Worst! We picked up a 20 ft box truck and had to have an additional 6x12 trailer added at the Michigan location - the staff was VERY HELPFUL at that location. I was told we can drop off this rental anytime and use the app to update the drop off. We returned the truck and trailer a day early and were told at drop off that WE had to lift the trailer off the truck and un hitch it!! This is beyond insane!! Even for a liability reason alone - I am a 66 year old female and was told by this person that I HAD TO UN HITCH THIS TRAILER MYSELF!! Are you kidding me??? Not only do I have no idea how to do this but the weight alone to lift it off the back of the truck is insane!! My boyfriend had to do it- the attendant there said it was the responsibility of the CUSTOMER to do this!! My boyfriend did this and now has a pulled muscle in his lower back - this is so crazy to be expected to move and un hitch a trailer- the pick up location used a piece of equipment to hitch it and we are supposed to know how to do this and lift it ourselves?? My boyfriend was driving the truck and I asked the attendant if I was driving - a female - would I be asked and expected to do this and his answer was YES - It's the responsibilty of the customer to un hitch a trailer. As I stated before - this is insane and if we had done the drop off after hours we would not have had to deal with this. We were finished with the equipement so we returned a day early only to have this hassle -

I'd pull all my trucks from this dude. It looked like a horror film could have been shot here. My bathroom is bigger than this place. It's old, dusty and is not where I think U-Haul should continue to do business. Attendant said he was unable to help with a follow up issue and said it was uhauls problem. Wait what??? If you're representing U-Haul then yes it's your issue to make sure my issue gets resolved. Guy didn't even go outside to inspect my truck. It was like I was inconvenience him. Is this really the experience U-Haul wants? Luckily I took tons of pics and a before and after video of the truck. I certainly didn't trust this location at all

This location was horrible. My truck was guaranteed to be ready by 9:00, and the lady at the store didn't arrive until 9:15. Upon opening the store, the inside was not organized at all; there was stuff everywhere. Then, there were issues with her internet, and my reservation wouldn't pull up properly. On top of that, her English was horrible, and any miscommunication appeared to be entirely my fault. She kept stopping during the process to help other customers with their lottery tickets because that apparently seemed to be a higher priority than getting my truck out. I finally was able to leave at about 10:00 in a truck that had the check engine light on.

Paperwork and hookup took maybe 10 minutes in and out. Drop off took 3 minutes in and out. Equipment was well maintained and worked flawlessly.

I was 10 minutes early, and the store owner was 10 minutes late. I didn't leave until 10:30 because of switching extremely difficult to release straps on the first tow dolly. After I began to leave, I saw damages and needed to verify with the owner. I was NOT given enough time on this one way and at $400 for 35-mile move, that is not good business for forced 1-day move on a 70-year-old person on SSI.

I reserved the trailer over the phone and gave all of the required info but when I got to the store the employee said I had to do it all over again. That part of the process was extremely annoying. The waiting while he entered my info and asked me the same questions I had answered over the phone. I also asked/paid for 1/2 dozen pads and when I got there for pickup he informed me he didn't have any. I had to go to another Uhaul dealer in the next town to get some. It would be nice if supplies were listed as available or not available by your stores online so being surprised, which turns to anger, when the customer gets there.

I returned the truck almost 24 hrs early and with 100 less mileage than on the contract, but I still get charged the full amount. I spoke with customer service and they explained to me the price is based on the destination's distances. So I got OVER quoted and not refunded my money when I went 100 miles and 24 hours less than the expected dates. I rent quite a bit from U-Haul, but this will deter me in the future for recommending or using this service.

Uhaul changed my original pickup location in Jacksonville Fl to one in a rural area half an hour from town. It was at a tiny convenience store with only one employee and poor access to get a large truck in and out. We actually got stuck pulling out of their lot. The tow truck driver said this has happened multiple times before.

The drop location in the back of the store is very wet. It's in a low lying area. It's nothing the operator could fix quickly or cheaply. This condition could lead to someone getting stuck back there.

Attendant wasn't very professional. Acted like she didnt want to walk around and inspect truck for damage prior to me taking it. She had me move other trucks around to make room to get truck out i was renting. Ive rented from other uhaul places before, so i was already in the system. However it took way longer to get "paperwork " done and returning truck took longer! The back of the truck stunk like someones nasty house. Ill NEVER use this location again or reccomend it to anyone

The lady was nice until she had to step out to check the miles on the truck. She called her daughter to watch me and my daughter while she stepped outside. As if we were going to take something. The store had other customers in the store, but she didn't ask for them to be watched. It is very sad when you can't walk in an establishment without being disrespected. U-Haul should consider moving their establishment somewhere else.

Make sure that employees know what they're doing and fix your website. There's no reason that I should have to pay an extra hundred dollars when I tried to bring the truck back and no one was there to get it.

The rental rate for a one day oneway rental is high. I paid 134.00 for a oneway Glen St Mary Fl to Pensacola Fl for a 6x12 enclosed trailer. I feel that is too high.
