RAKESH PATELI got charged for more miles than I used, along with insurance I didn’t ask for. I dropped the Uhaul off 4 hours before it was due back, and the guy who handles the Uhaul was not in. I left keys and truck with associate. I later returned to make sure check in was okay and was told he was still not there. He won’t answer my questions about the return of money I am missing. Very unprofessional.

EDWARD LOVANThe front desk person was chewing gum, whistling and never went over any of our charges. “Always” and I mean “Always” tell them “NO” extras of anything cause they will charge you without you knowing of these additional charges and they have plenty of extras they will put on your receipt. I’m sure they get commission on these extra fees they pad on but this is so not right for the consumer. I never was mentioned of any of them until after you notice your receipt and your card done been charged. I tried to dispute charges at the location that charged me and the manager never pulled up my account and was very unprofessional and rude!! If you simply want just the Uhaul charge and no extra for this, please tell them this as the first thing you mention to the representative!!!!

HUNTER AHLQUISTThe truck was not in good mechanical shape. The front end shook the entire trip and was difficult to handle. It was hard to start and used an excessive amount of gas, causing me to think the engine had not been maintained in quite some time.

Kenneth WoolfSpecifically for the trucks, I'm surprised with the advancement of engine technology, uhaul has not yet adopted more fuel efficient engines in their trucks. For families moving long distances, the fuel usage can be a heavy burden.

William BondThe owner of the business cursed at me because his door was not working properly it hit the door stop by accident. He even told me to get the f—k off his property and told me he wasn’t going to rent me a truck. I have never been so insulted in my whole life. I have to deal with customers in my job and if I ever talked to them like the owner of the property did me I would be fired. The truck ran great but it was covered in dirt. You could barley see out of the windows. It will definitely make me think before I rent another uhaul again. Especially if I see that address as a pickup location.

And not just this time but every time I have some sort of issue

When I dropped off the rental my charge was higher than what was estimated.I was charged insurance without being asked if I wanted insurance. I asked if I was charged for insurance and was told no an to just look at my email. The gentleman could not tell me why the amount was higher. “Just look at the email” he said. When I did look at the email it was at that time I noticed the charge for insurance. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN.

Mark WebsterThe drop off place appeared to be just an empty gravel lot, no signs indicating an office at all. After some phone calls to other drop off places they did inform me that the office was a motel desk at the corner of the block. They tried to be helpful but when they told me that my car was ready to be driven off the dolly the car wouldn’t come off. After I exited my car and inspected! I found that the safety chains were still connected to my car possibly causing damage to my undercarriage and/or installed equipment under there. When I informed them about the chains they went about disconnecting the chains and telling me to go ahead and back my car off, I rechecked and found that they had only disconnected one of the chains. They were totally uninformed on the procedures of loading and/or unloading the car dolly. They did try to be helpful but, again, may have caused damage to my vehicle due to inattentivness or being uninformed. Due to bad weather(ice), I did return the dolly one day late and I was unquestionably charged for that extra day. Uhaul does dictate safety first when questioned about late returns and promises to work with customers in such cases. This place did fail me.

When I went to pick up the truck the owners son had to get him out of bed for me to get the truck i had reserved. I had reserved 4 dozen pads also but they only had 28 on hand. We had to go to another location to fill our order for the pads.

Dennis NevilleAfter making all arrangements on the Internet with a UHaul dealer in Burkburnett, Tx we were disappointed when it was changed to a dealer in Wichita Falls, Tx because the Wichita Falls location did not honor the Burkburnett contract I created on the website. He charged us $75 extra for insurance we did not sign up for. The cab of the truck had food and grass on the floor. All equipment was is perfect working order -no problems there.
Weldon FarmerI had to wait because there was no one available to take care of Uhaul rental at 8am when I arrived as scheduled. Costs were not explained to me and I ended up paying for insurance coverage that I actually didn;t need or want. Not happy.
