The owner of the U-HAUL rental site was not friendly and not informative about the specifics of the products contract. We had to make a call to the rental site after we noticed 2 charges for the 1 day rental. The renter only could state that is the way the billing is done with not a clear explanation as to why ! We had to call the U-HAUL company and the agent explained the process to us and gave us a credit for the insurance the renter stated we had to take even though we told her we had very high and complete coverage with our private insurance ,as well as; AAA. This site also does not give senior or AAA discounts. My advice is to check with the U-HAUL company directly before you go to a site to rent a truck for it may save you money!!!!!!

Drove four hours for a 26 foot truck that was reserved a week ago,but when called to pick up, they told me they gave my truck to someone else. Was not nice about it or the 1800 number was not nice at all. Didn't care if I didn't get a truck or not. Went with another company for a truck and was treated wonderful.

Stephen F.I tried to arrange a pickup at a convenient location but was told the closest truck was at this location...65 miles out of my way in Monticello, MS. When I arrived to pick up the truck I had reserved, there was NO truck. They only had one dolly which was NOT what I had reserved. I then was sent another location 20 more miles out of my way in Brookhaven, MS where I had to spend almost 2 hours on the phone trying to get the only truck present. The 24/7 location at Brookhaven had poor internet connectivity, and the U-Haul representative on the phone kept trying to email to phones even though there was poor internet connection. Overall the rental process was miserable and not what I had originally agreed with but I was stranded as I had relied on the truck reservation and flown to help a family member move. I highly recommend renting from someone that is not U-Haul.

ROSE C.Not be so darn strict on the photos required for the check-in process! My phone kept saying it didn't have enough memory to save the pictures, so I had to complete the process on my wife's phone. We'd be out of luck if her phone didn't have 128gb of memory!
John G.The man "assisting" with the rental was rude and unprofessional. He was absolutely ZERO help with the rental insisting we do it through the app when there was barely and signal in the store. Said he could not do it from his end. He told several customers in front of me telling me he did not have time to help me I had to do it through the app. He then told me I would not be charged until I returned the vehicle. When I tried to show him the money had already been debited from my account he argued with me telling me I was wrong and rude. After almost 2 hours I finally was able to get enough signal to do what I needed to do through the app. This was a HORRIBLE experience. I have never met a sales associate with a worse attitude. If this uhaul had not been absolutely necessary I would have walked away.
