The customer service professional that attended me is very experienced, comprehensive, and compassionate. I never used U-Haul before. True is I had some fear but that fear of unknown service was gone in minutes after experiencing their hospitality and user friendly trucks and other equipment. No doubt it is a must moving service.

I made a reservation on-line for this location. I did the on-line check in and paid in advance. When we arrived at the time we had set for pickup, the staff said my reservation was at another location. It took over an hour for them to get the issue resolved. Meanwhile we had people waiting to load the truck. The worst was they didn't seem to care much about our dilemma.

The truck and pickup location performed well; however, I asked for moving help when I reserved the truck and Uhaul's 3rd party was a no show. When they called earlier in the week to confirm, I mentioned getting emails about my move being on November 19th. I told the 3rd party my move was scheduled for Friday, 11/26 and was informed by them that is the date they had. But, the helpers did not show up this morning and when I called the 3rd party I got an answering machine, I followed up with Uhaul and was told my problem was with the 3rd party and told me they charged my credit card on 11/19 because someone gave them the moving code that is emailed to the customer. However, I did not schedule a move for 11/19 and never received a moving code from anyone. These charges need to be reversed since I did not get this service and ended up moving everything with my spouse. Also, Uhaul eventually responded and was going to schedule help for $820 to load and unload a sleeper sofa and one bedroom set. Since the price doubled, I declined the help. So, my overall experience was a 1 out of 5 because I did not get the moving help and Uhaul's 3rd party charged me for a service not received, which I will be contesting with my credit card company.

Our key was placed in the after hours box because our location was changed and our 4pm pickup time could not happen because the new location closed at 3:30pm. This location needs more help. There was one overworked girl having to stay after hours to help the customers. Unfortunately, nobody from the entire uhaul company could seem to help us get our key. We were fortunate that the girl who was working late was finally able to help us get our key. Why does uhaul change the locations on customers? I chose my location based on convenience and customer service rating. I also had to return the truck at a different location because she didn't have room for my truck. Uhaul is rewarding slacker locations and punishing the ones that work hard to provide excellent customer service. The entire process was frustrating mostly because of corporate uhaul policies. If you went to a 5 star restaurant and were told your reservations were moved to a McDonald's across town, I am certain you would be frustrated and disappointed. Uhaul is doing this very thing.

This was my 2nd attempt at renting a truck. The week before I didnt receive any communication that the truck I reserved was not going to be available. I did receive the 50 dollar guarantee for that reservation. Had to put off the move for a week due to this failure. Second attempt was successful but only after visiting the site in person to confirm there would be a truck available. Employees were efficient and nice. The inside of the truck was cleaned. Outside was covered in mud.

The location I used was infested with rats . I took pictures I talked to the owner,he was out of town and he supposed to get in touch with me and never did. I had to go through my belongings piece by piece. The rat ate through some stuff I had I had in some bags. This location knew they had rats and didn't warn me. Poor poor poor ownership. This location need to close down. I'm pissed about my belongings.

Time of rental agreement is confusing. If my rental rate is for 24 hrs why send me a text telling me its for 6 hrs. After 6hrs i could be charged extra. I didn't like it because it should have been communicated in person.
