This location was actually a little scary. Store smelled of different types of smoke and was not inviting. Person we returned vehicle to just took the key and told us we would get an email. Did not look at vehicle or equipment or anything while we were there. Made us a little nervous. Better training or higher expectations of people representing your company might help.Allison A.

My original pickup location was an hour drive from where I said I could pick it up. I didn't find out until about 6:30 the night before I was scheduled to pick up the truck. The trailer I had a reservation for was not available until after I was planning on leaving so my wife and I had an extra vehicle to drive for awhile. I had to talk to three different customer service people before I got anyone that helped find a Uhaul that was closer to my location. I was pretty irritated by all the shenanigans I had to go through. The reservation I made apparently didn't mean much to uhaul.Jared B.

The location was fine once I got there. Uhaul sent me a link to the location to pick up. I clicked that link. It took me 20 minutes in the wrong direction to a separate uhaul center before I tried to do the phone check in and it told me I was not in the right location. Once getting to the location it asked for things such as lease agreements and passports. This could have been completed much earlier than when I was in the parking lot trying to leave with the truck. By the time I received the keys and left I was 50 minutes late and into my attempted uhaul experience. The pickup location was fine. Uhaul was difficult.Cameron A.

While this was good, my booking was originally for 400 State Street for an after hours booking, and arriving at 8:30pm, and with a receipt confirming my after hours pick up, there was no truck available. I spent 30 mins on hold before being cut off, and a further 30 mins with a second person before getting relocated to EZ Food Market. When I left the location in Rochester NY I told the attendant that the gas that was indicated on the sheet was not the same as was in the truck...he told me not to worry about it. I drove from Buffalo to Rochester and stopped and put $25 dollars of gas in the truck to put the indicator back where it was. When I got to Buffalo they charged me another $32 dollars on gas...so it cost me $57 dollars to go 70 miles plus the cost of the truck. Do even if I only got 10 miles to a gallon ...that's 7 gallons or about $25...how did it get to $57....total rip off!MARKF C.

It took 40 minutes to get into the truck using the online method, waiting for the attendance to ensure his store was covered and the dolly was not in the truck and we had to wait to ensure it was billed before we got it. These delays caused us to be late getting it back and charged double. I requested the charges be reviewed, but you can imagine my surprise to see it cost twice as much.Jamie W.

Attempted to drop off at 9 pm the night before it was due under the 24/7 policy. The lot was overflowing with small sports cars/sedan/coupes coming in and out what seemed like every 5 minutes, like something out of a fast and furious movie. There were a ton of people just standing around, cars parked all over the lot blocking spots for the U-Haul, etc. It's also a gas station and there wasn't any room to park or drop off the truck. The person picking me up was so scared of the area/traffic/loitering people that we ultimately ended up leaving the truck parked across multiple spots (the only place it would fit), locked it, and took the keys. Came back in the morning to complete the drop off. Would never recommend anyone drop off at this location again, it was extremely unsafe.Riley C.

I got there, first person at the counter, who was doing not dealing with any customers, just pointed to the other other person at the counter who was dealing with another customer also, just told me to give him the key to the truck. He didn't talk to me other than that, he didn't check the vehicle with me, or talk to me more than telling me to give him the key. You can start by making an app that actually works, instead of an app that is only conducive to causing headaches and giving errors. I can't even begin to describe how much more painful the moving experience was because of how incredibly awful it was too both pick up and return the vehicle. I will never be using Uhaul again. The process of moving is already an inferno, and you guys only made it that much worse. Next time, I'll drag my furniture across the city. That would be more fun.Yanssel G.
