The location is very strange and you need to use a call box to get to the office, which is behind chain fence with barbed wire. Not a very inviting place and there isn't much interaction with the staff because there is only a service window to talk to them.Christopher S.

Do not rent from this location. We spent over an hour cleaning the cab - it was filthy. I do not like to leave bad reviews because I understand things happen but this went beyond "things happen". They hadn't even cleaned the windshield - covered in dead bugs. UHaul offered a $100 credit, saying that was the best they could do, but even that was doing as little as possible for a major cost in a cross country move. We were on a time schedule and had to spend time and energy cleaning the truck before we got on the road for a three day trek. I will look elsewhere if I need to rent the next time.Monique L.

First off. I had a reservation for WOODS CROSS rental, not salt lake city rental 20 miles away from my home. That disappeared and I had no choice but to rent TWENTY MILES FROM MY HOME I get to the place, and there's homeless people smoking across the street and had parked their campers there long term. I asked the guy about it, and he said he's never had a problem with them, but that he's called authorities about them to no avail. I returned the truck on time with a half tank of gas as instructed, clean and free of damage. When I went to pick it up, there were homeless people hanging out by the drop box and the SAME people camping out across the street, were inside the fence walking around like they had permission to do so. I go to check out on the stupid link, and it's trying to charge me for an after hours, AND FUEL fee ( brought it back at half a tank just like it was stated to do so in the contract) , when I was there trying to return it THIRTY MINUTES EARLY. So I call the customer service number and explain all this to the agent. I don't feel safe going over to the drop off, because the people hanging out there. The agent tells me to put the keys in the truck and lock the door. The agent tells me ( on a recorded line) that she can't change the billing in the system, and that she will have someone call back on the next business day. I NEVER GOT ANY CALLS FROM THEM! The next thing I am seeing is a email receipt from u-haul charging me FOUR TIMES the amount agreed on. With completely different charges than what the app said. So I call customer service AND send and email. They send me an email saying that it's a cleaning fee unspecified. I call the customer service number and waited on hold for an HOUR AND A HALF before getting disconnected on. Called back and waited on hold for another half an hour and got disconnected again. Emailed the area manager and he said it was because of rental loss and locksmith charges. Lock box access was not safe to drop it off. Customer service was rude and made it a point to interrupt my every word. Soon going to corporate. Abhorrent customer service, dishonest dealership practice. I will never rent from U-Haul again.Michelle S.

Is this a dangerous area? I arrived when U-Haul was open, but I couldn't figure out how to get in with all the fencing and security and warning signs, so I used the app instead from out on the road, which probably took a lot longer.Robert W.

Sketchy area, people camping all around on the street, hard to spot entrance and no sign of it being a U-Haul location. It's a storage locker facility. This was the only U-Haul equipment on the property when I was there. Definitely not what I was expecting, and the trailer was old, beat up, Etc.Robert J.

Excellent equipment at a great price. Mike gave us excellent service. I will definitely go back to this site to rent in the future. Be aware, though, that the office is inside a place that rents storage units.John C.

The man behind the counter/wall was helpful with the reservation but he told me to check out the two trailers in the back and pick one. He said to let him know if I needed help hooking up the trailer. I'm pretty sure that isn't uhaul policy to have the customer hook up the trailer themselves. He was just plain lazy...Kirk S.

Make your app better so we can actually check in/ out our equipment easier. Don't advertise equipment that doesn't even function in your vehicle. Example: I rented out a Dolly but that Dolly was useless to get my stuff out of your moving van. Should not even suggest it if it doesn't fit.Mallorie O.

Awful experience. Overcharged for my vehicle mileage and then had an extra $40 on top of that for not returning the tank full of gas to 1/4. I specifically took pictures of the gas meter because it was well below 1/4 when I was given the key. Fraudulent business practices they're running at the 523 W 200 N location...STEVEN G.

The app to start and end the rental process is lengthy and has too many steps. Solution: Allow a user to pre-register their Driver's License and photos ahead of time and keep that info on file for all future rentals (until license expire or address changes). Other than that, the rental of the truck went really well!Michael J.
The truck broke down on the highway 15 minutes after we hit the road. It's was 9:30 pm and we sat on the side of the highway for 5 hours while roadside assistance tried to find a tow truck. Their customer service skills were terrible. Every time we called they gave us a different ETA. The tow truck finally arrived at 10am the following morning! I will never rent with Uhaul again after this terrible experience.MARIO H.

The automated process what pretty simple and straight forward. I will say, the truck was not clean when I picked it up (sticky stuff in cup holders and seat, truck bed needed to we swept out) I stated that in my inspection before taking the truck, but I was still charged a cleaning fee.Christina R.

The location was in a tight spot, the car dolly pictures did not match the ones you guys sent for damages, the ramp pin sheared off and I had to tow strap the ramp up so I could finish my trip the representatives was friendlyMatthew H.
This was a joke of a professional interaction. We showed up to this location, which is where we were booked, had our uber drop us off and leave, and then were told they had no truck. It took us 15 minutes to even get the guy to look into our contract and then were told they texted my work phone the night before. He made no effort to help us. No email, no follow up, nothing. We were then sent to another location, which we had to order another uber to take us to, where we were told they didn't have a truck for us either. Thankfully that place was able to contact corporate U-haul, because through out all of this, we could not get through on the phone to ANYONE. We did not find any information online and no one answered a phone at the locations or at the main number. To say this was frustrating is the understatement of the century. Finally, we were told we needed to go back to the first location, they now had a truck for us. One more uber, 5 heavy suitcases moved for the third time, $50 promised in exchange for our troubles (haven't seen that) and now I will do everything in my power to never use Uhaul again! The worst part was listening to the bullsh*t message about how easy everything was. GET YOUR SH*T TOGETHER!Marcos H.

One of the verification items offered was â€œPassportâ€. It seems one could take a photo of a passport on the spot but one couldn't upload a stored photo. I didn't have a passport on me at the time of rental but it would have been nice to have been able to use a photo that was already in my phone.Laurence B.

Overall I wouldn't recommend this location. The vehicle wasn't clean. The dash was dusty, fingerprints on the windshield and touchscreen display, dirty doors, and a crack on the windshield. Considering the car has only 6000 miles on it, my assumption is the vehicle has never been cleaned. This review is during the COVID-19 pandemic, so I expected better sanitation for rentals. I like using Uhaul, but would never come to this location again, nor would I recommend this to a friend.Marc L.
