even though i listed my location as great there some problems. I had made my reservation for one location but it was transferred to a different location. My pick up time was delayed because another customer returned the truck almost 6 hours late. While Tim and the people at the location were great and went above and beyond to find me a truck rental the regional manager Wade was extremely rude and uncooperative. Wade offered no advice other than to go to New Hampshire to get truck. I do no live in New Hampshire nor was I moving there so that advice was the opposite of helpful. I believe Wade either needs retraining in what customer service is or find a career where customer service is not needed. Both Jay and Rumford uhaul locations and Tim get an A+ for customer service but Wade if there was an F- still wouldn't be low enoughKELLEY S.

Gilman's was very helpful and friendly. A small problem with UHaul's computer system overcharged me (system said I drove 550+ miles when I only drove 20) and then didn't recognize that I returned the van the same day.(I got a call from corporate 9 days later asking me to return the already returned van). Overall, it was an easy experience and would rent from Gilman's again.NEIL C.

I recommend both Gilman's and UHaul regularly. I also located Stephanie Hildings for UHaul when she took off from Maine with one of your trucks taking it to Florida when she rented as "local move" and had the thing for about a month. I really should have been acknowledged for my assistance.Candice C.

How about a web based check in process that actually works? I spent almost an hour trying to check in and get my rental. The system froze at least THREE TIMES, forcing me to start over each time! I finally had to wait until the facility opened to check in. I wasted time I could not afford to. I WILL NOT download the uhaul app, as it is too invasive; requiring access to my email and browsing history. NO WAY!!Robert B.

Using Uhaul.com to pick up my truck was a frustrating experience. The server froze several times requiring me to enter my information all over again each time. Not an easy task when you're typing, on your smart phone.Robert B.

I dropped off the rental a few hours late, and the return was not processed until the next day. I got charged $54.00 for an additional day. That's NOT how you treat customers and hope to get them as repeat business. I'll look elsewhere, thanks.Robert B.
I was a first-time renter and the gentleman who assisted my husband and I was very polite and went over everything. He even gave us a deal due to an issue with the truck we had wanted not being available when he said it would because it had not been returned when it was supposed to have been there.JAMIE T.

I noted that I would recommend but I hesitate. My return was not logged until 3 days later. I had to call and make it happen. That was frustrating. It made me nervous because I dropped off trailer and was told I'd get an email receipt.Drenda T.

The owner was very helpful prior to picking it up, and open to being flexible regarding pick up issues. That said, when I went to pick up the trailer, it was blocked by a truck and the place was closed - NO way to get the trailer off! Thankfully, I was able to find another trailer that I was able to get, though not without issues too.john A.
The only unfortunate thing was that we returned it a day early and we were told we could not get a refund. Not really their fault. Also their trailers were very well maintain and looked good and the one we dropped off, stuck out like a sore thumb.Aaron E.
