The woman who helped us seemed annoyed the entire time and she gave us keys to a uhaul that didn't work. Once that was sorted we had no problems with the actual uhaul. My issue was with the woman who helped us and how she charged me for a lock she never gave me. I had gone back to buy a lock since the one we had didn't fit. I paid $16.95 I believe, she opened it then went to show me how it worked only it didn't fit. So instead of giving me my money back she gave me a small master lock someone left on one of the uhauls. I told her it wasn't worth what I paid and either wanted the lock I paid for or my money back. She responded by saying “well now you have a lock that works” and walked back inside. I went to speak to her about it again only there was about 4 or 5 people waiting to be helped and I needed to start loading up the truck so I had no choice but to leave. I feel like this woman ripped me off and I'd really like my money back esp because that cheap lock she gave me only made it about 150 miles before breaking. It was way to thin and should not have been used on a uhaul.

We are a business, with an online account. Everytime we rent a truck, the dealer changes the name on the rental to that of the driver. We CANNOT have the drivers name on our receipt as the renter. 1) Because he is not the renter. 2) Because we will not get reimbursed.

It was raining very hard when I picked up the 12ft trailer and was told by the UHaul employee that she was told to not hook up any trailers during the storm. It was raining VERY hard afterall, and I understood that, plus I saw no one else helping here there at that time. The problem I had was that it was my only opportunity to pick it up, or have to wait another 2 weeks... which was not an option. I told her that I would hook it up myself if she would allow me to get it then. She checked with her boss via phone and he said it was ok as long as she made sure it was hooked up correctly. I will say that your 12 ft trailers are VERY heavy, and they truly do need a jack stand, but that is the only complaint I have. If it had not for the polite lady and her generous boss allowing me to get the trailer during the only opportunity I had, I could not have made my trip. I am very thankful they did that for me.

Please check the gas hand before charging customers. I was charged for gas both time i rented from this location, even after putting the gas hand back to the same place it was at when I picked up the truck.

The only problem we had was the U hauls we're always in the way when backing up to the door , but the staff was there to make room other than that our experience was great will highly recomend your units.

I have been incorrectly charged $118. There was no reason for this to occur. The location I was instructed to return the truck to on a Sunday, was closed. I called this location on Saturday to see if it would be ok to turn the truck in there due to the other location being closed. Was told that was fine. The truck was turned in before the time frame, with more gas than what it had when we picked it up, we were well under our mileage limit, and the truck was swept and cleaned out before returning. I had to call twice to get a refund on this matter. It should have never been charged in the first place.

The people at the location mixed up my truck with another that was returned the same day and put the wrong gas mileage in causing me to be charged an EXTRA $72 twice!!! My original bill was $136 for in town move less than 65 miles!!!! When I called they told me to call the 800 number called and waited on line for over 40 mins and the girl sounded so annoyed that I was telling her I had been charged extra money when I in fact had overfilled the truck back up. She asked if I took a picture and why would I, there should be faith the local pick up area could do this correctly. I did send in a copy of my bank statement showing where I had purchased gas and I'm currently awaiting a call from the local area manager. If there was another option for moving trucks I would use them the next time I moved! Which this is a total shame because I have used uhaul several times with no issues UNTIL I had to deal with places in Louisiana!

First of all you can stop letting people make reservations if you are not going to have the equipment that was reserved. We reserved a 20 foot truck on 6/17 for the next saturday 6/25. We were not told until 5 pm on 6/24 that the truck was not available, which is ridiculous. Then when we finally got a truck on sunday the dolly we reserved was not there. Then the woman would not refund us for the dolly. You should just fire everyone and start over because everyone that works for uhaul is stupid and needs to just be cafeteria workers where they can not handle anything important. I will absolutely never use uhaul again I would rather carry evertything on my back and walk 202 miles with it than deal with you people ever again.
