Service lady was rude and short.
TYLER PBoth ladies at the front desk were amazing. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. My move personally was a disaster but getting to deal with amazing ppl made the experience so much better!
APRIL RLocation was very convenient for me. Reservation process was a little awkward. I reserved online and then was asked if I wanted to change my reservation to "contactless" using the app. I said yes and downloaded the app, watched the video to learn how to pick up the truck using the app. This would be great if that's how it worked. I still had to go inside and talk to the person because the truck was not there (in the immediate vicinity). She was very nice, and I had my truck quickly after she brought it out from somewhere. I'm not sure the app communicates with the store . Anyway-got the truck in minimal time. Truck was old, dirty and had an engine light on, but it did the job we needed it to do. Used the truck for around 85 miles. Overall, fairly convenient experience. I would use this location again, unless I was driving a longer distance in which cases, I may use a full service store.
Thomas GPicking up the unit was great . The customer service person , Kim , at my pickup location was great . She was very pleasant and professional . She answered a few questions I had and was very helpful . My truck was ready and waiting for pick up , she explained the drop off procedures after hours thoroughly , which was very helpful. The overall experience was excellent - don't change a thing ! SF

Thomas SStaff could not help me with trying to get reimbursed for the oil or the windshield wiper fluid I had to buy. The staff were polite, but told me they cant help with any of it they just take the keys and check the vehicle in. I was told to use the app. Which now wanted to take pictures, but had no way of uploading previous photos to show I did not cause the damage or make the mess in the cab.

Mohsen RI will require a refund for this transaction. I was not able to get the U-Haul that I wanted the one that I wanted. It was damage and vandalized and unsafe to drive and I was given a spare.
GARRY MThe customer service I received when I picked up the truck was fabulous! I was a last minute reservation but I never felt like I was interrupting the clerk's day or inconveniencing her in any way. She explained the rental process carefully and answered all my questions, even making sure that we had a plan in case I needed to deliver the truck after hours (e.g. making sure my car was parked outside the gate not inside it). She also took a moment to point out the portion of the rental agreement that let me know exactly how much gas to put in the tank to return it to the pre-rental amount. I have rented before and never knew that was on the contract. Super helpful and looking out for me, the consumer. I really appreciated that! The lobby and bathroom were very clean. I might actually start using smaller, non-U-Haul sites for my rentals in the future.

Ragina EThe pre-registration was terrible. I pre-registered the night before with pics of my license. When I went to do pick-up, it refused to let me give my wife's phone number as secondary (one number apart) then continuously rejected good pics of my license. Thank goodness the employee was there to check me in. I was 20 minutes late to get my rental. Fix the check-in please.

ERNEST LHire better people to make the customers feel good about renting the equipment. She did a poor job with me. I was over charged. Came to rent the van for 19.99. End up spending over 70.00. Never again!!!!!!!

George JThe associate that helped me was not very good at informing me about all the different up charges. Also, she seemed very distracted. She didn't explain anything, and when things were explained, it made me think that I was being charged a certain amount. they overcharged me for gas and then tried to say that they had a valid reason to do so, it's just a lot of confusing stuff going on. I would never recommend this to anyone and I would never in my life ever again.

David PReturned the van before 24 hour time but no one was in the office and door was locked. The location did have Ring. After waiting few mins drop off the key in over night box. Few hours later I got a email with a receipt for 2 days rental. I called the 800 number to report the issue. They said they will investigate and will contact me within 72 hours.

Stephanie PThe lady was rude. She charged me $ 25 for "cleaning fee" but my truck was clean. Then when I confronted her, she said I did not fold the blankets bit this was another lie. Then she said I should call Uhaul to claim my $ 25 back. She is just miserable

Kevin GMy complaint is not with rhe local facility but rather with U-Haul corporation. I was hit wit a "Red Alert" (denied the rental) status at the very end of the check out process. I was informed i had to contact U-Haul via telephone to get matter cleared up in order to be approved for a rental that day. The last time i rented from U-Haul was June, 2023. This was about a none issue 9 months ago. Ultimately it was a U-Haul clerical error, that i was being penalized for. Why was there no communication from U-Haul in over 9 months. What is the purpose of an online reservation if this mishap is not discovered suring the reservation process.

Tanya KRate at the end was more than expected insurance did online and I couldn't find the option not except the insurance when I clicked continue the option for no insurance was not an option it put it on there anyway so won't be renting from them again so recommending to a friend not an option at least online

Charles TI was returning the truck after the location was closed. I could not get inside the fence to park in the lot as the app stated. The only option was to park outside on the road where signs said "no parking" so I felt I had no options. Also the location was not able to be reached by phone. This location made the return very difficult and unclear.

If you are in the Columbia area this is the only place I have rented from with a positive experience. Truck was in immaculate condition.

Valerie HThe pick up truck I rented was extremely dirty and dusty. My wife and myself developed severe headaches from driving it. Even though we paid for insurance I did a walk around and every concern I had, had an X on it. I was impressed by how thorough the location was and did not bother taking videos or pictures of both the interior or exterior. BIG MISTAKE. I took pictures of the odometer just to have a record of the mileage. Unfortunately after returning the truck an hour later I received three separate receipts the third with a $25 cleaning fee. I called to inquire about it and I was told I spilled something on the driver side floor. I did not eat nor transport anything in the vehicle to leaving any stains. I pry myself on being an honest person and this accusation really hurt. I took time out of my busy afternoon to go back and clean the so called mess I made. I took care of it and I am yet to get a refund for the cleaning fee. The lady at desk was adamant I caused the stain and was not helpful.
