They told us we couldn't have 2 drivers, there was a hole in the upper right corner of the storage area so my son's property inside got wet due to the snow falling. No washer fluid and the slush made it difficult to see. And it needs brakes. I told this to the gentleman at the store which is on Evergreen in Dearborn Heights and he just shrugged his shoulders. Extremely disappointed with treatment by their staff and the condition of the vehicle. M.A. Sobczak
MARYELLEN AThe guy behind the desk was rude. The truck was not clean. The truck had no gas and had to fill it immediately after driving it. They did not give me a dolly.

MOHAMAD JWhile the lequipment was clean, my only suggestion would be better customer service. The person seemed quite disinterested, giving me a feeling that I am causing inconvenience to him for asking for service. No greetings, no walkthrough. I would really ask to improve customer service and interaction at this site.
MAHMUD MI was overcharged for the rental - excessive mileage, moving pads, and unexplained charge. I am sending in a formal request for customer service assistance.
DAVID MThis was not the location I reserved. U-Haul called the night before to inform me the truck I reserved wasn't available at any local location. I had to travel out of my way to pick up the correct size truck and it was filthy. And because I booked it for a desk pick-up, I couldn't check-in at the kiosk. All of this put us way behind schedule and put us in a dirty truck for a very long drive. And this truck didn't include the moving blankets I reserved and needed! This was a garbage experience because U-Haul didn't actually provide what the customer reserved! And the phone rep didn't give a flip either.

RUBEN FTruck wasn't well maintained. Makes a lot of noises when driving more than 40mph. The right side mirror is lose. Even if you fix it it moves with the vibration and you can not fix it back because it is manual

DIANE DI went to the location to accommodate UHaul as the location I originally was going to didn't have the truck I needed. This location however didn't have the dollies and furniture pads I ordered and I still had to go to the original location to get the equipment I needed.

eddie rTruck smelled like weed, it hadn't been cleaned at all and I found the previous renter's contract (with all their personal information) in the sun visor. The parking lot has no drainage, so I had to walk through 5" of rain water to get to the rental desk. When I got inside I was apparently less important than the game in the gentleman's phone as I had to get his attention several times before he responded. All in all I will never rent from there again and if you were smart you'd pull their franchise asap.

Muhammad SIt would be in U-Haul's best interest as well as the community as a whole to exit the agreement with Everfresh Fruit Market. I am embarrassed for the parents of the men who work in the office here. They could not have raised children to be so awful. Even Allah must be humiliated by their suspicious, unhelpful, unloving and fearful behavior. I will pray for them.

Saina GGet your equipment out of this location. I was treated poorly, nobody seemed to care much about my needs. The person tending to me spoke very broken English. I had a difficult time understanding him. The truck that I rented was beat up, and filthy. I requested a printed copy of my rental agreement in the event I was stopped by Law Enforcement. They would not provide one. The air conditioning didn't work, and I was moving household goods to Florida where the temperatures outside were running in the high 80's. Two separate person's approached me in an aggressive manner in the parking lot asking for money. I am finished with U- Haul, and I have rented numerous times from you.

HAIDAR AThe employee was very nice, but pick up took forever even though we had a reservation. It's not clear where to go as it looks like a normal grocery store. Finally when we did get the truck, it smelled like cigarettes and there was trash all over the inside and the uhaul as well from the previous person. Obviously no one bothers to look inside between rentals - we had to clean up the whole truck before loading our own stuff in. Plus when we got it, it only had 20 miles to empty. That would barely get us home much less moved to the new house. Obviously we would have had to fill it up after, but still… what a way to start the already late day.
Madelyn DWas promised a Dearborn drop off location and U-Haul coordinators were changed on me last minute trying to have me drop off in detroit, took talking to multiple reps including a manager who all said I'd be charged extra for dropping off in Dearborn, which made no sense if we had all ready predetermined a drop off location. Recommend reassessing how these situations are handled because their customer service was difficult to deal with. U-Haul personnel on location was very kind and helpful though.
Angel TThey took one hour to hand over truck.. he is on phone all time and did all other business except this one. we booked small truck .. they said they cant give small one and gave a big one & charged for a big one..

Maryam EThe day before, I scheduled a mobile pickup for 4pm to 10pm. I showed up at 4 and logged in. To my surprise, the website said that i needed to do hand delivery. I went inside and the u-haul part of the store was closed and the guy was gone. Nobody could assist me. They called the u-hual guy 'Mo', and he argued with me saying that i should have seen his hours. I argued back that I had selected mobile pick up so it should not have been a big deal because they have a Dropbox. He also told me to go to a different location to find another. I had a crew of movers with me and did not have time to try to find another one. He eventually came back, and when he got here he was completely clueless. He tried to schedule me a new rental.. I told them I already had a reservation and the vehicle is sitting outside.. I had to show him what to do on his computer to find my reservation. Eventually, I got the key and was able to go.. What should have been 10 to 15 minutes took over an hour.. Please know, I have rented u-hauls many many times and this is the worst experience I have ever had.
