Pickup was at 12:00. I arrived at 11:57 and the guy was walking out the door. He said they closed at 12 - he was leaving without even calling me as a courtesy. I had also called the day before to confirm and was not warned that they closed at 12:00. Had I arrived 5 minutes later I would not have been able to pick up the truck. Ridiculous

Customer service complained about not getting to eat his breakfast because he had so many appointments. I had been quoted differently than Kemper St and he made comments about how they didn’t care about their work and he hated going over there unless he was changing out a tire. He also said he was not run well and didn’t understand how they could still be opened. He did give excellent tips about returning the truck clean and making sure it was fueled up properly.

Explained the tire issue and significant delay in roadside assistance response. The attendant had the opportunity to offer some type of accommodation for the delayed repair but chose not to?? I have used Uhaul for 2-16 hr rentals in the past 12 months, but after this experience can not see using Uhaul again.

First, csr was super pushy for insurance purchase. The truck leaked in 3 places and damaged my boxes. Nothing inside was lost but was frustrated with al the water. It’s why a got a UHaul. To avoid the water. Disappointed.

David assisted us at this location. He was very kind and extremely helpful. However, he did not input our drop off location correctly and that caused us a lot of trouble at the end of our trip.

U-haul changed the pickup location at the night before I was to pick up the truck. Another 10 miles of driving, further from the moving address, only 1/4 tank of gas, and the service guy there was SLOW. Despite using the express checkout feature of the U-haul website, it still took 40 minutes to check out, and no other customer was there. U-haul's business model of sub-contracting truck locations is not User-friendly, and can be very time -consuming to deal with when they change pickup and drop off locations on the fly.

well i was ripped off by your company i had trouble with uhaul it kept cutting off and i got stuck in it and it was dirty had not been cleaned i tried to call your after hours number on hold for over hour then got hung up on.then tried to call back no one ever got on phone.i had to be pulled out of yard because I was stuck i spent 150.00 to get pulled out of yard then i spent 30.00 cleaning it and put gas in it.and it kept cutting off on way back so no im a very very unhappy customer it is not right how big companies take advantage of people.the yard that got damaged is goin to cost me over 300.00 to fix so i am and will never recommend u-haul ever i endend up getting 1.59 back from 100.00 deposit the move was 1 load and 2miles from a to b i had to travel all those miles because local dealers did not have the one i needed and the other dealers never answered there phones.so no im not happy.my phone number is 434-229-2599

Better understanding of policies to answer customer questions. Also, truck was issued with 3/4 tank of fuel. Tried to refill truck to 3/4 tank, but fuel gauge was stuck between 1/2 and 3/4 levels. I kept filling and it suddenly jumped from 1/2-3/4 to full. This may have been a fluke, but this caused me to add more fuel than necessary to fulfill the contract.

I am happy with Falwell Airport...not so much with Uhaul. I returned the truck after hours (which I had sceduled), but because I didn't go onto some phone app; I was charged for a second day. I will only use Uhaul if another source for truck rental isn't available in the future.

This was a very convenient drop off location. It was closed at the time of drop off, so I did not deal with anyone.

My only "complaint" is that the truck we rented was not available for the location we wanted and therefore we had to go out of our way (about an hour) to pick it up. Trucks should be where promised.

this site was out of way for pickup. your employee was late showing up. there was a uhaul site that was just 2 miles from where I was loading, but I was sent to this one which was much further away. with more than a week in advance reservation, you would think you could have been more accommodating

I wish you would just build the insurance in to the cost and tell everyone you do it to protect the client. Every time I rent from Uhaul, it seems like a scam to have to add insurance because of the fear you place in the event something happens. At least pick up the insurance for a trailer.

Arrived at the appointment time, no one there. Called the 800 number, was on hold for 10 minutes, male answered, gave him information, he put me back on hold. 15 minutes later, I hung up, called number again, and got a female, she had me search the cab for the keys, no keys. Then she asked if lock box anywhere, found one in the building airlock, got key. Almost an hour of my time wasted.

