I called multiple times to extend my rental by 1 day. After multiple attempts i lÃªft a message and followed automated prompts. We were told that we were being charged 80 dollars in addition to the initial 100 deposit and the 40 for the 2 day rental. 180 for a 1 day rental late fee and fees to fill up with gas when it was over 3/4 full was ridiculous. I left feeling cheated and taken advantage of.Michelle H.
Need make sure they know all the cost was told if went over in miles that it's .40 cent a mile then on receipt they charge .96 cent a mile big difference an cost so unhappy with what I was toldDavid F.
The garage was located right at a very busy intersection. Parking a personal car to go in to take care of business was dangerous. The UHaul trucks were located down the street on a totally different lot because the garage lot was completely filled up. The guy at the garage was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was juggling many different jobs and was proficient at them all. I was very impressed with his abilities.Tracy H.

Someone's auto mechanic business - small lot overcrowded with cars waiting to be worked on. On one-way street so once you pass it trying to figure out how to get into the lot, you have to figure out how to get back around to it again. My husband jumped out of our vehicle to go ask where to return the 15-ft truck. He told us to just pull it up to the curb out front - which was clearly posted in multiple signs, "Jury Parking ONLY", being right across the street from the courthouse. We returned it a day early. The employee who had his head under a car hood, said he would look after it. Then, two days later, I receive a call from U-haul inquiring about my "overdue" truck rental. I explained about the above. He said he would contact them to get the confirmation return emailed. It finally came through later after that phone call.Sylvia P.

The Reservation was made a week prior to pick up date an reserve truck wasn't available Had to take a larger truck that in turn caused us to load on pickup truck then transfer to larger uhaul and was more fuel expense than plannedTONY H.

Truck dropped off at wrong location near Tazewell, VA (Claypool) rather than Princeton, WV. The following day we had to wait until Office opened to get keys and authorization to continue on to Princeton, causing extra day charge and fuel service. The computer locator should have reflected date U-Haul had control of truck May 28 rather than 29th. My bank account has been tied up for for 5-7 business days. Not easy to recover from due to other expenses already paid out on 6/1/19 by my bank.Evelyn M.

The service was polite. I was explained the situations and such in a timely and respectful manner. However. The location to go pick up the keys is ridiculous. There is nowhere to park because of the multitude of cars already parked to be worked on. And worst of all, I'm pretty sure they tried to scam me into giving them more money. I turned my U-haul in on time, on the same day. However, they wrote on my receipt that I turned it in two days later and charged me an extra $35. Would not recommend.Gabrielle P.
