No improvement needed for this location. Everything/one was on point. UHaul Corporation, however, needs to be upfront and honest about that extra deposit they hold on your card if the gas is not replaced. An additional $75 hold was placed on my card and when i called about, i was told that they did not see that extra hold. Thank goodness i had the extra available on the card. Otherwise, my rental would not be approved. At the end, I got all my deposit back. Just let us know so we can plan accordingly.

No one was dedicated to assist UHaul customers so we had to wait quite a while until we could pick up our dolly. They were very nice to work with however once someone assisted us.

I was charged an extra $22.46 that I was told was a deposit and I have not been refunded. I was told the gas tank was full it was not!!! I returned it full, the attendant was very friendly but obviously not experienced enough with the truck .

It let me order a pick up truck, but this location doesn't have one. No reflection on their service though, they checked me out, no problem. However, the price changes because the 10 footer costs more for flat plus mileage.

The person who helped me did not know the UHaul procedures. She had to keep asking someone else.

First Choice Market in Walsenburg was excellent. I rated the experience average because I initiated the U-Haul rental agreement online and requested a tow accessory kit for 24.95. I received a confirmation by email and called U-haul the next day to change the pickup date but the phone rep said that there was no reservation. I asked several questions and what she said was, "If there was a reservation I would see it, but I don't see it, so there is no reservation. I would see it if it were canceled and I don't see it." She made me a reservation and when I asked to add the tow kit, she said that she could not add that and I would have to get it at the location of pickup. Then, that evening or the next day I got a confirmation that my tow accessory kit had been shipped to me. This, to me, was all quite incredulous but really had nothing to do with the First Choice Market who were wonderful in getting our auto transport hooked up.

The truck had not been cleaned before I picked it up and appeared to have been used to transport landscaping supplies. The floor of the box was covered in peat moss.

Make sure your mileage calculations are right. Instead of charging for extra mileage later. Make it clear on your website that those greats are only in town. And, when we called customer service to change drop off locations we were on hold for 20 minutes. Sorry don't think I'll be using Uhaul in the future.

Hire more customer service people. I spent way to long on hold. I hate voice mail and messages telling me how important my call is to you, while I sit on hold. It is obviously not very important.

It took hours to pick up the truck. No one could find my reservation which I had made well in advance. It was lucky that I got a truck at all. It was a disaster of disorganization and ineptitude

I needed a trailer when we ran out of room in the 26 foot truck. But the computer would not let the clerk add a trailer to my existing contract. He had to call a higher up person in Uhaul to override the computer. Thus the process took well over an hour to rent the trailer.

Had some issues with an after-hours drop off that caused some confusion. Not sure if there is a way to confirm drop off after hours but that would be helpful. They were quick to get it fixed on their end but it took a little figuring out. Overall everything went well.