This was not the location I selected. It was across town by a local airport. When I got there, they did not have the correct number of furniture pads I reserved and were completely missing the dolly I reserved. The truck also didn't have enough gas for the trip I was going to make so I had to fill it up. Overall, between the extra distance and the refilling, I ended up being an hour late meeting the movers back at my apartment. The person who rented me the truck also told me that if I returned it with more gas than it had, they would issue me a credit. When I returned the truck, they told me that wasn't true, but eventually refunded me some of the gas money as a courtesy. U-haul did call me back about this but just said that this is the way it works.

Not a thing! David Williams was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We lost a reservation in Manassas Park. At the last minute our reservation was ‘moved’ to Maryland from Virginia??? We found the Falwell Airport location to be EXCELLENT!! But, your after hours support sucks. YOU NEED A NEW LOCAL SUPPORT SYSTEM. People that know the region of the rental locations. Seriously, I am PMP customer service expert, and honestly you have a problem with your reservation support system. Go local or you may not be #1 for long. And thanks to the Falwell Airport team, for their great service!!! We had almost given up and borrowed a family trailer 4 hours away.

I was very disappointed with the service we received. After scheduling a pickup location 2 weeks in advance, we receive an email at 10pm the night before moving, saying that our truck was located in a town almost 2 hours away from us. Thinking this had to have been a mistake, we arrived to the location we made the reservation for, where there was the size truck we needed sitting there, and were denied our truck for moving. After hours of calling around and searching, with no luck finding another large truck, we had decided to settle on picking up a smaller truck that evening. Three hours after our original pickup time of 8am, we called uhaul to reserve a truck for that evening or the following day. After being told by them several times there was no 26ft available in our area that day, all of a sudden there was one available. We ended up finally picking up the 26ft that had been sitting at the place we went to first that morning, where our reservation originally was. When we asked what happened, no one could give us an answer. According the guy working at the pick up site, there was another reservation for that truck at 9 am, which apparently was there one minute and kicked out of the system the next. I don't blame this guy, however. It was a huge mix up and mistake on Uhaul's part, which cost us several hours, able bodied movers, and a lot of headache. And of course, no one at Uhaul cares enough to actually apologize or remedy the situation. Needless to say, I will not be doing business with them anymore. Which I'm sure they don't care about either.

The location is great and people are helpful HOWEVER I am sick of Uhaul hidden fees and unorganization at the cooperate level. This is the third time things were not communicated to me/equipment was unavailable/my order was messed up. You would think with a company as big as uhaul the computers would be able to reserve equipment ACTUALLY present at the store... or even know what’s available. I will likely not be using uhaul again and telling all of my friends to choose another company instead.

I have rented several times as well as family and friends. No one really gets what they ask for even when reservations are made days in advance. You should not call people the day before to tell them to go to another location for pick up. Having to stop immediately for gas because the fuel is low. So it wasnt the location the rep was awesome.

I did a self check in at 7am because the Location did not open until 8am, and there was an issue with the self check in that told me it couldn’t verify and I had to wait until the location opened up at 8am, which was very frustrating because I did not live close by. Thankfully I was able to call and they helped me out.

I was angry I had to go to that location because I reserved at Timberlake I was told they were closed at my pick up time and to go somewhere else. Then another place to get an adapter to a hit h which I shouldn’t have had to purchase when I reserved the one. ThAt went with my hitch and then they charged me for the day I wasn’t even able to pick the trailer up cause it was closed!!

As previously stated. This location was wonderful once we received our truck. However the way this company as a whole handled things and screwed us over with our truck rental was absolutly unacceptable. I am extremely dissatisfied with U-haul as a whole.

The young girl who helped us was nice and offered to clean out the nasty dirt filled back and cab of the truck. That should have been done before we arrived, not offer to do it after we complained. The cab stunk like smoke and it took 1/2 a new can of Clorox wipes to clean the cab out well enough that I would actually want to sit in that seat for a long period of time.
