Be clear about checking in on your phone. I was told to have it back by 3 and put the keys in box. Nothing about having to check it in myself after hours until I got a text reminder.

We were transferred to 3 different stores even through we had a reservation. B/c of this our movers weren't able to help, and we had to do the move with just the two of us. Worst experience with Uhaul ever. I even went into the 1st Uhaul location ( Uhaul Store at Bulldog in Provo) that we choose on the reservation and asked them to confirm the reservation. They said everything was setup, but then gave away our trailer and acted like we were the ones who showed up to the wrong location. Then sent us to another store that didn't even have the right equipment, so we had to drive 20 min to the Fleming Storage where we had to wait for them to open which was 30 min. The gentleman was very nice, but our order was messed up because of the Bulldog location who added two extra days on our account and charged us which we didn't ask for, so we paid for two extra days and have asked 2 different people to refund the money. Really a terrible experience. Why did I even bother making a reservation it would of been cheaper to just walk in.

The phone number for the Springville U-Haul did not work. I called the 800 number and the person from U-Haul also called and could not get through. When I asked what I could do the reply was nothing. I had to make another trip back yo the Springville U-Haul to confirm everything was ok with the truck that I had returned the evening before. It was 4PM and no one was there. A person who worked next door told me to call him on his cell phone. I did and he did answer and said the truck was fine. When I brought up the number did not work that was on the web site and with U-Haul headquarters he shrugged it off and said he had done U-Haul for 25 years and there is no problem. Well there is a problem and please contact this location to get a number that works for your records and for your clients.

Drop off representative waited for me after closing and even helped me drop the trailor

Improve safety and maintenance of the equipment! Fleming's is great and I've used them several times for Uhaul rentals. However, I rented an Auto Transport and didn't find out untill I loaded the vehicle onboard that the trailer had one flat tire on each side (front tire on one side and back tire on the other). You couldn't tell there was a problem because of the dual axles masking the problem. It would have been sure disaster if I tried to tow. I had to unload the towed vehicle, take the trailer and inflate the tires, and drive back to re-load the towed vehicle onto the trailer once it was safe to use. Good thing I knew what to do - someone could have been killed if they tried to use the equipment how i got it.

The owner of this location was ridiculous. He insisted that I did not have a truck reserved after I’d already done the self checkin and seen the truck in the lot. I had to call the corporate number and have them tell him my truck was there. He was still rude even after finding he had made a mistake. He later called and told me he had accidentally left a furniture dolly in the truck that I needed to bring back. I told him I would, and he told me the office would be closed, but I could leave it behind the office. He made sure to know that he had cameras and so he’d be able to see anything I did while I was there.
