truck.Robert Q.

Owners was not present, actually drove off as I was arriving, said he would be back in 10-15 mins when I called him (actually acknowledged that he had seen me as he left the lot) and was 35 mins in returning. Made me late for my pick up of furniture. Was very rude when I called back to question how he had handled the payment process. Did not explain what he was doing at the time and therefore the paperwork made it look like he charged me twice. Hung up on me when I called to question it. Very upsetting experience all the way around. Truck was good though.Tracy E.

The location was muddy, in presentable. The customer service was great, the guy who helped me was nice. Although I think the dolly rental was a bit expensive but it definitely helped for what I needed.Kenneth V.
It was 11 miles to the place that had a 10' truck. If I had known this I would have gotten a bigger truck in Loganville. It would have been cheaper. I returned it with a 1/4 tank more gas. I paid $96 for a $19.99 truck. I am livid and I have used haul all my life. I tried talking to the man where I picked it up but he wouldn't hear of it. I wanted to cancel physical damage insurance but he said I couldntSusan H.

I am a woman. It's at a tire shop on a dirt road in the country owned by a man. The owner is a nice guy, straight forward and genuine. He's a straight shooter. He doesn't try to take advantage or oversell you but he is helpful and willing to do what he needs to to help you showing you that he appreciates your business. I have rented from a lot of places, this isn't the prettiest place but I keep going back here because he is an honest guy and you feel that when you deal with him. I wrote this review for those who still values good old fashioned customer service. Just don't judge the book by its cover and you will have a great experience with him. I wish that he could train other business how to handle their U-haul rentals because I have had my fair share of train wrecks dealing with U-haul due to franchises trying to take advantage of people in need of U-Haul services and I have used U-haul in NY, Virginia and Georgia.Yvonne L.

Was in a automotive garage and had to wait for owner to take time out from working on cars. Was given key to truck and shown gas level and mileage but was not told anything else. The truck drove like it was not in gear the entire trip. I only found out after dropping the truck off in Florida that I had been driving it in tow mode and got only 8 miles per gallon in mileage. I should have gotten at least 12 miles per gallon based on past usage of trucks. It should not have cost me $200 in Gas fill ups to go 500 miles.joe W.
There is no way to describe this location other than scary. My friend who was dropping me off did not feel comfortable leaving me. In addition to the sketchy, filthy shack that was the office, the person working was unfriendly and had us wait and wait while he completed what appeared to be a personal call.Mary B.
The UHaul dealer fussed at me for arriving at 11:00 when that was the appointment time. He made us wait until he finished servicing a car before he would rent the truck to us. The UHaul Place closed at 4:30 and we arrived at 4:00 and he was nowhere to be found. We called the UHaul customer service center and was told that was our problem. He finally showed up at 4:30 and could not have been any more rude. Next time I will use Penske!robert H.

Everything was excellent. But the day before I was to turn the truck in the breaks went out. Got the red break light. I was close enough to return the truck. The rental location manager booked another truck for me right down the street so I was able complete my move. However, that was a scary experience to not have brakes.Wes R.

Good morning, **I cannot find the manager I spoke with(email). Elizabeth Richter?! I spoke with her last week concerning this issue and she stayed she would assist.*** Per our conversation on Thursday, I am sending this email to confirm the issue. Me and my family were relocating from Snellville Georgia to Maryland. When I initially called to reserve a truck, I was advised that I would get a follow-up call to locate the size vehicle that I needed. I spoke with a young lady who then advised me that she would then follow up with me as they were unable to locate the truck. I had a gentleman follow up with me to advise me that there was a truck available or 17 foot which was 30 miles from where I reside. Me and my husband went to pick the UHaul truck up only to confirm that those UHaul truck was a local truck which was upgraded from 17 ft to 20 ft. Once I received the truck the gentleman Who provided me with the truck, advised me that there was no trailer reserved for my rental nor was there the size and price that I was quoted previously. The gentleman Who provided me with the truck, call customer service spoke with a nice lady who then adjusted my pricing and advised me that they could locate me then a trailer. I ride the extra 30 miles back to my location from where I reside to only get advised that we have to go another 15 miles back out to locate the trailer. When my husband goes to pick the trailer up, he realizes that we are back in Snellville and there are trucks that were there that the other sizes that I previously needed. We went on a huge duck hunt to receive this truck which was again, a local truck to go from Snellville Georgia to Maryland. We had to fill up my truck more than the normal I'm sure I would like to be compensated for part of my move due to the size of the truck that I had which was again, a local truck. I'm asking at least for $200 for the gas I understand that I have to pay for the cost of the rental truck I understand that that's fine. So again I am asking for at least $200 compensation for my gas due to the size of the truck that I had in as many times as I had to fill up with gas. I would not recommend Uhaul due to the duck hunt that I had to go on to receive a truck, the way that I had to go about obtaining that information, for the customer service I received. once I had to return the truck , the gentleman where I return the truck was very nice.
