stop doing uhaul, a place like that gives any business a bad name. not to mention the incompetence of the people operating it, literally werent able to do a new order on their own i had to sit in my car and do a reservation first. the condition of the vehicle was bad enough to make me feel bad for the guy i dropped it off at, with the bugs and awful smell of the cab i hope he didnt catch anything. also the gas tank was at half on pickup, so i spent 50$ in gas to avoid a fine for a 120$ rental.Brittany S.

I received a text to drop it off at a different location and I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this location. It was not a nice location and the person at the counter was not friendly. When I asked if he wanted to go look at the truck with me he said no and just said give me the keys.Kurt H.

The truck roof leaked, there was urine in the cargo area, trash & dirt in the cab. The truck was very hard to shift between drive, reverse and park. I've rented Uhaul trucks many times. This is definitely my worst experience and truck.Vanessa W.

WHY WAS I CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $32??? Just seeing it on my card. No one mentioned anything. Truck returned in time! Truck returned clean!! Truck returned with same 1/4 gas!!! Truck was rented out again IMMEDIATELY after I returned it!! I did not get an email or receipt that closed out my rental!!! I questioned the store clerk on this and he told me I would receive it don't worry!! I WANT MY $32 TEFUNDED!!! I DONT OWE UHAUL THAT MONEY!! SOMETHING IS NOT TIGHT!!!!Lajuan G.

The vehicle smelled really bad, cigarette ashes all on the dash and surrounding area. I had to sweep out the back before I could even put my items inside and the floor was really dirty. I asked the gentleman would I be reimbursed because of using less mileage than anticipated and he didn't know the answer and knew nothing about uhauls policy. Will not use this place again.Maudie H.

We reserved a 15 ft. truck for Sunday Morning at 10: 00 a.m. Truck wasn't there. The manager said he didn't have another 15 foot truck but we could have a 20 ft. One and pay more. We had to call the main office which took precious time and aggravation. The person we finally spoke to finally gave us one but was still higher than the original quote. The truck was way too big and almost impossible to maneuver in an apartment complex. It was a terrible experience and we didn't even get all our stuff. We had to turn in the truck and use a little pickup to get the rest. We will not use U Haul again. It will be Penske.Roy F.
Owner very nice man. Helped me get reservation pulled up on his phone. Walked me through registration. Unit had several items left inside - small - but still needed to be cleaned out. Owner of this lot would not help me hook up trailer. Did not go over any info I should know. Busy running his store and said they just got the trailers at this site so he could not help me with info. Lot had tall weeds and grass burrs around trailer. Back roll up door hard to open... kept sticking in place and had to be forced up or down. Outside of unit also very dirty - road grim.Joseph R.

I had to hook up the trailer by myself with my daughter..we had to pick them toungue of the trailer off the ground and put it in on the hitch just the two of us and it was heavy..the guy just stood at the back of the stores and watched us...He never said anything about a link I would receive to use to check the equipment before I left the location...Crystal B.

It took almost 20/25 minutes to get the keys to a truckâ€¦ everything was being done from a mobile phone which kept freezing when we would try and put in payment info!! The guy literally just handed us the keys without coming outside to look at the truck with us so my husband and I recorded a video upon picked up and once again at drop off because there was visible damage to the outside of the truck and a headlight was out!Braisly P.

If you need 2 trucks, I would get a separate contract for dollies and each truck, if you need the dollies on another truck too. Return and close out is moronic. I had 3 trucks. Dollies in the 3rd truck. We emptied the first and tried to return the 1st truck. UHAUL process of return required us to go back and get all of the equipment to close that contract. They couldn't just move the order to our other trucks. Not Fast Stop's fault. Could not reach regional manager for 3 hours. It's UHAUL. The Fast Stop folks were friendly, tried to reach their support at UHAUL 6 different times.ernie H.

Fix your App. I got to the location and started the return process. After taking 15 pictures of the odometer and fuel gauge, I had to go inside and show the guy one of the pictures I took because the app wouldn't accept them. Seriously, I will hire movers next time just to avoid the headaches.JoDee S.

The "check-in" system must be improved. I walk into the "pick-up location" which is a gas station and have to "check-in" with the U-Haul consultant via the gas station clerk's cellphone. It was very unprofessional and the cell connection was very spotty and I had to repeat myself many times - and my personal info was still recorded incorrectly. The person was very pleasant though. Once I was finally ready to get the vehicle, the clerk handed me a set of keys and did not tell me which vehicle was mine. I finally found it and the front was dirty with a sticky liquid in the cupholders. Lastly, I only had the vehicle for 1-2 hours and only drove 17 miles yet I was charge $18 for 4.4 gal of gas. This clearly makes no sense, the meter barely moved and unless the Uhaul gets <4 miles/gal I was outrageously over-charged for gasoline. I should not have been charged for any gas, I have photos to prove that.area W.

The location is in a very sketchy spot. The employee at the location knew nothing about uhaul and gave me a different phone number to call. After about 30 minutes of waiting for a callback, I figured out how to get the uhaul on the app.Paul T.

This location was on plantation was great! My complaint is the location for location 231 W 2nd St. Freeport, TX. My reservation was moved because Plantation didn't have the equipment I reserved. When Uhaul customer service transferred me to Freeport, I got bullied, judged, and disrespected by the clerks on shift. I informed them that I was a transfer from Clute, but he wanted to redo a whole reservation. I told him no, because I will pay for the extra miles from Freeport to Clute. I informed him that I was also a dealer and I could show him how to use my original reservation. AFTER SHOWING HIM MY UHAUL ID, he says I came into his store trying to scam and steal. If I was doing that, I would have never paid for my chips with my debit card. I felt targeted by his verbiage and actions as to where he felt I couldn't be a dealer. Ill never step foot in this location again after my AFM contacted me and informed me that the clerks sent in pics to the Uhaul office. This was too embarrassing and he should never judge anyone. I didn't ask him or Uhaul for nothing. I was a paying customer.VICTORIA F.
I think dollies should be included on every truck. Just make the price of the rental $49.95 a day. Most people moving will pay because they have too. And it will help alleviate injuries of people that don't normally lift things all day. And the wrong way I might add. It's a safety thing.Bobby H.
